I was unsatisfied with the shape of my tooth when I got my veneer done on my front tooth. It was disappointing because I went to one of the top cosmetic dentists in my area. Any dentist will tell you a veneer on a single front tooth is a tough job. Dr Ron Katyal went above and beyond spending time with me consulting and understanding my vision of what I wanted. He could see exactly what I was unhappy with and fixed it to my liking. The truth is many other dentists (Including the one I went to) can’t see what he sees. I cannot recommend Dr. K and his team enough! They were so accommodating, kind, and gentle. I am very embarrassed about my teeth and they were incredibly comforting and nonjudgmental. I contacted the office looking for an emergency appointment and they found a way to fit me in and get me in and out of the office as quickly and painlessly as possible. I had to have a wisdom broken out and I felt NOTHING! I was able to return to work at a preschool just 2 hours later. Hi, like a lot of others, I do not like going to the dentist. I can truthfully say that when I visit Dr. Kay, I actually enjoy the experience. He is concerned about ypur well-being, the quality of his work and over all comfort of your experience in the chair. He is very informative with what he is going to do or what he needs to do for next steps if you have a return visit. He makes sure that you understand fully what he needs to do and is willing to go the extra mile for your comfort and care. On a scale of 1 to 10, he is off the charts. Absolutely the best and I’ve been going to this office and it’s previous two owners since I moved to Dallas in 1973. It takes me a while to trust a new dentist but Dr. K put me at ease immediately

Fantastic experience. I had a broken tooth I had to get pulled. It procedure was painless and smooth. I was ready to teach my class that evening, and Dr K even called to do a follow up and see how I was doing the next day. Dr.Katyal is an amazing guy. He is the kind of dentist that you dread going to- solely for the fact that you know you will have to keep your mouth open like a horse in front of him.I’ve had extremely bad luck with my teeth. Only about a year after i had gotten my braces off at 18 I suffered a bad fall which chipped my front two teeth, and later down the line caused them both to darken. Before I went to Dr. Katyal, I got one tooth root candled, got them both bonded, and then ended up getting 2 crowns put on that didn’t look or match with what my teeth had looked like before. Even after all of the time and money I had spent on my teeth they looked awful, my gums were constantly infected due to how sharply the crowns were cut, and I had basically accepted the fact that I would never really like my smile again.I went to Dr.Katyal to redo my crowns and he went above and beyond. He used old images of mine to construct teeth that looked exactly like the ones I was born with. He got my crowns made 3 times, if they came back from the lab less than perfect he would send them back. When I finally got my crowns put on they looked exactly like I wanted to- natural and as if they were the teeth that I was born with.He’s funny, charming, kind, and the kind of perfectionist that anyone would want working on their teeth. I would recommend him to anyone, because if all dentist’s were like him I think everyone would actually enjoy going to them.

He was using out of date numbing agent and didn’t believe me that I could feel everything.Actual review: Everyone here is amazing! From front desk to hygienist to scheduling and billing everyone is so friendly and professional. I just got a crown and filling and I felt nothing! I got to watch Stranger Things as they worked on my teeth. I am happy to report I didn’t have a panic attach like I did at the last dentist I went to. I felt so comfortable and well taken care of.I cannot wait to go for the crown in 2 weeks and I’m super excited for my cleaning in November.If you need a dental office you can go find the cheapest or you can find the best. So Dr. Jacobs was my dentist for like 16yrs and then Dr. K took over. Naturally, I figured if Dr. Jacobs trusted Dr. K to take over his practice, then I should trust him with my dental care. I have not been disappointed. Dr. K has a great personality, cares about his clients, and, most importantly, knows what he is doing. Im confident my dental care for the next 16yrs+ will be superb.

