Best OBGYN! Dr Culpepper is straight to the point but listens to all of your concerns and makes plans based on your individual needs. My cesarean was perfect and I couldnt be sadder to no longer be a patient of hers since I moved from DFW.

Dr. Culpepper is amazing. She always makes me feel comfortable and shes super knowledgeable. Shes not pushy at all which I love. HOWEVER, the office staff is pretty horrendous. I can confirm the other reviews are 100% accurate. They made me pay my copay twice during my last visit and when I asked why, they told me it was required and they would refund me after the visit. I ended up getting a refund ($30 less than I should have) 11 MONTHS after the visit. Another time, they took my license and never gave it back. I didnt realize it until I was halfway home. I called them and asked if they would mail it to me since I dont live close by and they refused. It really is unfortunate how great Dr. Culpepper is when the front office is so incompetent. If she wasnt so awesome, I would have switched doctors years ago.

I just read over the reviews for Dr. Culpeppers office, and I could not be in more agreement about the office staff. They are NOT helpful to patients. The first time I made this appointment, I got no confirmation email about the appointment. I had to call them back for them to realize they needed my email/contact information.I came back home this afternoon after being rescheduled for my previous appointment, taking time off of work, and having to navigate the confusing Medical City parking garage/entrances, only to find out that this office DOES NOT TAKE MY INSURANCE. I am in shock and so confused how I was not informed of this earlier.Im new to Dallas, and Im getting married in a month. Ive been long awaiting this appointment. To add insult to injury, I had to pay $1 for parking in the lot for an appointment I never had.If anyone knows any great gynecologists in the area taking new patients, accepts Aetna insurance, and can get me in to an appointment soon, suggestions would be very much appreciated ❤️

EVERY MONTH you put my wife through the ringer claiming a script has been filled and it hasn’t. You then blame our pharmacy. This has been going on for over a year, year after year. Your incompetence is causing us to wonder where other incompetence lies. Totally not in the interest of your customer, your oath, and simple professionalism. No wonder you’re approaching a 3 on a scale of 5. BAD SERVICE

My experience itself with Dr. Culpepper was great. She is quick- gets you in and out and makes you feel really comfortable. But beware of this place if you dont have a top-tier expensive insurance plan. Even if they are in your network, they will try and make you pay money just in case your insurance doesnt cover all of the visit with a promise of a refund that you dont get until maybe a month or two later. But my plan covers well woman at 100%... Felt a little discriminatory if you ask me. Although she is a good doctor from what I can tell, there are too many good doctors in Dallas to be dealing with this every time I go for a check-up.

I love Dr. Culpepper but her staff not so much. Still haven’t received my prescription even though I have called everyday and they say they’ve sent to the Pharmacy. The scheduling person hung up on me. The head nurse never called me back.

I started seeing Dr. Culpepper with my first pregnancy back in 2014. She went on to deliver both of my daughters. She is truly wonderful. She always made me feel very comfortable and safe. I could always get an appointment at a moments notice, and that was very important. I will continue to see her, and recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Culpepper has been my doctor for the past 15 years and I have had nothing but positive experiences with her and her staff. She has personally overseen both of my pregnancies -- shes basically family to me at this point. I recently moved out of state and have had to undertake the impossible task of finding a replacement for her. You will not find a more capable, knowledgeable, patient, and understanding doctor. She is direct and to the point and answers questions thoroughly. I have referred all of my friends and family to her. Shes simply the best of the best.

Terrible customer service. Nurses are argumentative and condescending. Especially office manager, Lisa. I have called multiples times with no returned phone call. It’s extraordinarily frustrating and stressful. There’s no nurses phone line? Dr. Culpepper said I could call her to make any amendments to medications... no one is a help or reassurance during a stressful time.

Dr. Culpepper always goes above and beyond as a physician. Ive been seeing her for 6 years, and she is not only the best OB-GYN Ive ever had, but also one of the best medical professional I know (I work in the medical field). She is caring, thorough, honest, empathetic, and knowledgeable. She was a steadfast caregiver through my 2 pregnancies, one of which had debilitating pain complications. She is an excellent listener, validates my experiences, and allows me to actively participate and guide my plan of care.In the delivery room, she is calm, collected, and assertive. All things that allowed me to focus on my body and labor, while she provided clear directives that led to a successful birth.

