They keeping deleting my reviews, so I will keep re posting them. I was told I needed ear wells for my daughters ears and was told I had to make a decision right then or they would not be effective. I made the quick decision to go forward with them and my daughter had an allergic reaction to the ear wells and we were not able to continue treatment. I was NOT offered alternative options , but when I call the office they insist that I was offered additional options. This was most certainly not the case. They gladly took my money, however, and will not work with me on a partial refund. They received payment for a full 6 weeks of treatments and only completed 2 weeks of treatment. Dr. Byrd spent all of 2 minutes with us and we never met with him again after he told us my daughter needed the ear wells. Funny, though, because her ears completely rounded out on their own months afterwards, so the treatment was not even needed in the first place. It seems unethical to me. I do not recommend him under any circumstances ever. Go to childrens if you need ear wells.

I have not had a good experience with Dr Byrd. He did my rhinoplasty years ago- it was wonky right away and he repeatedly said it’ll get better it’s due to swelling even tho one side was collapsed. Time went on I waited at the year mark like he said and then he told me it was too risky to fix. From there, I almost gave up on the aesthetic being what it is. I have experienced a deviated septum and also enlarged turbinites from the rhinoplasty. He offered to fix that, I declined as I was so scared to be put under again and also partly because I don’t necessarily trust him. So more time went on, my breathing issues got worse and I went to an ENT. He was concerned for me as the rhinoplasty did so much damage- this is his opinion- after doing an in office turbinate reduction with the ent my breathing improved slightly. I went to see Dr Byrd, now that I have the courage to see another surgeon to fix the aesthetic and the deviated septum, I went to see Dr Byrd to show him all the issues and ask for some kind of financial return as I now have to pay 20K to get it fixed by a surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty. He declined and even more so, made me feel awful and like he had no fault in the matter. He was always so nice in the beginning. His nurse Lisa too, she was nice at the beginning but as soon as I voiced how strongly I felt and didn’t trust him to operate. They took it personally, rather than looking at the facts. Please don’t go here, I suppose now he is only doing children ear wells.. I have a child and wouldn’t let him operate on him even if this is now his “speciality”. I considered suing but it doesn’t seem worth it, people will always get their karma and I hope he realizes one day that the way I was treated wasn’t right and I will forever be stuck with the damage done by the rhinoplasty. If you would like to hear more or see photos of my nose please email me, I am happy to share [email protected] *note- my name has been changed on here due to protecting my privacy*ALSO- during one of my post ops I went into the photography room for photos and they showed me a book of examples of how to stand and what angles they need. I look at the book and see MY photos. Without consent. The office manager Stephanie rushed to remove them. Huge HIPPA violation.

Years after having broken my nose playing tennis, I was still in pain, insecure about my nose, and unable to breathe easily. After hearing so many good things about Dr. Byrd’s work, I finally made an appointment to see him. I am so glad that I did. In addition to what had to be fixed, I was also seeking some cosmetic work as I felt my nose was too big. I came to Dr. Byrd with photos of what I’d want my nose to look like, and he advised me brilliantly on both the aesthetic side and the technical side of things. He patiently explained to me about what he could do to meet what I wanted, but also what the structural limitations were. He could achieve a look that would make me happy with just a few modifications, without compromising the structural integrity of my nose later on. I was so happy with how much consideration he gave every aspect of the process, and how thorough he was in explaining everything to me. I felt like I was in such good hands with him and his incredible staff who were so accommodating and professional. The day of the surgery, they made me feel completely at ease and I came out of it feeling far better than I had expected to. After surgery, I was only in pain for a few days, and had only minimal swelling and bruising. A month later, I am thrilled with the results – my nose looks beautiful! Thank you to Dr. Byrd and his wonderful staff!!!

For years I have wanted to have both a breast augmentation and a tummy tuck. Ive spent hours of research hoping to find the perfect surgeon. Im please to say that Dr. Byrd is that surgeon. He has such a compassionate heart as well as talent that surpasses his peers. Im only two weeks out from my surgery and already my life has completely changed. My only wish is that more people struggling to find that perfect surgeon could be so lucky to find Dr. Byrd. His entire staff has also made such an impact on me. They are genuine and gentle and have blessed my life. I will forever be grateful for my experience with Dr. Byrd and his wonderful staff.

