I started working for Home Instead February last year and everyone here has always been so kind, patient, and communicative with me. They make you feel heard and taken seriously and I’m proud to be a caregiver for their company! They’re understanding of mental health and check in on their clients’ health often. It makes me feel I’m working for wonderful people here!

I love working for this company! There is constant effective communication, they always have my back when I need a shift covered in emergency, and I love that HomeInstead ALWAYS prioritizes the well-being of its caregivers & clinets! With frequent check ins, it’s easy to express caregiver & client needs. A company itself does not make a good reputation on its own, but rather with the help of its employees. I believe HomeInstead has the most nurturing, kind, and supportive staff. You can count on HomeInstead to provide care for your loved ones that will exceed your expectations!!

The caregiver dropped off my 88 year old mother at a Medical Building for her new doctors appointment and went to park the car. When she returned, my mother was gone. I received a phone call asking for the name of the doctor. UNBELIEVABLE

The care my father received from HomeInstead Crystal Lake was fantastic! The office staff was always kind, caring and compassionate. They readily adapted when I needed to change hours of care. Emily helped me transition my Dad to hospice care and was always ready to be a listening ear as I struggled with my Dads increased needs. Crystal and Terri were helpful at all times! My Dad’s caregivers - Mary, Rayna and Vivian showed so much love and compassion both for my Dad and I. They were always on time and went way above and beyond their assigned tasks. I have had many situations where I have met and witnessed the Home Instead staff work. I can honestly say that it is always a pleasure to know that the clients, that they care for, are in such good hands. The staff are competent and compassionate. I saw that their value statement is WE CARE and when you see their office and caregiver staff, you can see that they truly do care!

They made no attempt to match mother with a compatible caregiver. The caregiver couldnt or wouldnt do the simplest task due to religious objections. Mother finally asked with exasperation What CAN you do?

Extremely grateful to the home instead office. They helped me when I was in a bind with finding care for my husband. I am the primary caregiver and needed surgery. I needed help as my daughter works full time and my husband can’t be left alone. They came out immediately and found the perfect caregiver to help us. Especially since my husband was reluctant to have anyone come in the home. We only needed them on a short term basis but I Would highly recommend their services.

We have received services from Home Instead for about two or three years, first for a few hours during the day and for more than a year, 24 hour care. The caregivers are wonderful, compassionate people. I would recommend this company very highly to anyone who wants their parents to receive the best care possible in their homes.
