I do not recommend this place.My wife called for an appointment for out baby that he is teething and has a scary blue cyst. Front desk lady was super nice -the star review for her, (spoiler) dentist deserves 0 star.-The dentist spent literally 12 seconds checking our baby. I tried to get more info/recommendation ... So she checked again (10 seconds), she said he is good. My wife asked about one thing (dont remember the scientific world there), the dentist replied he may get it he may not, seriously!So we were in and out in 2 minutes total.The dentist is horrible, running just after money. Because she can not sell any BS (root canal, filling, cleaning....) to the baby, she got rid of us in 2 minutes.You will never see my face even if you pay me for doing work for me.3Update:We checked with another dentist (real one) in a different office, she answered all our questions and helped. The cyst is not a problem if it doesnt keep growing, and the scientific word turned out to be the mom was sick when the those babys teeth were coming out.So here it is Ideal Dental, learn for free.

It was my first time in a dentist in a couple years and I’ve never felt so comfortable in a public place. The staff are all very friendly and caring. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Where can I begin, first time my husband went in the insurance was not verified then. I had to call and take care of it. Another incident was they took and extra x-ray and I have personally told them not to but the OFFICE MANAGER Said we wont charge you. well we got bill, then called and she told me we normally dont do this but we can write it off. Third time he needed retainers and since it was done in the office it did fall a part and he was told to come back and it can be fixed I called to make an appointment. I was told that is not the case he has to pay for it out of his pocket. This office and all the other offices that they have is all about money and no patient care. Your just a dollar singe.

Ideal Dental of Addison was able to find my insurance information for me which was extremely helpful. They are also very competitively priced for the initial exam and X-ray, as well as for paint-on fluoride.The hygienist was very friendly and helpful, and Dr. Emily Benton was incredibly gentle and great. Great experience for something we all loathe having done!

Noticed my front tooth was a little sensitive to temperatures this morning. Checked which places nearby were part of my network, did a quick call and they were able to book me for a check up an hour later. Wow, quick! I came in and everyone was ultra friendly and helpful. Ended up doing a semi-annual clean with them, fully covered by insurance, no issues and found nothing severe either. The experience was as smooth as it gets. Thanks all!

Today I had the most exceptional experience. Actually it’s not the first time. The entire staff is warm, pleasant, thorough. They explain everything from treatment to billing. They never try to overcharge me. They are ready for me when I get there... I couldn’t askfor a better experience. And I am not a fan of the dentist. But they make the experience exceptional.

After years of avoiding the dentist out of fear, an emergency led me to see Dr. Benton. That first experience, while far from fun,, was so much better than I ever would have imagined - and it made me feel comfortable to finally start addressing all the dental work Id ignored for so long. More visits than I can count later, Im a few weeks away from being able, finally, to just smile, with no self- consciousness, and it feels amazing. I ❤❤❤ Dr. Benton and her dental assistant, as they are so kind and have truly made my life better by giving me back my confidence. The office staff is also great, and I would recommend them without reservation!

Office is so clean and well taken care of. The staff was great. I went in not knowing that I’d have to get a root canal. The dentist took time to explain the procedure to me and made sure I felt as comfortable as possible the entire time. I’m happy I switched to Ideal Dental!

Scheduled an appointment for the next day when I called. I was told that new patient paperwork would be emailed to me so I could have it filled out before I came in. I didnt get the email until after 7pm and there was nothing in the attachment. I get to my appointment on time and fill out the paperwork on an iPad. It took about 15 mins I sat that another 15 to be called back. They took another 30 minutes doing x-rays and then the dentist came in for a min. The hygententist then poked in my gums for another few minutes and wrote up a treatment. She said that I would have to come back for treatment/ cleaning because they didnt have time to do it. I had already been there for an hour and now youre telling me that I have to come back. That was the whole reason for my appointment to get a cleaning. This was really unacceptable. Now Im calling the insurance company to see if Im able to find another dentist and can get my x-rays from them.

Very nice staff. Especially deidra. They didnt explain anything about my Xrays, so Idk whats up with My teeth. The dentist asked me if I wanted my fully erupted wisdom teeth removed since they have cavities. With my lack of knowledge I said okay.I later did research and learned that if my wisdom teeth arent bothering me, I might not need to unnecessarily disturb them . Im not saying she was wrong, I just wish she explained why other than the fact they have cavities.Ive been to the dentist plenty of times before and Im concerned that they didnt explain to me about periodontist disease or where Im at currently in regards to my gum and bone healthOverall, very friendly staff which is why im giving them a 4. But If Deidre hadnt been there, it might have been a 3.. Ill return for my 3 week follow up, but I might switch dentist afterwards. Id like to know more about my problem areas and be proactively told what I need to do or where Im at currently.

I typically go to the ideal dental in uptown, but now live in Addison and saw a clinic down the street from where I live. I had a great experience working with this dentistry. Everyone was very polite, courteous, professional. I could tell they really wanted to help me and weren’t just trying to tack on procedures for extra money. I will definitely be returning!

Ideal Dental of Addison is my primary Location and I love the great experience and the customer service is impeccable. Stephanie always does a great job getting my appointments and follow ups scheduled. Also Stefanee is always another great one, her attention to detail and customer service 👏 is immensely appreciated. Emily is great dentist and goes into detail 😬 👌 and ensures that you are taking care of your teeth and cleanings. Great place if you dont have a Dentist.

