My daughter contracted lice from some classmates and I had tried on several occasions to use the product out of the grocery store. To no avail it did not work it reduced but it did not completely clear out the Nets that were left in her head. I thought at first going to lice Clinic of America was a little expensive to say the the least, but actually it was the best move that I could have ever made. Not only did they get rid of all the lice but showed me and gave me instructions on how to maintain a healthy head and environment. I also was shown products that will assist me with maintenance which I did purchase some. The technician was awesome I felt uncomfortable going into the clinic. I thought I was going to be judged or something of that nature but she did not do that her name was Joyce. She was awesome and created a very calm peaceful environment the entire time that we were there. She assured us that my daughter wood be fine when she left. Thanks Joyce keep up the good work. We visited Lice Clinics of America in May with the gaurantee that their highest treatment would remove ALL eggs. The ensuing days afterward, we pulled over 100 eggs from my daughters hair. Upon contacting the office, my wife was informed to treat my daughters hair with vinegar.If you decide to take this route, just know beforehand that you will still need to continue to comb out the eggs that they do not get out. They do not provide you with the tools to do so, resulting in more money spent to do their job for them.Upon our complaint, Lice Clinics of America admitted their fault in this and removed their claim of ALL eggs being removed. I was promised a refund on multiple occasions from Flo, but have yet to receive it. This matter is currently being reviewed by the Better Business Bureau. The owner, for some reason, will not give me my refund until the BBB tells her to remit it. We have been lied to over and over and would not recommend this business whatsoever. Luckily for us, the chosen method of communication was through text messaging.Bottom-line...lice stinks, but stay calm and call your pediatrician or family doctor. Follow their instructions to save money and a whirlwind of lies trying to get them to honor their guarantee. My sister-in-law did this at a fraction of the cost through the advice from her doctor.

My 4 year old ended up getting lice, I tried my hardest to get all the nits out of her hair myself but it wasn’t working. Came across lice clinic of America online, made an appt and was very pleased. Very kind and understanding staff. My daughter sat very well through the whole process. Worth every penny.

This place was a game changer for us. If you or your child has a head lice problem, run to this place. My daughter has locks (aka dreadlocks) and we discovered head lice a few days ago. Dreadlocks in African American hair (or any type of hair for that matter) cannot be combed. When we discovered the lice on her scalp, my first response was to use an OTC shampoo. Since I could not do a comb out, all I could do was to pick out as many dead lice and nits as I could find. After the shampoo treatment, the good news, I thought, was at least Im not finding any live lice. The next morning I checked her head and dang if there were not more live lice in her head. I was in a panic: if traditional methods did not work because we couldnt comb the lice/eggs out, we were going to have to shave her head. If she was a boy, wouldnt be that devastating but for a girl....Anyway, I contacted a lice clinic in Valpo for an appointment. When they found out that she had locks, the told me they could not help her BUT that I contact the Lice Clinics of America in Crown Point to see if their heat treatment could help. I was able to get her an appointment that day. The shop was very clean, bright, and neat. I believe Reggie was the name of the person who helped us. He was very professional and explained the process. He was very assured and told me over the phone and in person that my daughter was going to walk out of the clinic lice free. I can say I wanted to be optimistic because of his confidence but I was still very leery of believing and especially of getting my daughters hopes up. He gave her the heat and oil treatments. However, due to the nature of her hair, he could not do the comb out, which he told me was purely cosmetic. There is also an at home follow up plan you have to follow. He also gave me many good tips for prevention. I bought some products from the displays that are supposed to be good for prevention. We got home and I had to wash the oil out of her hair myself (which I didnt know about in advance but he gave us plastic caps and plenty of towels). After the oil was washed out, I examined her hair. I found maybe 5-6 dead lice and several dead eggs (I could tell b/c they become reddish brown in color) which I picked out but nothing live that i could see. I check her hair before bed: again i picked out maybe 2-3 dead lice but nothing live. Next morning: maybe 1-2 dead lice a few eggs.We are on day 2 post treatment and Ive been checking her head 3x/day: checks have yielded no live lice, no more dead lice, and a few dead eggs. I am not going to say she is cured, more like remission, until I see results on day 10 post treatment but I am certainly a believer today that this clinic has the knockout magic to cure the problem. If there is anything missing here it is only that the comb out portion of the treatment could not be completed but that is not their fault at all but even without that, I am loving the results so far. I will probably be picking dead nits from her hair for a while but Id rather deal with that than having an incurable lice problem. We are very very glad we found this place: it had delivered the results we wanted with minimal drama.

Found out the hard way that my daughter had lice. She had been complaining about an itchy head but she had had lice before and we had found them and I had picked out all the nits myself. This time I didn’t see any nits so I just thought maybe she got a sunburn on her head or wasn’t getting all the shampoo out. That was until the school sent her home with live lice on her head. I was itchy too at this point. I don’t have anyone to go through my hair so we made an appointment with lice clinics of America in Crownpoint and got in the following morning for treatment. It was pretty expensive, nearly 400 for both of us to get a complete treatment, but seems to have worked. My hairdresser just checked me and neither one of us are itchy anymore.

Joyce was way to rough on my 6yo daughter & my head. Both of us have missing chunks of hair she pulled out with the nit comb. She kept pushing my daughters head back with a slapping motion. She thought I didnt see how extremely rude & rough she was being with my child and when I saw my daughter tearing up and asked if she was ok Joyce became visisable annoyed. I was also annoyed she tried to give me unasked for parenting advise- to start bribing my kids (Horrible advise) and she way over stepped her rights as a owner & service provider by trying to discipline my children for me. Very inappropriate. She was very unprofessional & got oil in my daughters eye then yelled at my daughter for wiping it out. Her customer service was horrible but for the $500 I spent I almost feel ripped off. The man was very polite & gentle with all his checking & procedures. He was also very accommodating with the scheduling. Would only ever return if she wasnt going to touch any of my children or my head.

We are so thankful to have come to Lice Clinics of America. We had been notified by my daughter’s classmate’s Mother last evening that her daughter had lice. I thought I saw it in 1 of my 3 children’s hair & truly didn’t know where to turn. I found this clinic on google & couldn’t be happier with the treatment for 2 of my children that did have lice. My other son & I didn’t have it, but were given a precautionary oil to use to make sure we stay clear of lice! This is the first & last place you should go if you too have a problem with lice👍🏻😊

For being such an unpleasant issue to deal with, we had such a pleasant expierence with this business. The owners are kind and really treated my whole family with professionalism. They took their time and were very thorough. I have two very young daughters and they worked so well with them and were so nice about my kiddos being busy bees in their clinic. They also were flexible with our schedule and came in early to see my husband the next day. We really cant say a negative about our expierence. We would confidently recommend this place to anyone. I espeically loved all the knowledge I learned about this topic and how to be proactive. They are great and clearly know what they are doing. Keep up the great work!
