I recently refinanced my car with Texans Credit Union and had a great experience. Ivan was extremely helpful and answered all of my emails and texts almost immediately. He made the process very simple and straightforward. I will definitely be going back to Ivan for any future lending needs.

I recently had my purse stolen and had to open all new accounts and came to my banking center to get a new debit card. Apparently the thief was just there trying to use my drivers license to cash a check. The teller Poonam caught there was something odd so asked my security questions which she answered all wrong! So the teller did not cash the check or return my id which Im so thankful of! Im also happy I just authenticated myself but got my new debit card but also my license 🙏🏼

My name is Brandon and on election Day Nov 3 2020, after Texans went through a major upgrade of their system and were unexpectedly closed when I came on Saturday...I showed up around 4:50pm and they closed at 5pm with a huge line of cars...I just wanted to give a shout out to Mariela. She waited and served me with patience, passion, and gratitude until 5:45 after each and everyone of the cars went through! Thanks Mariela, Godbless and I hope you get a raise. Texans needs to know they have great employees like you! Take care ; ).

Lauren White has probably just made me a Texans CU customer for life. What an absolutely incredible branch manager and HUMAN. She answered ALL of my questions, explained everything in a way that I could understand without making me feel dumb, and she went way above and beyond to make the loan process as easy for me as humanly possible. I spent a lot of my life moving around, from city to city and using different banks and credit unions. Ive used Texans for all of my banking needs for the past 12 years, since I moved to Dallas. Ive had an auto loan from them for about 4 years now and have had no issues. The app is pretty easy to use for the payments. I recently got my mortgage from them (first time home buyer). I heard all kinds of horror stories from coworkers. They were being questioned and hassled by lenders, but I did not have that experience at all with Texans. In the middle of a pandemic, everyone affiliated with Texans seemed to be patient and knowledgeable with my questions and with me. Their security seems to be spot on as well. I made an online purchase, about a year ago, where I tried to buy a product from a third party company. That company tried to charge me three separate times. Texans halted the payments and called me immediately. The purchase was only for around $50. All in all, Texans has been pretty consistent and everything I could ask for in a banking institution. Im just a customer. I got online to check their Saturday hours and read some of the negative comments. It made me feel like I needed to post my experience. I pay my bills, manage my money through their app and have had nothing but pleasurable experiences with them.

Every time I go to Texans on Forest, Rebecca wins for being the most hospitable! She makes me feel right at home and takes care of all my banking needs with humor and a smile! I recommend Texans to all people from DFW and you better hope you get Rebecca at the teller window! 🤪

UPDATE: I received a call from a member of the management team, today. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and seriously she took my concern and offered clear explanations and methods to be taken to help prevent this in the future. It was unexpected and I was quite frankly impressed. As a result, Im updating my rating to a 5 star because that level of customer response is exactly what represents a 5 star experience and I believe that good changes are being made. Thanks!I routinely wait 5 minutes or longer to even be acknowledged, once I send a simple loan payment in, at the drive through. I dont understand why this bank is so unbelievably slow and I mean slow, consistently. Once in a while...ok, maybe they are slammed with customers on the inside but this happens nearly every time. No one else in the drive through and its painfully slow. Common sense business would have someone at least acknowledging the customer and that they have received their transaction, on the inside, and then perhaps thank them for their patience, if they are truly that busy. I suspect poor training, lack of urgency and perhaps lack of management are the root cause here. I used to be a teller at a bank and the type of loan payments I routinely come in to process, I could pop through the system in about 15 seconds.

So my mother had only 50 bucks in her account and had not touched it for years. For 11 months, until she passed away last week, she fought to stay alive.I received a letter about her money going back to the state (which I understand as I work at a very large financial institution).So I took my financial power of attorney (which I had every power imagine) to their branch to move her money into her BOA account if they could cut me a check.. they said no and that she needed to sign another form. My mom could not sign anything.. mind youThey don’t me don’t worry you showed up in person and we will make sure it doesn’t go anywhere..Fast forward 2-3 months and my mother passed.. well I call them to get a check cut and it has been sent to the state with no notes attached..If they are this incompetent with a simple task, a simple account, do you honestly trust them with your money?!You shouldn’tThe level of hell that would break lose if one of my assistants had done this would be harsh..

Nik at the Preston Forest location was fantastic! He expressed wonderful customer service and was able to get me approved for an auto loan and the check in the space of a few hours! He went above and beyond my expectations of a credit union. I highly recommend this credit union.

HORRIBLE and SLOW CUSTOMER SERVICE, especially by Megan at the Forest Ln branch. I have made my car payment the same way for years and today she decided I had to pay with CASH. WHAT IN THE ACTUAL..?!?! I expected an apology at the very least for the inconvenience, but she never even looked me in the eyes. Very Disappointing and VeRY RuDE!! Plus, they take forever to do anything. Your time is not valuable to them - Go somewhere that will appreciate your hard earned money.

I left Wells Fargo for these Einsteins.... man did I make a huge mistake... they pulled one of Wells Fargo moves...I bounced a check (yeah I know its my own damn fault...) only to log on and see a total of 3 nsf fees when it only shouldve been one. Megan neeed her broomstick permit revoked!!! She and just about everyone there has a DGAS attitude!!!Im done with them!!! They need to go flip burgers at McDonalds for a living!!! Totally unprofessional.