I was overdue for a cleaning and the dental hygienist Beverly was AMAZING and made me feel at ease throughout the entire visit. I originally came in for treatment of TMJ and Dr. K has lots of experience dealing with patients with the same issue. He was so helpful and made sure I understood the process of the treatments and answered each question I had thoroughly. Aurora did my scheduling and insurance, and she is an expert! I had a visit on Tues and Thurs and both were great experiences. I was early for both appointments and they took me back and started my visit almost immediately both times. I am very pleased that Dr Katyal is my dentist. He is an extremely skilled dentist and very honest and trustworthy. He performed my dental implant procedure in 2014. I had a difficult extraction because the tooth was cracked. Dr. K was very careful and successfully removed the broken tooth. He also did a wonderful job in placing the implant. While recognizing everyones pain thresholds are different, I experienced no pain during and after the procedure. Also, the staff were very professional and extremely friendly. Dr. Katayl is the best dentist Ive EVER been to and will continue using him and his amazing friendly, caring staff! Ive had 2 different visits for tooth extractions, and the assistant I believe her name is Aurora, but she was so kind to me both times! She even gave me a cozy blanket so i could relax AND let me listen to metallica on the Sirius radio they have during the extractions! Dr. K is extremely amazing at what he does, hes very comforting and quick! He listens and explains everything thoroughly so i knew how to care for my extraction sites, and was just so sweet! Dr. K pulled my wisdom teeth. I was so nurvous and worried about the procedure. I was awake for the entire surgery and I went to work that same night. He did an amazing job! I had zero swelling! No one could tell I had them pulled!

I came to Dr K by MISTAKE thinking I had a scheduled appointment. There are several dentist in the area. The staff was so great they even helped me find the office in which I had my appointment, but once I got there they were not friendly and frankly did not have me on the calendar but in their system. File folders were stacked everywhere and a gloomy waiting area. I immediately left and returned to Dr K. where the staff was warm and friendly. They did not see me that day but it was the best mistake Ive ever made. Dry K is a young doctor but has traditional dental office. Shout out to Bev, Auora and Mona for helping Dr K meet my dental needs you guys are the best at what you do!

Was referred to Dr. Katyal through another friend of mine who went there. Great dentist and really professional in explaining what you need to get done and recommending something that is needed vs. overselling.

As a loyal patient of Dr. Katyals predecessor, I was at first apprehensive when I arrived to my appointment to meet a new dentist. I was quickly assured by the staff that Dr. Katyal was at least as good a dentist as Dr. Jacobs. I have had several regular appointments since. Dr. Katyal is conservative - he is not one to perform unnecessary procedures (I have learned that some dentists will sell you work you dont need). He is a skilled practitioner. In addition to the science required to be an outstanding dentist, he has the skill and attention to detail of a sculptor.I have since learned to know Ron on a somewhat personal level. He is personable and well-rounded, with impressive skills and interests outside dentistry. You will like him, and definitely trust his abilities as your dentist.

Everyone at Premier Smiles is friendly and professional. I called and made an appointment to remove a wisdom tooth that was starting to bother me. I had always heard how painful it was from my friends who have had theirs removed so I wasnt looking forward to this appointment. I was surprised when I didnt feel a single needle or any pain while Dr. Katyal removed the tooth. The appointment was at 10am and I was able to meet my friends later that night. They couldnt believe I had surgery earlier in the day. Dr. Katyal is very professional and caring about his work and patients.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr Katyal. When I found out that I had to have one of my wisdom teeth removed, I was very nervous. From the start, everything went very well. His office staff was very nice from the setting of the initial appointment to the morning of my appointment. I felt at ease right away. Dr Katyal was very thorough in explaining what he was going to do and I was surprisingly calm as a result. The actual procedure was over before I knew it and I was comfortable the entire time. Dr Katyal took his time going over aftercare and answered all of my many questions. He even called to check on me afterwards. That was a nice touch and so rare these days! I had virtually no pain afterwards and very little swelling. This is a true testament of Dr Katyals skill. I highly recommend Dr Katyal as a dentist or to have your wisdom teeth removed. I went into the procedure very anxious and I had the best experience at this office.
