I am astounded at the outright lies (I have evidence) that I have been repeatedly told by this alleged insurer regarding my coverage. They are the most negligent, unprofessional, unethical, uncaring, and all together disdainful insurance company I have ever had to deal with. They either have grossly incompetent customer service representatives and billing associates or they have petty people working for them who will use their position to continually interfere with your “coverage” (via juvenile and petty means) should you refuse to bow down and just accept their fundamental ineptitude and thorough dishonesty.Take my advice and record every single call you ever make to this company…that is to say if you are foolish enough to elect to have them “cover” you. Georgia is a “one party state” hence you do not have to have their permission to record the calls. Trust me you are going to need those recordings just to get this company to deliver on the coverage they claim to be providing. There are other providers on the Georgia ACA exchange. You’d do very well for yourself to elect any other provider than Alliant. I will be filing formal complaints with every appropriate state and federal agency; these complaints will include the irrefutable evidence that Alliant has continually lied to me and misrepresented their actions regarding my so called “coverage”. I cannot wait for November when open enrollment comes so that I can get a new provider and never again have to deal with these snake oil selling flimflam shysters again! If you have had similar problems with Alliant please email me. I believe there is a distinct possibility of filing a class action lawsuit against them based on the various reviews I have read. If you do not yet have them as your provider then please for your own sake and health stay far away from Alliant!

Customer service very poor. Same trouble with auto billing that others have noted. Never have had coverage issues because fortunately have not had to use it. The process of getting out of this insurance coverage was a time consuming, frustrating process spanning 5 phone calls and untold hours of time. Stay far away.

Do not get Alliant. I have a wife and two girls and need health insurance. My little girl was sent to CHOA for an emergency health issue. She stayed there for three nights. Medical bill was 15k. Alliant explanation of benefits allowed next to nothing and paid for nothing. I appealed and they agreed to pay like 2k. What a joke. Per insurance coverage, her out of pocket maximum should be like 7k, go figure. It doesnt stop there, Alliant routinely does not cover in network medical bills by not allowing health care suppliers to bill them at any rate. Everything seems to be a fight or struggle with them to make them pay for anything. They win because no one has the $$$ and time to hire lawyers and take them to trial. What a joke. They are horrible. Please stay away!

Not good Aliant - you are such a horrible excuse for a company. And as for “customer service” - hardly!Every negative review of this company is 100% accurate! Aliant is the most corrupt health insurance company. A sales rep and I had agreed that I would be placed on auto pay. After emailing her several times without response, we find out AT THE HOSPITAL that we have been terminated without the ability to reinstate. So I fire off an email to the same sales woman and guess who calls me immediately - to tell me I have to reapply for open enrollment. So the way I see it, she gets Two sales and is responsible for my termination. I believe Extortion is still illegal!

It’s truly hard to put into words how magnificent Alliant Health is. The customer service is beyond outstanding and if there is ever a problem, there is absolutely no hesitation when it comes to help. Supervisors are also on standby and they are ready and willing to help you with whatever your need or questions may be.

They DO NOT accept payments with credit cards. So if your amount has gone up a LOT, you better make sure that you have money in an account with a routing number. They are not helpful at all for those that are working people with limited income.

If I could give them a negative 100 I would! My child was approved for a service that was needed after surgery. They sent several approval letters each and every time for the service; however, denied payment after sending two approval letters for the very last after surgery service. This is not the first time I have had to fight them over a denial of payment. People be weary of this insurance company! Alliant is a joke, they do not follow through with their approvals! Having them as an insurance company is like NOT having insurance at all! It’s not worth the fight. So, if you or your company is looking for insurance seek it else where. I am so glad my family is no longer with them.

I get that Health Insurance is at the top of stressors in our crazy lives, but I have to say Ive just been blown away by the customer service that I have received several times calling them and them actually working on my problem and fixing it. Im almost 60 and have had to work with all kinds of companies in my life and Alliant has been great. They cant fix the health crisis and they cant do magic, but they have gone over and above helping me fix spurious bills and claims. Huge thank you to them!!!

Alliant is the worst! I paid for my daughters healthcare on her first year before I changed companies and they will not pay for any of her vaccines because “they sent me a form and I never filled it out” now I have a $2500 bill for a form I never received or even knew about while paying monthly for her to be able to get those vaccines. Biggest scam. If you’re thinking to work with this company look into Anthem blue cross blue shield i stead. That’s what I have now and they are amazing!

