Dr. Dullye is a wonderful Ob/Gyn! I have been seeing her for a couple years now. She is always very caring and gentle during the yearly checkups. I am now under her care during my first pregnancy. My husband and I really appreciate her style of care and bedside manner. She is never in a rush and always asks if we have questions. We even receive calls from her over the weekend to explain lab results, and the next steps in care during the pregnancy. She is a very dedicated obstetrician and I highly recommend her!

Before Dullye my wife could conceive naturally, after Dullye’s simple surgery we no longer can. She ruined so many of our dreams and wasted a year of our lives and did no follow up. Beware if you’re looking to have kids.

She helped bring a perfect miracle into our lives and we couldnt be more thrilled with her! Were grateful to have worked with such a knowledgeable, friendly doctors office! Her staff are friendly, gracious and competent. I highly recommend Dr. Tara Dullye and her staff!!!

Extremely sloppy care. So many mistakes were made and she took zero responsibility. Her favorite excuse for her own errors is the blame the patient for lack of understanding.1) On our first meeting she circled the wrong risk statistics for my age which was my first warning sign something was off. I let this go and didnt say anything.2) She said the carrier testing required a sample from my husband but didnt say anything about him being needed for any other tests. We went in and clearly stated that he was there so we could do the carrier testing. They took his blood but turns out they didnt send it in for carrier testing like we asked. It was used for some other test we had never even been told about. Now here I am 4 months pregnant still waiting on those results to see if my baby is okay. Its kind of a moot point now. When I brought it up she said oh it is confusing, as if we just didnt understand. No, its not confusing, you just didnt tell us about this other test and you didnt listen to what we said we wanted tested, but thanks for patronizing us.3) At my first sonogram she looked very confused and asked me to confirm the first day of my last period. I clearly told her 3/30 and even showed her the notes I had taken in my phone. She said well maybe you ovulate later than normal. It really worried me that he was smaller than he should be or something. Come to find out later it was all due to a clerical error put in by her staff. She said I put it in that way but I certainly did not and even if there was a clerical error, I gave her all the information on the spot as she was looking at the screen. She should have caught it then. As a medical provider you are supposed to verify and re-verify all information not blame your patient when you make incorrect statements.4) The phlebotomist who took my blood didnt properly clean the chair. When I came in I could see a sweat stain with leg imprints. When I pointed it out, she put in minimal effort to quickly wipe it. She didnt say a word as she was taking my blood which made me very anxious. When she put on the band-aid, she didnt use any gauze and I ended up bleeding through my shirt and almost fainted.5) I told her at my first visit that I had a LEEP 3 months prior to getting pregnant and that puts me at greater risk for miscarriage. (Its true you can google it.) She said no, theres no increase in risk. She must have done more research later because at a routine office visit she said you need to have an ultrasound to get checked for that. By that time the ultrasound technician was booked up and I had to come back to a separate appointment the following week. If she had planned better in advance, I could have had both appointments on the same day. With all of this sloppiness I have serious doubts that she can provide adequate maternal care. I brought up these concerns with her as nicely as I could and rather than trying to make it right, she said Well maybe Im not the right doctor for you. I cant change my personality. If not taking ownership is her personality, then that is even scarier.

I drive from Denison over 70 miles to Dr Dullyes office for my yearly exams. Her staff is always kind and professional and Dr Dullye takes time to listen to my concerns....I feel heard. She is very caring and easy to talk to. As a woman past menopause I trust her advice on hormone replacement options as she generally references studies without getting too technical. She is also very open to discussing OPTIONS in treatment approaches...not necessarily hardcore medical model as I experienced recently when seeking her advice regarding an autoimmune disease I have. As with any OB/GYN sometimes the wait time beyond your appointment is unpredictable or a bit longer than anticipated but that goes with the territory of ANY surgeon. I would rather wait an extra hour and feel like I am truly a cared for patient than be seen promptly by another doctor and feel like I was just another number or case.

I adore Dr. Dullye. Ive never written an online review before but I hate that her score is not as high as it should be. I rarely waited more than five minutes (if that) before appointments, she always remembered who I was and what was going on with me, and she definitely took into account what was best for me in regards to delivering earlier than I initially planned. I became a high risk pregnancy towards the end and she was so reassuring. Im usually shy and dont talk much but I found it very easy to talk to her about not only my pregnancy, but also shared interests. Ill be going to her for as long as I live in the DFW area.

After some bad luck with my previous OB, I began seeing Dr. Dullye at the referral of a friend. My experience with her has been wonderful both as an expecting mother, in the delivery room and also for annual visits. I find her calm yet direct demeanor to be incredibly suitable for her role. While she might not get over excited or spend loads of time making small talk with patients she strikes the perfect balance of compassion and professionalism (less small talk = more efficient scheduling) while giving patients facts in a personal yet direct way. While perhaps out of the ordinary, she spent at least 3 hours straight in the delivery room with me. I was so impressed and appreciative of the care I received during that time. Lastly, her office is masterful at scheduling. I can only recall one time where I waited longer than 5-10 mins to see her and thats when she was in a delivery. I would highly recommend Dr. Dullye to friends and family.

My husband and I felt that she was racist. She was not very personable and I didnt feel like she genuinely cared. I went to labor and delivery and while there she informed us that we would be dropped bc we missed our last appointment. (Keep in mind we tried to reschedule and that I was a teacher) it ended up being a blessing in disguise bc the nurse on duty in labor and delivery suggested a far BETTER doctor who took me on at 6 months pregnant and is now doing prenatal care for my second pregnancy. I would not recommend Tara Dullye.

I found an anonymous review (love those) as I was confirming Dr. Dullyes mailing address to send a Christmas card. Save for a few accurate details, I would assume this review was about a different office. I met Dr. Dullye under unusual circumstances, and she could have turned me away but she didnt. I had a disagreement with my former OB and needed some guidance and understanding that she provided, despite her backlogged day (resulting from having two deliveries that day--occupational hazard when youre an OB). She also took me on as a patient when she was accepting no new patients (at the time). I think thats what consistent accolades from D Magazine gets you...a doctor that everyone wants. My most recent children were baked and delivered under the supervision or direct hands of Dr. Dullye, a doctor who herself brought me Sprite to settle my stomach as Im throwing up post-delivery from the epidural. Dr. Dullye is efficient in trying to keep to her schedule, but I have never felt that I couldnt talk to her or ask her something. But which is it? Does she run behind 30 minutes to have a chat fest or does she try to balance having morning coffee with you with seeing patients? You cant have it both ways, Captain Anonymous. And the no kids thing? THANK GOD she doesnt allow those human cesspools of germs from Nastytown in that office to infect pregnant moms and their fragile lives inside. Dr. Dullye has a few kids of her own so I doubt she sits at home crafting kid-unfriendly policies to inconvenience people just like her. As for the overbilling and overpaying, since you receive your expected costs upfront (courtesy of her hyper-organized and efficient office manager), if you were required to pay more than you anticipated, most likely a result of your lack own of attention. I dont know if anyone puts any weight into these reviews, but I have find it personally frustrating to read something so contrary to my experiences and to what I know of her. And again I will point to that last review being from anonymous.