Changing my review. This place over billed me & everytime I call its the same thing. They say, we just received the last payment from your insurance & we will put in a request for a refund. They told me this a month ago! They want payment up front but dont want to give back refunds due! I wont be back to this place! I will find somewhere else to go for dental work!

The offices are clean, the staff was very nice and professional and my teeth were cleaned leaving me with no doubts.

I did not want to pay for scaling but wanted a cleaning. They refused to give me a cleaning and I believe they are simply trying to increase their revenue. My insurance would cover all they wanted to do but because I would not do what they wanted they would not perform the cleaning. I have never had a Dentist office treat me this way I have had my teeth cleaned every six months all my life and never had anyone say they would refuse a cleaning. This is after I had a cleaning 7 months ago and two fillings and two crowns. I also refused X-rays given just did them multiple times both at my appt 7 months ago and after each crown. Once a year is good enough in my mind Going to another Dentist

I had a great experiences in Ideal Dental of Addison. The receptionist was so sweet and accommodating. Staff and doctor are very friendly and professional. I love my dentist , I felt comfortable and safe in her care, she goes into detail and ensures that you are taking care of your teeth and cleanings.

Love that they ask for a mouthwash and a hand clean before you can go in. They also do a temp check but the stuff is nasty. Worth it though when you need your tooth fixed during a pandemic! Be sure to let them know if something wasnt right. They usually get to making it right.

I live out of town and had an issue that needed an emergency visit. People on the phone and front desk are very nice and helpful. Doctor didnt even say thank you or goodbye and, honestly, showed zero empathy for my situation. First and last time to visit these folks.

This was my first visit to Ideal Dental and everyone was pleasant from the time I walk in until I left.

My second visit was not so great! Okay the staff was superb especially Stephanie! She is the best! I had 2 teeth extracted with insurance, the price was affordable! I would have given this visit 5 stars but my normal dentist Dr. Benton was out. My tooth was in pain, inflamed and infected. I was seen by MD Melody Basta, big mistake I should have waited for DR BENTON! Ms. Basta was heavy handed and rough with my extraction. I asked her if It would be a good idea to get antibiotics and come back and she said no. I trusted what she said, but after roughly removing my broken tooth She did not even give me any ibuprofen or simple pain meds! I’m in so much pain right now! Lesson learned stick with your normal doctor even if your tooth is hurting you! Stephanie was so caring and helpful but that heavy handed MD Basta needs to practice bring more gentle!

This place is amazing. The office staff is nothing but patient and do everything possible to assist. Only issue Ive ever had in the 3 years Ive been coming here was with a sub dentist that was there while the main dentist was on vacation. They took care of that immediately. Seriously, best office ever.

The staff always had safety first in mind. They quickly got me in but made sure I would have the 6 feet needed. The equipment was properly sterilized and I only had to take my mask off for x-rays and exam. The doctor was quick in response and helpful by answering any questions I had. I would absolutely recommend this facility.

Worst experience ever. While I was having a crown done. The dentist and her assistant would not stop talking about their hobbies their favorite restaurants... while my mouth is open for a whole 2 hours. They would literally stop working on my crown to finish their conversation. At one point I asked her assistant about how long would it take to finish and she replied that she doesnt know. No compassion. All what this place care about is taking your money. I was planning on having an implant next month... not anymore

The best hands down! I was seen by DR. Benton and Stephanie, they were AMAZING! Im a mother of 7 and Im always at the dentist with my children so I have not been to a dentist for a few years now. My childrens teeth are perfect but not mine. Anyway, My tooth cracked and I needed a root canal completed. They saw me on short notice, had a clean office, they both were SUPER POLITE and I didnt feel a thing! They had angel hands. Lol. They had flexible payment plans to make things even better! They have found a loyal customer! Thank you for understanding and being kind!

D the hygienist is freikin amazing. Im terrified and have the most sensitive teeth ever! The deep cleaning was more than comfortable! She was so nice and patient with me and it honestly barely hurt. Dr. Emily Benton is one of the best dentists I have ever had in my life (and Ive had a lot of work done)! I immediately trusted her and felt very safe and comfortable in her care. She was professional, funny, and clearly knowledgable in her field. Nate was also very helpful and attentive to whatever I needed. Extra shoutout to the receptionist for having an awesome attitude.The entire suite took all Covid precautions seriously. Would highly recommend coming to this location for all your dental needs.

Not a good place to go if you have children. Took my 3 girls her and we were they for over 4 hours. They took 2 hours to do my daughters one cavity. They kept stopping and going to other patients, leaving my daughters mouth open the whole time. My daughters mouth was sore after this. When the dentist and assistance were working on her teeth,they keep talking about personal things to each other.

I love Ideal Dental of Addison! The front desk girls are always so kind and accommodating when I walk in, I felt welcome right away on my first visit. The hygienists are friendly and helpful, Brandon was especially gentle while cleaning my teeth and taking my x-rays. Dr. Holmes is so knowledgeable and personable with his patients! I had a great experience at Ideal Dental in Addison! I hadnt been to the dentist in a couple years and was fairly new to the adult world of having insurance and making your own appointments. At Ideal Dental, they made me feel comfortable and walked me through the whole process. I got to watch TV while they cleaned my teeth, and with a promotion they were running, I was able to get free teeth whitening done in under an hour. The employees were super friendly and my appointment was quick and painless. Will definitely come back and refer others!
