Great personel great service

Money milking business. Cracked my neck a couple times ,told me what part of my spine and pelvis was out of line. Told me to come back 80times,, dont feel any better,, all for $39.

I stopped into this location because I was in the area for work. The doctor was really a jerk. He treated me like a second-class citizen because I could not afford to be adjusted more often. Also when I asked him to use a certain technique that many other doctors have used with success to relieve my headaches, he refused and gave me a lecture about that also.

I normally visit the office in Santa Monica (highly recommended), but I was working out in Playa Vista so I swung thru. Now, I am one of those terrible people who show up at the last minute to everything from flights to funerals, so I get it, but the chiropractor wasnt even around anymore when I arrived before closing 😅I guess I will stay in Santa Monica.

I was having tightness and discomfort in my neck and shoulder blades and the doctor was able to relieve a lot of that tension. After having the adjustment that takes only 5 minutes, I have a better range of motion and less tension.

This location is my absolute favorite! The chiropractors are beyond exceptional, talented and knowledgeable of their craft. I joined as a member a few months ago and have been coming in weekly ever since. The front desk receptionists are always so kind and accommodating.Quick reliable service, tailored care and a friendly staff. What more could you ask for ? I highly recommend the joint.

As other reviewers have commented Dr. Hem is fantastic. She is thorough, remembers your individual issues and tailors treatment to your needs. I have also seen Dr. Devin on a few occasions and he is also super knowledgeable. Like with any treatment the more frequently you go, the better you will feel. The staff is also sweet, I usually see Raven -- she is always very kind and helpful. You cant go wrong with either doctor at The Joint in Culver City -- and their support staff is always pleasant.

I’ve been a member of the joint for close to 10 years. Seen many chiro’s all over the country because of my travel schedule. I personally haven’t had any sour front desk experiences from any locations state to state until I came here. Always a dry energy when I check in and whoever the female receptionist is was extremely rude to me when I called the other day.I had to come in and add to my review since I noticed the rest were responded to and mi g was never addressed. The new receptionist at this location is been a very nice Gentlemen. This is one of the closest locations to my home so I’ll pop in every now and again for an adjustment. Again, I have been a member for about if not a decade.I have only have a few good experiences here and they have all been by doctors that are there temporarily or filling in from other locations. I am very versed in how adjustments work so I know what to ask for based on my discomfort upon my arrival. All of the in house doctors they have rush and don’t handle my body with care. Specifically(I can’t remember his name) the doctor with the long blonde hair, older gentlemen there’s at this location most of the time. I have to physically drive from that location and see another doctor every time he’s finished with me. I never feel important or cared for in his hands, just rushed and pushed along with none of what I asked for met. He goes through the neck adjustments forcefully and rarely looks to find where the correction is needed throwing me into more pain every time.I have recently switched to the flex plan and it cost every time I visit. Please reach out at your earliest convenience to see if I’ll be able to be credited to see another doctor today to adjust the pain I’m in now.

I started out with the joint over a year ago and at the Santa Monica location on Wilshire blvd. I signed up for the $69 package for 4 sessions to relieve the tension in my neck and upper back.I STRONGLY prefer the Joint in Culver City to the Santa Monica location.Dr. Troy is a great chiropractor and Brandon, who works the reception is very nice and welcoming. Excellent customer service from not only the chiropractors but the front desk staff!

Late with this review, I went to this location a couple of weeks ago on a Sunday (drove up from the South bay) got paired up with the female Dr. (Dont remember her name at the moment) well she WAS TERRIBLE! I have a chronic neck problem from being a massage therapist over the past 10 years and have received many adjustments to fix my neck (I am a joint member). She did not adjust my neck (only stretched it...I could have done that myself) after I told her what I was seeking treatment for. According to her I felt fine and I kept telling her that I wasnt. Well long story short I had to pay for an adjustment that I never got then I drove over to the Santa Monica location because I still was in need of a neck adjustment. They took care of me!! Dont go here just go to the Santa Monica location.

I’ve only seen Dr. Troy at this location. He’s great and knows what he’s doing.

I went to this place back in December 2017. Sign up for one month deal for $69.One month only. I stated I will try for one month. Then At the last service in December 2017, I told them I dont want to continue the monthly subscription.They said no problem.Tonight I found out they have been charged me monthly subscription for the last 8 month. $69. Per month. That is over $500.that I didnt authorized.Now I have to call my bank, report the fraudulent charges for the last 8 months.If I dont received my refunds. I will definally sue them! This is insane! I will keep review update until I received my refundsWatch your credit card statement . Watch what they change you!Never ever go back to this place again!Here is my update:After several days with phone calls.I received only 3 refunds out of 8 charges from Brandon, the office manager..Today, they emailed me, told me that I need to contact their corporation office for further assistance with this refunds.Here is what he stated in the email:You will need to contact the corporate office for further assistance as we cannot manually issue any further refunds. And the number they provided is no good number!I guess I will file a small claims again them to get my money back.Watch your bank statement with this place !

I had the worst pain EVER in my back and neck to where I could hardly move. Self adjustment and creams were hopeless so I finally saw Dr. Hem and she saved my life! She also has a wonderful personality and I enjoy seeing her weekly. I am so thankful for this place.

Where did Dr. Hem go? She was the best part about this place, was gone suddenly and no one at the Joint will say where she went

Dr. Hem is the preferred chiropractor I see at the joint. Shes so detailed with her patients, always explains the issue and leaves you feeling much better and relieved. She is professional and always has a smile! I totally recommend Dr. Hem and the joint!

What Ive come to realize about all the 5 star reviews is that the only thing being rated is Dr. Hem. She isnt the only thing to take into consideration though. 2 stars from me because each chiropractor Ive seen was great. Theyre friendly, know what theyre doing and make you feel comfortable. The other stars I didnt give are due to a huge lack of customer service and a bit of shady behavior from the front desk staff. My experience is that if there are more than one sitting up front, theyre too busy talking to each other to bother looking your direction when checking in. They make you feel like a burden, interrupting their conversation to check you in or answer questions you may have. Ive also witnessed several patients have the same complaint when being told they were out of their number of visits in the first month when they were told they would be given their first visit free if they signed up. So they get an adjustment, sign up with thinking they still have 4 visits for their first month... but that isnt the case. Everytime Ive been given a wait time, weather it be 5 minutes, 15, 30 or more, its always at LEAST 15+ minutes than estimated. Im over this location. I have been to other Joint offices around SoCal if I happened to be further from home and my experiences were always better. I think Ill just have to drive a little bit out of the way for better service.

The chiropractor was extremely creepy and made very uncomfortabe, flirty remarks. I left feeling more tension than when I went in. I feel gross and violated. DO NOT GO HERE.

Everyone is always so kind and helpful. The doctors take their time and provide useful guidance to relieve my back pain by providing tons of stretches and good habits to abide by.

DR. HEM IS MY FAVORITE PERSON EVER. she always takes her time, she’s thorough, and super friendly :) i always feel like a million bucks after one of her adjustments!!

The chiropractors are really good here but front desk staff needs to be taught some basic manners. I will not be coming back.

I have a hip rotated posteriorly and have been having trouble just standing and a bum shoulder that I couldnt reach to scratch my back, let alone scrub it in the shower. After one session with Dr. Sutie, my hip doesnt hurt as much and I can reach my back like I do with my other shoulder! She identified the relationship of what was wrong with me (I.e., thyroid problems) with pinched nerves in my spine! She made me feel so comfortable and explained things in laments terms to make sure I understood what she was explaining to me. I felt Right away by her good energy that I was in good hands... quite literally! Cant wait for wait for my next adjustment!