I find the fact that nowhere on their website or mailed paperwork said anything about needing to use a checking account. I made my first payment on a credit card as I am reimbursed for healthcare through my work a month later, everything went fine. Later, I entered the same routing and account number for my second months payment and the transaction was voided by the company. I called to understand the issue, and I was told you must use a checking account and the first payment was a complimentary service. I asked where this new policy was written on the site or when they mailed me a notice of forms of accepted payment. I was then put on a nice and brief 30 min hold. When the representative returned to the call I was told me billing was not able to get her the information yet and would have to call me back. Now almost a week later and I have yet to receive any correspondence. Beware of this company and their bad business practices. I would understand more if I wasnt paying over five hundred dollars a month for their service. Please pick a known and trusted company that is at least transparent in their billing and doesnt need to resort to their employees submitting 5 star reviews to boost their abysmal ratings.Update: went to use my $560 dollar plan thinking I could actually get medical attention. The only location open was an hour from where I was and was told I would have an appointment to inquire about a preexisting medical condition. I was told I cannot be seen for anything other than a covid test and that there is no cure so there would be consultation to inquire about medications needed. That i quote need to feel better before we can talk about medications. To be clear I was asking to be seen about sleep problems and had no fever. I was just lumped in as another easy payment with no real doctor consultation. This provider works with the worst doctors Ive ever had. I wish i could still have a good company like kaiser who could at least do phone visits. This provider will not if you are a first time patient. Funny I spend the same amount each month but because I dont go complain about every ache and pain now Im seen as being lower than th le junkies getting their scripts from these low grade clinics. Btw this company only operates through gwinnett clinics and urgent care so good luck getting seen by a real doctor and not a addiction doctor peddling legal heroin called methadone. I see where yalls priorities lie. So next time you have to pick a provider i wholeheartedly ask you to look elsewhere. Or you can have health issues that cant be resolved for 2 weeks cause you need to feel better before they will prescribe a medication. But they pass out methadone and opioids like candy and i gave to bury their mistakes each day at work. Guess how many junkies get help from doctors like this only to die from an overdose of their safe drug they get junkies to pay for each day. In glad the countries epidemic is the reason this company can even exist. Makes me sick. Go kill some more patients and help your community. They have 10 addiction doctors to each family practice doctor. Unless you have an addiction problem find another provider because youll be driving all over to find a doctor you can barley understand or who will even see you when your sick. Funny that they take an oath to help others but sit on their hands when people actually need help. The nice lady giving me information on offices couldnt believe i couldnt be seen by 6 offices.

PSA: Avoid Alliant Heath Plans at all costs. We spend $1,100 a month on heath insurance. We had a complicated birth and we knew that we would reach max out of pocket for me (a little over $7,000). Following his birth we called Alliant two times and were told that our son would be covered under me. We were told, and I quote, “If you are charged more then $7,000 out of pocket call back and we will make it right.” Well, after receiving $13,000 in medical bills, we called back. Turns out we were misinformed. They found a “loop hole” in our policy.I would spend every penny I have to hold my baby boy. That is not the issue. The professionalism and misinformation going on at Alliant Health Plans has been a trend we have noticed for the past year. Therefore, I would not recommend them.

So disappointed and frustrated. Have had Alliant for a few years now and have never had any issues dealing with them. I am visiting my Aunt in Hsv Alabama (about 4 hours from home), and I broke my fibula and was told I needed to see an orthopedic surgeon immediately. Called Alliant and was told a orthopedic surgeon here in Hsv would not be covered even though its an emergency, I will have to drive all the way back with a broken leg. So ridiculous

Had some problems with health insurance but nothing major. The plan said my kids were covered for dental just file it & they will pay in network. But when we got there we had to pay up front because they don’t actually pay unless their deductible has been met. So Alliant wouldn’t reimburse me. Instead they applied that money toward their deductible. I didn’t need it applied. I need it reimbursed.

Terrible. I have been trying for 9 months to get auto pay. I am unsure if anyone competent works for them as its STILL hasnt happened. A friend of mine lost his insurance because he was told he had auto pay but turns out he didnt. If you can get another plan, do it. These clowns are robbing you blind by making you pay out the (you know what) for not even basic coverage.

They deserve no stars. Haven’t been able to reach customer service in over 72 hrs. Their site is not wking. The search engine is stuck in the searching mode. Can’t find a doc who takes this insurance and can’t get through to customer service. Have paid $2600 out of pocket this yr already not including the $600 per month and u can’t get anyone to answer the phone. I have never experienced this with an insurance plan before. It’s dangerous if u are a patient in need. Run from this healthcare plan. Not Ok. And I’m writing this while I have been on hold for over an hr. I’m starting to think no one actually wks here or they only have 1 or 2 customer service representatives. So if u are a member and need help...you are out of luck because no one answers the phone and the member site doesn’t work.

Their customer service reps (while friendly) are so poorly trained and seem to have no real answers to anything. Their systems are constantly crashing, freezing, or theyre otherwise unable to access basic documents like your plans handbook. Their marketplace plans do not cover ANY benefits for anything autism-related, so skip them if thats something you need. AVOID.
