I came in from out of town and decided to come here for the day - the staff was super awesome, the gym was super dope and the equipment was really nice:)) If I lived around here I would get a membership ASAP

Moved to this area from Orland park and was very worried about finding a gym because of how much I loved avolve fitness in Orland park, however this gym is absolutely amazing. Extremely clean and the staff is super friendly. I look forward to finding a new home at avolve fitness in Darien!

I’ve been working out at this location for about 5 years now and it’s probably in the best condition it’s ever been. It’s consistently clean, the staff are all super personable and helpful (especially Chris), it has all the equipment you could ever need, and the fact it’s open 24/7 prevents the overcrowded environment like most other nearby gyms. Love coming here most days of the week!

Avolve is a great very convenient gym. It is always open and honestly has everything you need! From weights to cardio machines it is perfect for all types of gym goers.I would give it a shot if you have not already. Also they have multiple locations! But Darien is my favorite one!

At the beginning of the pandemic, told that Silver Sneakers members werent allowed to enter the health club. Months later, I stopped by to see if they were finally letting Silver Sneakers members in yet. I was told that Avolve dropped its association with the program (or possibly Avolve was dropped by the program). Whichever, why werent members notified of the disassociation with the program? Avolve obviously has absolutely no respect for its former members which equates to being extremely mismanaged. Worst was how the kid on-duty at the desk told me I had been kicked while attempting to up-sell me in the same breath. Get outta here!!! With LA Fitness, Midtown, and Charter practically within jogging distance, this place needs to show some respect for all members and get itself organized. As of 2021, the place is pathetic and should be avoided at all costs. And I do mean costs!!!

I came to this gym because mine was closed, and I came to really love and appreciate this gym! It’s small but has everything needed to have a good workout. I also really love the people who are so kind and inviting. I was also amazed that it’s 24/7 and does not close despite holidays, etc.

BAD MANAGEMENT ! As a member I will not recommend this place to anyone for one particular reason. And thats the way this place is managed. If you express some of your concerns or issues, it sounds like theyre doing you a favor just for listening. Theres always issues with the temperature because the thermostats are placed in the office, not in the gym. Thats why the system isnt operating properly. If you sweat and the air is blowing you feel like its 60 degrees inside, but some people feel like its 90. You express your concerns and there is a negative reaction because youre asking someone to fix the problem? And it sounds like theyre doing you a big favor just for touching a button on the thermostat. As a customer Im coming here to relax and enjoy my workout, not to get attitude and try to be lectured by the staff member Daryl, who tells me the same thing over and over. When I signed up with him, I was told that this place will also have a sauna after 4 months still nothing .There is issues with some of the equipment, elements are falling off, not properly attached, and its not the cleanest place either. When you walk in the staff is always unhappy, doesnt socialize, not sure what the issue is, but you dont feel much positive energy. The best person that ever worked here was a guy named Josh, always happy and friendly, and a very respectful gentleman. He tried to give you advice, offering help, ever since he left, this place is upside down, zero interest in the customers, and bad communication skills. Staff spend more time on the phone . To much headache not worth it .

This is the best gym Ive ever joined. The staff and trainers are very helpful and professional. The morning staff member Irene is amazing with cleanliness. She makes this gym the cleanest gym I’ve ever been a member of. They worked with me extensively on what i needed to achieve my fitness goals when i first joined. They set me up with one of the best trainers Ive worked with, Ethan. All in all I highly recommend this Workout Anytime.

I originally purchased a member ship from Workout Anytime 24/7. Right in the middle, without so much as a text, email, phone call or letter the club was sold to and became Avolve Fitness. No notice. No options. Nothing. I stopped in and asked to speak with a manager (they were closed to remodel at the time) and was told no one was available so I left my name and #. No one returned my call. I called several days later and got the same results. I specifically joined that club and prepaid a two year premium membership-first mistake so that I could use a location while at home, 55 miles away and a location while at work in Darien. Now Ive hot nothing. Lousy management. Stay away.

I’ve been a member of this location for last 3 months and love this place. This is the first gym Ive been a member at and the staff has been so accommodating. I started training with Darryl and have already lost 13 lbs in the first 2 months. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and they keep the place very clean. I love the fact that they are upgrading the gym and getting towel service. 👍

I love being a member there, Darrel is great, the way he manages the place is amazing, loved by all , customers and fellow trainers. The whole atmosphere is Clem, encouraging and safe. From the moment you walk in and greeted by Josh, you are family and the staff know you by name and ready to help you as much as they can.Jordan is the life of the place, great trainer.