Dr. Culpepper is an incredible doctor! I have been her patient two years and will always go to her. I had my first baby 3 months ago. Having her in the delivery room brought so much peace to my husband and I. She is a real pro. Dr. Culpepper is calm and very skilled, especially in the delivery room. She is so knowledgeable, kind, talented, compassionate, positive, and so much more! I was sick the majority of my pregnancy. It helped having a positive doctor encourage me, who has had a rough pregnancy too. Im so grateful I was referred to this practice. She goes above and beyond. I have recommended her to several friends and family members already and will continue to do so. She helped my delivery go much smoother, as well as my care during my pregnancy. The insurance staff helped my husband and I when we had an insurance issue. We have been so happy and pleased with the entire staff. Go see Dr. Culpepper and you wont be disappointed!

Unfortunately, she was the on call OB for my delivery. She was cold, abrasive, and a stress basket in the delivery room. Even the staff around her seemed annoyed. She tried to send me home when contractions were 2.5 minutes apart. I delivered 5 hours later. Sorry, Kelli Culpepper, that I made you deliver at a time that wasn’t convenient for you. As a mother yourself, I would’ve hoped that you would treat patients (yours OR your partners) with compassion during the delivery of their first baby. That was far from the case!

I love the doctors there, just wished who ever answers the phones were more polite and professionals. They dont say how can I help you hell I cant even finished talking about what Im calling for when they rudely interrupt and tell me they need to transfer me to the nurse. I understand maybe they do have to do that but be more kind about it.

During my pregancy I loved going to this practice is was in and out during my lunch breaks and it was fantastic. I am a super healthy young women and it was great. However I went to almost 40 weeks and almost died due to a blood clot that the Drs told me was just swelling. Even though it was only in one leg and I went a week before I lost the ability to walk and called back and was told to avoid salt and take a diuretic. A vein specialist diagnosed a massive blood clot the stretched my whole leg thever following day. It did go to my lungs but luckily I somehow avoid death from a PE. It took me months to recover the ability to walk and normal function and lost valuable time with my newborn. If you value your life please go somewhere else.

I love Dr. Culpepper and her staff! My mother was in a different city and dying from lung cancer during my entire pregnancy, and they went above and beyond to schedule my appointments around my crazy work schedule and traveling to take care of my sick mom. They made sure to answer any and all questions to where I could understand it and I felt such emotional support from Dr. Culpepper during the hardest point of my life. My mom ended up dying 2 weeks before my son was born, and Dr. Culpepper made sure I was comfortable with how we proceeded with my birth plan as it changed. She did a beautiful job on my C-Section, and my recovery was smooth. I cant say enough good things about her, and I recommend her to all of my family and friends. I want her to deliver ALLLL of my babies, however many that may be. Shes the best, and she really cares about her patients physical and emotional health.

All I have to say is that you dont mention cancer to a patient and then have your staff tell the patient that they cannot have treatment for what may or may not be cancer unless the insurance deductible is paid upfront.I went to Dr. Culpepper for a well-woman visit. This was my first time seeing this doctor. When I got there, I was told my co-pay was $40, which surprised me. I was told that Dr. Culpepper was a specialist, which was not indicated on the insurance page, and as such I was going to be charged $40. They told that if the insurance paid 100%, then I would receive a refund. Since I was there and had already taken off work, I was fine.During the visit, I mentioned to Dr. Culpepper that I had some spotting with a change in my thyroid medication. She indicated that this could be a sign of cancer and that I needed to have an ultrasound. Fine.I had blood taken to check my hormone levels and then made an appointment for an in-office ultrasound. I was told I needed to drink 32 ounces of water and given some paper work on what to expect from the ultrasound. As I was driving back to work, I received a generic text message from the doctors office letting me know that all patients have to pay $150 for sonograms. I couldnt understand why I wasnt told about this before hand, so I called and sent an e-mail once I got to work.I received an angry call back from the nurse because I left my message on the wrong line. She told me that all patients have to pay the $150, and this was a policy of the practice. I then asked for a recommendation for where I can go for the sonogram since I didnt have $150 to pay. This made her even angrier, and she said that she would speak to the doctor when she saw the doctor the next week.I also received a terse e-mail from the accounting office. This e-mail explained that the $150 was on the paperwork that I received on how to prepare for the sonogram (I checked, and it is at the bottom in smaller italicized print.). The accounting woman explained that many patients have deductibles to meet, so everyone is charged $150 and refunds occur after insurance payment. My e-mail prompted them to call because they gave me a break down of what I would owe based on my insurance, which should have occurred early on. I was then told how they bill and how billing would occur if I went elsewhere. The writer ended the letter that said that if I felt the charges were unfair, I was free to go elsewhere. If an office charges everyone $150 for a sonogram, then that needs to discussed at the beginning and not via text message. In addition, a doctor should not mention cancer and then the staff tell the patient that care for possible cancer cannot occur until an insurance deductible is met. I understand this is a policy, but this needs to be discussed up front. If someone had said, Oops! Sorry. We forgot to tell me. I would have understood, but when I had two separate office staff go on the attack because I question a payment, this becomes a problem.

