Had a very nice 1st experience at Sparrow House. Definitely would give 5 stars if it wasnt for their cancellation policy, which I openly signed. However, I scheduled my 2nd appointment verbally during my 1st session. I forgot about it since it was 2+ weeks later and was reminded 10 minutes before the appointment from a credit card notification. Sparrow House does NOT call, text, or email you to confirm appointments. Ive never visited an office that doesnt try to contact you 24+/- hours before and was charged for a full appointment.

I came here for almost 6 months--I cant speak for everyone, as I only saw Jessica Taylor. But overall, I just felt like she treated counseling like a hobby instead of a profession. She would cancel/change times on me last minute very consistently. Her latest reason was because she got last minute tickets to a Baylors game... extremely unprofessional. However, she was very kind and I know she wanted to help. At first, it was nice to have someone I could open up to and listen to me. But after awhile, I wanted some feedback... but all she did was listen. I wanted some strategies, goals, ways to improve myself. But she never gave me any. So, after I found a new LPC, I texted Jessica to respectfully let her know that I had found someone new and thanked her for all she did for me. That was almost two weeks ago. And she NEVER. REPLIED. How incredibly unprofessional, especially when working in the mental health field. I am shocked and felt compelled to leave a review.

Excellent care and a solid group of caring, empathetic providers that help children, adolescents, and adults. As a psychiatrist I have referred many, many patients to this place and have always been delighted to see the genuinely positive therapist-patient alliances that develop. Very professional.

A warm place with caring and wise staff. You will solid Bible-based counsel here! Highly recommend!