I’m so glad that Avolve fitness in darien is open! It’s great to be back & they have a lovely staff that is always willing to help. This place always has the best music and a great setup! SO to Mike the owner.

Just found out that my monthly fee was being charged without my knowledge since the buyout of the previous gym. Probably over a year. I had cancelled my membership prior to the handover. When I called the Darien gym the employee verified that I could not get a refund and that had to have proof of my cancellation. Kind of hard to cancel your account when they have the wrong email on file.

Been a member since it opened. Great basic health Club which is what I want. My only complaint is that it is too hot at times. I get warm enough working out.

I came here as a guest with my friend two separate times and I was surprised it was as nice as it was. I ended up switching from planet fitness 2 weeks ago because this place has better equipment and is much cleaner than planet fitness. If you haven’t been to this Workout Anytime you’re missing out. This is a great location!!!

They will charge you extra and add fees for no reason. I cancelled my membership and they kept charging me. They asked for a proof that I cancelled my membership, and I sent it but they still have the account open.Worst gym ever.Mean staff.

I’ve been a member for the last 6 months after switching from charter fitness and it’s been an awesome experience. If youre looking for a welcoming gym with great equipment and an awesome staff you will love Workout Anytime. Most trainers at gyms never seem to want to help you without charging you but Ethan at this location is super cool about just giving a few tips anytime you ask. Highly recommend this location. I switched from a bigger gym and love this place.

Best place to workout in the area! 24/7 is very convenient because of my work schedule. Machines are always clean and the management and staff are always helpful. They do have tanning here if you are interested in that as well.

I really want to like this place more...but the older it gets, the more I seem to dislike it. It is really convenient for me, so I wont necessarily stop going unless I can find something else, but the upkeep is my biggest gripe.I dont believe this place is clean. I know the bathroom urinal was filthy for two months and smelled awful. I havent checked recently, for obvious reasons, but not much I can do about it. The water fountain is a bacteria haven, but since I dont carry a swab with me, I cant prove it. Still...ugh.My other complaint is that I feel like there is at least one thing wrong with about 80% of the machines. Sometimes minor, but it might be a wonky sound plug, or a wobbly machine, or a loose hand grip...but all things that either interfere with my workout or make me have to be more careful on a machine. Just doesnt seem like I should have to do that.Im really hoping it gets better...but if I can find a new place close, I would probably jump in a heartbeat.

Joined this gym about a month ago and love it. I was a member at a couple other gyms in the area and this is by far the best value in the area. They have all the equipment you need and the environment is awesome. Im super impressed with the staff. Priscilla and Irene are awesome at the front desk and always have the place clean. Glad I made the switch from planet fitness. Highly recommend this gym 👍🏼

I signed up with Kelly Flores. She was fantastic! She gave me a detailed tour of the facilities and worked with me to identify a plan that would work best with my goals. Though Ive only been there for a week, it seems that staff, like Kelly, care about the patrons.

Ive been going here ever since I moved from Arizona 3 years ago and still till this day it is one of my favorite gyms to workout at. The gym has everything you need for a great workout and the staff is extremely friendly with the exception of a couple of the past managers. New management has really made this place awesome over the last 8-9 months.Highly recommended if youre looking for a gym to put you headphones on and get your workout on. I love that it never seems to be overly crowded like some on the other gyms I tried in the area. I got 2 of my friends to join about 2 years ago and they are still coming to this gym too.

I live right next to the Naperivlle south location so I use that location a lot. But I work in willow brook and I stopped by this gym after work today and I was super impressed with the facility and the staff. I met the GM Charles and he knew fitness inside and out. Super impressed by how professional and inviting the staff was. The gym was super clean. Love all the locations Workout Anytime has around the suburbs.

I was a member at planet fitness close by but the place was always crowded and the staff didn’t help at all. The front desk staff at Workout Anytime is awesome. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I’m glad I made the switch and I recommend this for anyone looking for a 24/7 gym.

I bounced around from a few gyms in the area because it seems all of them are dirty. over crowded, and over priced. I joined Workout Anytime about 6 months ago and can’t tell you how impressed I am with this facility. You can’t best their prices, best in the area. The staff does a great job of cleaning and are super friendly. I think the best part of this gym though is the fact that the trainers are really professional and know what they are talking about. They were always willing to help me in the beginning and it made me actually stick going to a gym because everyone is super friendly. I feel like some of these reviews are making up stuff just because they don’t like the cancellation policy. I guess it’s inconvenient to send a letter in the mail but all gyms make you do that and this gym is very upfront about it when signing up. I wish I could give this location more than 5 stars!!!