I cannot be any more positive about this doctor. He spent time explaining everything he was going to do and why. His techniques are very updated. The use of the endoscope in the surgery let to minimum swelling and bruising and what I expect to be some excellent final results.Everyone and I mean EVERYONE at this facility is top rate as far as caring. The head nurse called me after I left and said that she heard that I was going to do some sightseeing but she advised me to just rest so the results wouldnt be hurt. A nurse woke me up every hour on the hour to make sure I had ice packs on to minimize bruising throughout the night. If EVER I needed any similar surgery or wanted to refer a friend to a doctor for a similar face lift, I would not hesitate for a sec to say Dr. Byrd is the man to see.By the way, I flew all the way from Massachusetts to Dallas in 107 degree temps and feel it was well worth it.BRAVO, Dr. Byrd and your commendable staff!! Thanks for the new face!

Ive always wanted to fix the dorsal hump on my nose ever since I was a child. And finally, I found Dr. Steve Byrd who did an excellent job, going even further than my imagination could. He not only fixed the hump, but he made my nose smaller and lifted some of the cartilage on the tip of my nose so that it was more aesthetic. I truly thank Dr. Byrd and the staff who were extremely kind and helpful throughout the procedure.

Dr. Byrd is a genius! Our son was born with misshaped ears, because of his position in utero. Our pediatrician recommended that we see Dr. Byrd because he created the ear well, which helps to reshape a newborns ear. Within six weeks, our son had normal ears, which was unbelievable. The procedure is a non-surgical one and completely painless. Ironically, people now comment how cute his ears are, without knowing what they looked like at birth. We have Dr. Byrd to completely thank for giving our son a normal look when it comes to his ears. I cannot imagine the teasing or bullying he may have faced in the future if his ears had not been corrected-thank you!

I have used Dr Byrd for many years and considered him the best of the best. Unfortunately, he no practices plastic surgery and instead uses lasers. He has literally destroyed my face. He preformed CO2 fractional laser around my nose and mouth and my skin now looks like chopped raw hamburger meat in the area he preformed the procedure a year ago. For months they tried to make me believe that it was my years of smoking that caused serious damage. But I now realize that Dr Byrd’s assistant Lisa new from day one the real cause and they did NOTHING to warn of me against the dangers of lasers after years of Retin-A usage. They advise you to stop using Retin-A two weeks before the procedure. But if someone had been using Retin-A for as many years (20) as I have then don’t go ANYWHERE NEAR A LASER FOR A YEAR prior to laser use. Retin-A thins your skin and lasers — especially the CO2 franctional laser will tear it apart without a hope in hell of correcting anything. The damage is that SERIOUS BURNS comparable to setting your face on fire. My collagen was completely destroyed forever! And THEY KNEW that I had been using Retin-A for 20 years but still encouraged me to PAY THEM TO COMPLETELY DESTROY MY SKIN with a CO2 fractional laser. My life has been COMPLETELY DESTROYED and they are the people that destroyed it. I wake up everyday wanting die after they have horribly disfigured me and they have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to help me fix this.It is my opinion that Dr Byrd is the WORST doctor in the world and I hope his face is disfigured as he has disfigured mine. For the sake of your health, well being and self esteem, run away as fast as you can if these horrible people EVER come near you with a laser. Unless you like looking like raw hamburger meat.

I recently had Rhinoplasty from Dr. Steve Byrd to fix a nose I have hated since I was 10 years old! This was a dream come true for me. To say I was a little nervous would be an understatement, but Dr. Byrd and his staff were quick to answer my questions and concerns. I corresponded with his nurse on several occasions, along with a phone consult with Dr. Byrd. The phone consult was AFTER my initial consultation as I was nervous and really wanted to have him answer more questions. I really think I just wanted to hear his answers out of his mouth...and I am glad i did because it just really put my mind at ease.It has been less than 2 months since my surgery, but my nose is beautiful!!! There is still some swelling, but the great thing is that they told me up front that there would be some swelling for quite some time. They told that I would not see the final results of my rhinoplasty for 1 - 1.5 years. THey told me this several times prior to my procedure - had they told me this AFTER my procedure I think I might be skeptical. But truthfully, everything they have told me is true. Everyday I look in the mirror looking at the beautiful nose he gave me, and excited about the final result I look forward to.I still look like myself - only with a better nose! My parents didnt even notice!
