In love with this location! I travel back and forth between LA and Dallas and I must say the Dallas locations are top-notch and very well kept and tidy. They are constantly cleaning the machines and common areas and making sure everything is sanitized. All of their staff, trainers, and coaches are wonderful. From their Kiehl’s products in the changing rooms and showers to their eucalyptus towels, everything is pretty amazing and worth every penny. This is a gym that makes you WANT to get up and go work out.

So far excellent customer service. Constantly cleaning up areas. Very good vibes. I will continue to post here if things changes.Price: I think it is reasonable for what they provide. I was going to another gym with almost zero amenities and was costing me 140-150 per month.Cons: It is getting very crowded and sometimes you can’t find a locker or parking if short in time. Swimming pools with only two lanes and is shallow. If you are looking for cheaper place May I suggest YMCA facilitates (very underrated) which has a lot of similar amenities with classes, excellent swimming pool, customer service and price is 25% of what you pay here. Different venues have different facilities.

Top notch facility. Professional staff. Equipment always in best working conditions. Big fan of the pandemic cleaning procedures above and beyond any other health club. It’s a classy place. They have a great variety of machines to spice up supersets with. Their classes are amazing. The Equinox+ app is the cherry on top. What else can I say?

During this tough time with no water due to the weather ( Im fortunate power is back on) I called to ask if I can pay to use the facility to take a shower. Id bring all my own product, I just need water. I am an Executive for a company here in Dallas. The receptionist was very nice and talked to her Manager. The response was No, because they are a private facility. Hows that for helping out the community? Now I understand the bad on line reviews stem from Management creating that culture. Thanks for nothing.

Equinox Lite - This gym is very basic, no frills. Not a ton of machines. It is clean, and they do a good job with the upkeep. The locker room feels cramped, tiny lockers, no sauna, no hot tub, no lounge area to cool down. The steam room is tiny and there is a bottle of eucalyptus oil you can spray, smh.Lifetime Fitness, Verandah Club, Cooper Clinic are all superior options.3/5 stars - not horrible, but not worth the membership fees, imo.

Great facility, large and spacious, with dedicated spaces for yoga, cycling, boxing, Pilates, floor classes, and pool. Of course all the equipment you could ask for, and all in a well-lit space with plenty of windows.People of all types share the facility. Old, young, serious lifters, rookies, college athletes, you name it.Locker rooms are well-appointed. Plenty of lockers. Showers are available, but steam is waiting for COVID clearance.Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.Pricey, but a first-rate facility.

I had the pleasure to be onboarded by membership advisor Allison Mielke at the Highland Park location in Dallas. Allison is professional, welcoming and inclusive. My initiation was fun, including a club and spa tour. I recommend this club to young professionals searching for a premium club or spa experience in The Dallas area. Request Allison “Milky” Mielke for the 5 star experience.

Im currently a member of another top tier gym in the area. My wife and I recently moved, literally stones away from the Equinox entrance. Hence, I decided to tour the facility yesterday (and perhaps get motivated to actually switch one of these days). Allison Mielke, the membership advisor gave me an excellent tour. I realize she is a sales professional but she did a great job presenting features and benefits of why Equinox is one of the premier gyms in the area. Her follow up skills are top notch - She just dialed me earlier, not to put pressure to sign a contract, but say thank you for touring the facility. I did my research and outside of the shallow reviews about staff not meeting expectations, Id say check yourself in the mirror. In life, youll typically get what you put in. And If I didnt belong to another top notch gym and treated so well, I wouldve joined yesterday. Just like anything else, Equinox is not heaven, staff will have bad days sometimes, broker equipments happen, and yes parking issues, but heck this is uptown! But if youre accustomed to first class fitness facility in this area. Id highly recommend checking it out. Call Allison, youll be impressed.

I was so excited to join this gym and am so disappointed with the experience. The membership, tax included is $191 monthly, my expectation was this gym would be well maintained. Cost doesnt equal quality in this case. Broken machines are the norm, not the exception. The manager is unresponsive, I have been waiting for a return call for 3 days now - I am not expecting itEquinox inaccurately charged by account $120, I brought it to their attention 5 seconds after the transaction hit my bank account. They could not void the transaction and it is not 3 days, I still dont have my refund. I just filed a dispute with my bank, as well as spoke with their corporate office - the credit, although the transaction was their mistake was just approved today. Perhaps if the Highland Park management cared about my experience, they would have followed up with the corporate office to remedy the matter and because it was their mistake, do whatever it took to make the refund happen timely. Very disappointing and yes I decided I will be quitting. Shame on the management staff, the equinox logo, Its not for everyone. It is definitely not for me, I expect for $200 a month a gym would cause me less stress, this one just adds to it. My customer experience was horrible with this gym. Join if you like to be frustrated.

Equinox Fitness in Dallas has been an extreme disappointment in terms of their customer service and responsiveness to theft in their building. I would not recommend this gym to anyone and discourage people from joining.Last night, I went to Equinox Highland Park after work. An hour later I returned to the women’s locker room to find (what was previously a locked locker with my belongings in it) an unlocked locker that was completely empty. I immediately reported it to the front Desk and Assistant Manager, who began to help me check every other locker to ensure that I “didn’t forget which locker the bag was in”. After determining the bag and everything in it was gone, I completed an incident report and asked them to help me file a police report. They gave me the phone number for Dallas police and said “you can call them or file the report online yourself”. I then called the police myself, and the police graciously came to help me on the equinox property. After a sweet police officer assisted me, I go back inside to ask for a copy of the equinox incident report, and was given an unsigned copy. I then asked to have the manager sign it and then make me a copy...I was then told “we aren’t allowed to give you a copy of the incident report”.The next 3.5 hours were spent sitting by my car (to ensure it wasn’t broken into or stolen because the locker thief had my car key too), in the heat of the parking deck...by myself, with no offer of water, a ride to my house, or even a security guard to come wait with me. The customer service that I experienced from the equinox staff after a significant amount of my personal belongings were stolen was horrific and utterly unbelievable. I cannot in good faith go back to that gym, knowing that my belongings in my locker are not safe and secure, or that my car is safe in the parking deck, knowing that one of their staff members has my car keys. And this is supposed to be a high-end gym in Highland Park (which is also false because it’s in Dallas City limits)?!