I was desperate to see a OBYGN as quickly as possible, I called 3 other Dallas OBGYN offices, but they were all booked for the next couple of weeks. Dr. Kelli Culpepper was able to see me the next day, and now I know why. I wish I would have been patient and waited to see one of the other doctors, because my experience with Dr. Kelli Culpepper was horrible. When I called Dr. Kelli Culpeppers office to schedule my initial new patient office visit, I gave my personal contact information, the reason for my visit, and my insurance information – I asked “how much is an office visit” I was quoted an incorrect price by her front desk staff.Upon receiving my medical statement I realized that I was charged a different price than I was quoted for my office visit, I called Dr. Kelli Culpeppers office and spoke with the office manager, Lisa Lippoldt, I explained to her the situation and asked “why would a member of Dr.Culpeppers staff tell me and charge me one price for an office visit, then bill me a much higher price?” She stated that different office visits have different price ranges & that my insurance wasn’t verified until the end of my office visit therefor they didn’t know how much the visit would be until all the paperwork was submitted.I was never made aware that two different procedures were being performed, I was told by Dr. Kelli Culpepper that I needed a single sonogram. The Sonographer did not communicate to me there was a need to perform two sonograms, she did not let me know when the different sonograms were taking place, nor did she ask if I was okay with having two different sonograms procedures. The same machine and equipment was used the entire time of the sonogram. I believe I was deceived on purpose by Dr. Kelli Culpeppers office.

Ive been going to Dr Culpepper for 13+ years. Ive seen all of the doctors at this practice and she is the best. If you dont like your doctor to give you straight talk, then dont come to Dr Culpepper. She has always been straight forward with me and yet has a great bedside manner especially for those delicate situations. Most ladies dread seeing their OBGYN, but Dr Culpepper makes you feel at ease and gets the job done quickly, accurately and without pain. I see a lot of bad reviews with the office, and I can see how that can be. Ive had bad experiences with some of the people who work there. But its only been a few times and what doctors office hasnt had issues?

Dr. Culpepper is phenomenal! I have had absolutely wonderful experiences with her for my annual womens wellness check up, prescriptions, and even an IUD insertion. She is extremely attentive, honest, caring and GOOD at what she does. I never thought that these procedures and check ups could be as pain-LESS and easy as they were with Dr. Culpepper. She is compassionate and sensitive to your concerns and hesitations as if you are family. I was referred to her by some of my closest friends and definitely am glad that they did.The only reason I couldnt give 5 stars is because I had the most difficult time of my life dealing with the front office and people who answer the phones. It is as if they are just throwing out whatever answer that pops into their head first, regardless of if it causes me AN ENTIRE MONTHS delay in getting my procedure done. Even the office manager had zero sympathy or concern with how much trouble I had. They were unwilling to make the situation right for me and I ended up having to come out of pocket $250 when my insurance repeatedly told me that the expense is covered in full by them and that the Drs office simply had to bill them for reimbursement. The least the office manager could have done is put in a little extra work to go through that process of reimbursement for all the trouble I went through because of her staffs miscommunications to me on the topic. Literally the only reason I forced myself to continue to work it out with them over the course of about 15 phone calls and 32 days total is because of how much I LOVED Dr. Culpepper. Its a love hate relationship with this office but at the end of the day, Dr. Culpepper is the one who helps me comfortably stay healthy and well taken care of!
