I came to Dana Point Dental from another office and the difference was amazing! They are professional but also very friendly and caring. I always feel Im getting the best care possible. Dr. Cifarelli is my dentist, she is also the best along with Shannon my hygienist. I couldnt be more satisfied.

Does anyone really like going to the dentist? I do and you would too if you have Dr. C (Dr. Cifarelli) at Dana Point Dental office. The patients are special (that’s how you feel) and every staff person you encounter treats you that way. It’s a great group of people that work there.I just had veneers done and besides my teeth looking incredible, so many of my friends and family have told me they don’t know what I did, but I look 20 years younger! I can’t begin to say how thankful and grateful I am to to Dr. C and her whole staff.

We can always rely on Dana Point Dental for a friendly, pleasant, and timely visit. It’s reassuring to trust your dentist and feel confident about the work being performed. The office is beautiful, relaxing and convenient.

Dr C. and her crew are second to NONE! My husband had major dental work that needed to be done after suffering the affects of sub par work previously performed by numerous dentists. Dr. C fixed up both of our grills and we couldn’t be happier!

Dr. Larijani and his team are smile generators. Everyone is so easy to communicate with, friendly, and engaging. They take the time to ensure comfort from when you enter - to the chair - to when you leave. Christina and all the hygienists are extraordinary. They adjust to your needs and offer first-class care. We laugh! This is a dentist that genuinely makes you smile. I was lucky enough to have the team for my Invisalign. I cannot gush enough about the experience! I am over the moon happy with my sparkling smile. Their level of customer care is unparalleled to any other dentist experience.

What can I say? Been coming here for years and never thought I’d actually enjoy and look forward to a dentist visit! I was with Dr. Cifarelli for years and she is amazing! My insurance changed so I switched to Dr. Larijani and he is just as amazing… they both are incredibly skilled, funny, and have an excellent staff who is thorough and helpful in every way. I recommend DP Dental to literally all my friends and colleagues in the area like it’s a new smoothie shop or something. If you are in South OC looking for dental service of any kind these ARE your people!!!

My husband and I both starting going here because it’s so close to our home. We chose this office purely for the convenience of the location but it has been an amazing experience. All of the staff is so kind and friendly. I saw Dr. Cifarelli and my husband saw Dr. Lairjani. Both are wonderful, super gentle, and knowledgeable. We are so happy to have found such a great dentist!

So I am not exaggerating when I say I am cripplingly terrified of the dentist due to multiple traumatic events. I had not been in 5.5 years and had some major issues that needed to be addressed.I really truly was petrified when I found out the extent of the damage for my age.Dr.C not only made me feel NORMAL for having strong fear of dental work but she made me so comfortable. She had so much empathy while still being extremely professional. I had work I could have never dreamed of getting done in such a comfortable and trusting way. The dentist is still not my favorite but I trust Dr. C to give me straight forward advice and follow through with exceptional work. Im so happy I found this team and will continue to have me and my family go here. I recommend to all my friends who are looking for a trustworthy dentist.I could not be more happy or comfortable. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a new dentist or anyone who is nervous. ❤️

Dr. L and his team are fantastic. Everyone within the office always has a smile on their face and are extremely good at their craft. I know that most people agonize over going to the dentist but Dr. L and his team make a trip to the dentist office as enjoyable as could be possible.

I have never had a dental examination to match what I received at Dana Point Dental!My cleaning yesterday was excellent and the technician ( Brittany) finished the treatment with rinses for sensitivity and to reduce bacteria, both firsts for me ( and I am a senior). I highly recommend Dana Point Dental.

Dr. Cifarelli gives you all the time you need to discuss your treatment plan, which is surprising since they never make you wait more than a few minutes past your scheduled appointment time. Shannon is the very best, pain free hygenist you will find. The staff is professional as well as friendly. They know who you are and always address you as soon as you arrive. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to DPD.

I transferred my care to this office after my favorite hygienist started working there. Kristina is WONDERFUL - very knowledgeable, professional, kind and friendly. I met Dr. Larijani at my first visit. Excellent dentist - knows what hes talking about and very personable. I ended up needing a crown and developed lots of pain that night. He called to check in on me and immediately made room in his schedule to see me the next day and referred me to a great oral surgeon for a root canal. Followed up regularly to see how I was doing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

An excellent experience replacing a crown! The staff was terrific and Dr. C made the replacement a non-event. So efficient and easy!

Been a patient for 10 years+. Always a great job, very meticulous. Dr. Cifarelli and the team make you feel right at home, the work is never rushed, they take their time and do it right the first time.

Can’t edit my original review from 3 years ago, but not pleased with the work done on my mouth. While both office staff and dentist were excellent in making me feel comfortable, the quality of the work completed on my mouth now has issues after such a short time. I had 2 onlays and 1 inlay; all of which are experiencing issues in one way or another. One onlay was too thin in a section causing it to crack and break. This resulted in me getting a full crown and paying additional 1k with a new dentist. The inlay on the tooth behind my now new crown has caused the rear of my molar to break away from where the inlay was inserted. This will likely cost me another thousand to get fixed. Finally my last onlay has a tiny gap between tooth and onlay that will most likely cause a cavity since it was improperly fitted.All in all, the massive amount of money I spent here I will need to re-spend for corrections due to poor fittings. Extremely disappointed that my work done only lasted 3 years with all proper maintenance steps taken on my end.

Dr Cifarelli is the best dentist around. I live in LA and I drive down to Dana Point just to see her because of her professionalism and her amazing staff.

Dentist great, front desk staff very poor. I started with them as a cash pay. A year or 2 later I got dental insurance. I gave the insurance information to front office staff. They did not verify my dental insurance, continuing my cash pay. Once I realized I had overpaid, I brought to staff attention, they would not do anything to amend the situation. We were a family of 4! I was very disappointed, and left feeling like our needs didnt matter. We had no choice but to make a change.....

This is the type of Dentist that you would expect to see in the magazines on airplanes. The environment here is calm, caring and as relaxing as can be for getting dental work done. The quality and craftsmanship here is unmatched on the highest level. The office is very clean and the entire staff is very nice and easy to work with. The office is never crowded and the work is never rushed all with patients in mind as they never overbook. I am always seen and cared for on time or early as the understated that your time is is important just like theirs. I often have to travel a great distance to get here, usually by airplane. Off all the dentist in the country, this is the one i prefer to go to because there isno substitute for quality. Of all the places that I visited and reviewed, I give this one the highest recommendations.

Im so happy to have such an Awesome Dentist! Dr L is so nice and kind and makes me feel safe in his hands. To not be afraid of the Dentist is such a great feeling. Everyone there is so nice and friendly and helpful. Just a Great experience all around. My daughter is also a patient of Dr. L and she feels the same way about him. This was the best experience Ive ever had at the dentist! Every single person at the office was just so friendly and kind. The Dr. Cifarelli takes the time to really get to know you and your dental background to come up with a plan suitable for your needs. I wish I could remember the Hygenists name, she was absolutely wonderful and did the most thorough cleaning ever! It smells lovely in there and it feels like a spa treatment for your teeth. Ive had a few dentists in my lifetime, but I must say that it is almost a pleasure to visit Dr. Cifarelli and her staff. I had three babies without so much as an aspirin, but go near my mouth? thats another story. They are very caring, accommodating, thorough and reasonable with fees. HIGHLY recommend.

Went in to get veneers for my top four teeth because they were cracked due to a high sticking incident playing hockey.Dr. C was amazing. Cannot say enough about the great work she did.