I toured Equinox early last week and was note impressed, especially for the cost. I have no issue spending $175/per month if the gym is worth it. A lot of the equipment is outdated, the layout was very weird and my sales rep wasnt the most friendly of the bunch. It has been over a week and I have not received any sort of follow up from her (but shes called my husband even though I made it clear that I am the reason we are looking). The only good thing that came out of this tour is I realized how much nicer Life Time Fitness is and its HALF of the price. Also, I heard there is zero choreography in their spin classes which pretty much sealed the deal for me. I was very excited to tour this property and am so disappointed in how disappointed I was.

EFF THIS GYM.The parking situation here is ATROCIOUS. If you go in the evening between 5 and 7pm, forget even getting INTO the parking lot. They share an area with the seafood place next door and between the gym traffic and the valet, you literally cant even pull into the parking facility.Unfortunately, I have to between 8 and 10pm to even get a spot. So, I cant go when I want to go.I originally signed-up here to attend the group yoga classes. Again, IF you can get a spot (be ready to show up 30 minutes early to get one!). Even then, be ready to have someones foot/arm in your face. The classes themselves are horrible due to the tremendous heat in the classroom. Youll swear EVERY yoga class is a hot yoga class. I cannot get through a class because my mat is so slicked with sweat that I cant properly hold the poses (sorry for the gross image).I mentioned it to a girl at the front desk. I said, It is WAY too hot in that yoga room. I think the air system isnt working correctly. Her response was, Got it. As in, I dont care, Im waiting for you to get out of my face.So I tried the machines. Theyre fine. But Im squeezed into such a narrow window of time that Im rarely in the mood to work out AT THAT PARTICULAR TIME. And its not what I really want to do - Id prefer to have the classes. And you have to be ready to play musical chairs if you want any machine. Sometimes you have to wait.I cant speak to the showers and all that. You cant even get one because of all the overcrowding. In fact, youll spend most of your time here dealing with waiting for someone else to:- Get out of a parking spot- Get off a machine- Get out of a shower- Get out of your way in generalThere needs to be some sort of capacity control here, because its to the point where its unpleasant and unsafe to deal with.Oh and the people that work out there are all a-holes. But you knew that already.I only regret Im locked into this terrible gym for another 9 months. Will NOT renew. Stay far away - there must be better gyms in Dallas than this.

JUST HORRIBLE.I was a member almost since the club opened 6+ years ago. I recently cancelled it. The experience at this club has deteriorated dramatically.Parking is a serious problem. The valets for the restaurant next door have turned the parking area into a hazard zone. The neighborhood around the club is crammed with traffic at certain key times of the day.The classes are a pain to get into and nearly always booked solid in my experience, making them pretty much worthless. The swimming pool is TINY and one can spend a long time waiting for a lane. The club closes for DAYS AT A TIME for special events, INCLUDING one today through tomorrow for some promotional cycling event. Seriously, theyre locking their PAYING members out for DAYS to promote themselves at an event that takes over the club?I can go on and on. The locker rooms/wet areas used to be impeccably clean. Now there are HOLES in the lockers and I got a nasty virus on the foot from walking in the wet area. They move the machines around without warning and for no apparent reason, forcing me to hunt down the machine I want way more often than Id like. The front desk staff waste members time by not being at the front desk, or chit-chatting with each other when members need to scan their card to get in. Ask them any question and they will respond with I dont know or Ill let the manager know when he/she returns (no they wont). In order to cancel my membership I had to try to meet a manager FOUR TIMES, twice over the phone, and exchange at least 6 emails before they finally processed my cancellation. I felt like they gave me the runaround and tried to sell me on staying, and delaying. And Im a longtime member; I can only imagine how they treat new members who are still on a contract. This place used to be worth the price. Now I wouldnt go here even if it was free. There are other excellent gyms available in the area, and Im extremely happy with my new membership at Telos once I finally left Equinox after nearly 6 years. Anyone considering Equinox should take a look at other gyms in the area first before committing, in my opinion.

Very disappointed with my visit to the facility and this companys severe lack of response thereafter. Initially I walked into this gym to merely inquire about membership pricing. Not only was pressure placed on me to get membership then and there despite repeated statements that my visit was an inquiry only, but the membership representative became rude with me when they saw I was politely not budging. When I privately emailed and phoned Equinox, I was informed Id receive a response in regards to this matter providing both my phone number and email address but no one from the company responded to this rather unpleasant experience. Hence this public Google Review. There are indeed other gyms with not only more affordable pricing, but much better customer service than what I recieved from this company.

Ive thoroughly enjoyed my time as a member at Equinox for the past 3 years. The experience is definitely more like being a member at a club than a gym. The other members are very nice, approachable, and social. This is not the type of place where you run into a bunch of meat heads or gym rats. The group classes are diverse, frequent, and intense. The staff is fanatical about keeping equipment, floors, bathrooms clean and germ free. And the club is CONSTANTLY performing MAJOR upgrades -- most recently the flooring in the stretching area, adding a ton of new weights and machines, a complete remodel of the spin class including brand new bikes and a sound system, a new cafe, and the list literally just keeps going on and on. If you are willing to pay a little more for an experience that is much more than a sweaty gym, then this is your place.