Love this Gym! I have been a member for 3 years. All of the trainers are professional, educated, and always helpful. Been with my same trainer Karissa since I joined and have lost over 40lbs. I haven’t been in this good of shape since I was in my 20’s. This gym has all of the cardio and strength training equipment you need and more. I would definitely recommend this gym.

Cheater！cheater! Cheater!They are totally lying.....the company just wants to steal money from us. All the paperwork you signed are just jokes....they keep what they want to keep and trashed the one they don’t want to keep...then when you are there telling them you want to see the paperwork, they tell you they don’t have it so they denied what they agreed with you before. Personal training is totally a scam! Don’t ever sign for that! Purchased 32 and they still keep charging you for another 80 class! How I am going to finish all 80 classes in a year?! Yes! All personal training classes expire in a year! Who tell me that?! After I find out they charged me for another 80 classes, I went there and argued with them. However, the answer is not refundable and all the classes will expire in a year! The contract you signed is a lie! They use their computer to sign you up and set up an automatic payment with your card without letting you know since they already have all your information! Be aware!Now...I can’t get my money for 80 classes back and they force me to purchase another year of the membership in order to use my personal training classes! What a joke! Nobody tell me all the classes will expire in a year! Nobody tell me they will secretly steal your money!The company is just a joke! Cheater!The only words they will tell you in the store is “the person who signed you up is no longer work here so I don’t know!”Totally mad with the company and want my money back!Don’t ever run a business like this! Cheater!Please! Find someone who can help us! Get our money back!Please let me know if there’s anything I can do to get my money back!

This is the first gym I’ve really felt comfortable at. Bigger gyms in the area are intimidating and crowded. The staff is awesome. Anything you need they are more than willing to help you. They also do a great job with cleaning. The place is spotless. I’ve already referred two of my friends that were at xsport to switch over and they love it. On top of being a great experience you really can’t beat the price for 24 hour access.

Great gym with awesome members! I just wouldn’t go online for a free trial. After one visit my husband and I were pressured into joining. I asked if we could wait until after our trial was finished but was told most people know after one time use if they want to join fully, really awkward and not like most trials.

This is a gym that I would recommend to anyone looking for an unorganized personal trainer. They do not respect trainers trying to get organized and inappropriately flirt with their employees causing them to be uncomfortable. They also do not reply to emails addressing situations such as sexual harassment going on in the workplace. This is somewhere I would recommend for nobody.

Great little gym. Not to busy clean atmosphere

The gym is small but clean...however the charges and payment system is a scam. If you sign up for personal training, you are signing up to be charged for sessions each month regardless if you use them or not. When I signed up, I was told I was signing up for two sessions a week for a month (8 in total). I wasnt able to keep two appointments and thought that I wouldnt be charged until I had used the full eight sessions. Nope. I was charged for another eight before the original eight were used. Since there is no monthly billing receipt, you dont realize this until everything hits your credit card and by that time they require another months fees before it will end. True, this is probably noted in the paperwork I signed, but I trusted the guy who was signing me up. Buyer beware. If you try to cancel your membership, you also have to pay an additional month or two beyond the point where you go in to fill out paperwork and stop the membership. Thats if anyone qualified is working that day (the pay for the people they employ must be very low as turn over is constant). Twice I was in there and no one could work the printer to make me a copy of the paperwork I had just completed. Also, canceling the membership requires going into the facility to fill out the paperwork AND then the customer has to mail in said paperwork to the corporate office. They insist I was told this but I was not. I was so frustrated by this facility that I wanted to be done with them once and for all. I would have mailed the paperwork. Since it didnt get mailed, I will now have an additional two months of membership fees to pay. Why in the world they require the customer to to into the facility plus mail in the cancellation paperwork rather than cancel for you (they can cancel personal training on site...but not a membership) is just a part of the scam. Oh, their phone number often doesnt work either. I think its just the owners cell number.

I I have been a member at avolve fitness in Darien for approximately 3 years now. I started there originally to lose some weigt, and get in shape. Besides the fact that I have seen progress in myself in the last 3 years, I have seen a vast improvement in this facility in the last 6 months. There is a new general manager whos doing an amazing job with this specific location. He seems that he is focused mostly on building the staff, and relationships with of the members. The staff members that he has brought on to this location are very enjoyable as well. They seemed to work together as a team instead of individualy against each other. They are very professional, and i honestly am very happy at this location. I look forward to seeing what it has in store in the future.
