Highly recommend Dr. Ram. Not only is he amazing but you know, absolutely know he cares about his patients and they well being. First time I met with him, he was so caring and calming. He was informative and he said he would work something out if there were issues with my insurance. This surgery changed my life and its in large part to Dr. Ram. I knew i was in great hands with him. 10 outta 10 withiut a doubt.

Dr Rami saved my life. My small intestine had twisted onto itself, cutting off the blood flow and ultimately a large portion died and became gangrened and ruptured, causing me to dump my entire blood volume into my abdominal cavity. I showed up at Fitz’s ER, and within moments, went into cardiac arrest. I was coded and rushed into surgery, headed by Dr Ramachandra. I proceeded to code another 4x during surgery due to my heart literally being empty of blood. He replaced my entire blood volume multiple times, and worked on me for HOURS, refusing to give up on me. I survived the surgery but was now in septic shock from the bacteria from my ruptured intestines, and was in a coma. Was brought back to the OR numerous times to clean out my abdominal cavity. He was honest and forthcoming to my family about my grave condition and slim chances of recovery, but also informed them that as long as I kept fighting, that he was fighting for my life with me. I eventually came out of my coma, weaned from the ventilator, and went thru months of rehab learning to rewalk again along with regaining my strength. I’ve made a full recovery since that day in June 2012, and I owe my life to Dr Rami and his incredible team. ❤️❤️❤️
