I went in for my first wax ever and, while it is an uncomfortable thing, I was put at ease with quiet conversation to keep me distracted! Vanessa had some tips and pointers about my skin to help with issues I had been battling at home and she had great knowledge of the products sold. I book for my next appointment before leaving! I 100% appreciate the communication from this salon as well. I’m a busy person, as most are these days. I was able to book online then all messages were text which I can answer at my leisure!

This was my first time visiting Beauty & the Beach. I had a full highlight and haircut done with Bethany, and she did such an amazing job! This is by far the happiest I’ve ever been with any hair service I’ve had done! Bethany was so thorough in her consult, and made sure I understood what going on every step of the way. I had my first visit to Beauty & The Beach this past Friday and will DEFINITELY be back! The guest service as soon as you walk in is phenomenal. I get massages regularly. I was from out of state and they were able to get me in quickly. Keegan was excellent at what he does. He is very professional and intuitive in finding the spots that need to be worked on. When I am back to visiting family again I will use his services. I have been here twice, and both experiences were exceptional! I had both microshading and lip blushing done by Salome, and I am in love with her work. Everyone is so friendly, which is a big plus in my book. I will definitely be going back!

My daughter begged me to go with for a pedicure appointment for her birthday. This was actually a really good time. The women were lovely and had her chatting up a storm. I love to see it.I feel like I lost pain in my feet that I didnt even realize I had. New feet, new me. I would go again.

My daughter’s homecoming nail appointment was canceled 15 minutes prior to her appointment time. I was a long time customer but just canceled all of my appointments. I was so disappointed that no options were offered. If I had canceled 15 minutes prior to my appointment, I would have been charged regardless. I understand staffing issues but there was no attempt at customer service here.

I have been to beauty and the beach a couple of times and every time I go the atmosphere is so welcoming. Katie G. Cut my hair and did an amazing job. I also got my eyebrows waxed by Jasmine. She was so sweet and made me feel comfortable. My eyebrows look amazing! Definitely will be coming back and recommending this place to everyone!!

I got my 2nd Brazilian done here and it was practically painless compared to the last place I went to. Jasmine was so professional and made me feel so comfortable and taken care of! She even helped me with breathing! The aura of the place was so relaxing, too. And to top it off, I had to get a last minute spray tan the next day and they got me in first thing in the morning, and even have a rapid development spray tan that I only had on for about 2 hours, then had to wash off. And it worked PERFECTLY! I was shocked at how much the tan developed in such little time, and also how much darker I got as the day went on. By the time of my event around 6pm, I was easily like 100 shades darker. Kendra did my spray tan, and she was phenomenal! Patiently answered any questions I had, and made sure that I knew everything I needed to know about aftercare, same as Jasmine! These girls know how to do beauty, and I am definitely coming back for all of my beauty needs! 10/5 STARS!

I LOVE BEAUTY AND THE BEACH CROWN POINT! All of the staff is so welcoming when you walk through the door and right away they ask you what service you’re there for and they are rarely behind schedule. They offer you a drink when you sit down. Love! They have awesome services, I’ve had a matcha green tea massage (AWESOME), eyebrow tinting with Raquel, which she does an AMAZING job on eyebrows. She made sure my color matched my hair and she did them quick and precisely. They turned out awesome! My massage was with Christina I believe and it was great as well! She asked me what pressures I was comfortable with and always made sure I felt comfortable. My spray tans are done by Morgan and I’ve had a few with Kyla and both ladies are super sweet and nice! They both do great spray tans and both also make sure you are comfortable. The services are provided in an excellent fashion and the staff is always so bubbly and sweet. I would recommend this salon 10/10. I’ll be back ❤️

I regularly visit for eye brow waxing but have tried cryo therapy, massage and other waxing services. My regular girl, Vanessa does a great job shaping my brows. I love the options available and the technology the salon has to make life easier (like the online appointment booking tool or the tipping app where you can use your credit card.) Long story short, they are my go to salon for waxing and other services.

I love the whole experience when I go to Beauty and the Beach in Crown Point! The entire staff is nice and helpful. I go for massages with Stephanie and I just adore her. My husband and I both got massages with Stephanie. She was so nice and easy to talk to. Sometimes massages can be awkward, but it was like chatting with an old friend! The entire place seemed very clean and well kept. We will hopefully be back for more massages and would even like to schedule pedicures or other services in the future. I would definitely recommend. Beauty and the Beast has a welcoming feel, from the atmosphere inside to the lovely ladies that greet you and take you to your destination. I was acknowledged immediately and my wait was very little. During my appointment I was having a procedure done that I have not done before and the staff was very understanding and took the time to answer all of my questions. I have only used a few of their many services and will definitely be back for more. Kudos to the staff, beautiful inside and out.

I booked the “Queen for a Day” package. A few days ahead of time I received a call explaining that the person scheduled to do my pedicure was sick and would not be available. I was disappointed, but I do understand things happen. I was also disappointed that the soonest I could book another appointment for the pedicure was two weeks later.The services I did receive were fantastic! I had a massage with Keegan and a Facial with Jasmine. I would definitely book services here again. Overall, everyone was friendly and professional, and everything was very clean.

I will always recommend this place. I wont go anywhere else. And theyre the only place that I can find that had the rockstar glitter which Is my favorite. Ive never had a bad experience with any services

I see Dr. Beck at Beauty and the Beach and he is incredible! Ive never had botox prior to seeing him, and was a little nervous. We had a full consultation, and he explained the before and after effects so I would have clear expectations post -service. My experience was top tier starting with the booking process, and ending with a follow up message from the salon advisor. Id never go anywhere else!

This isn’t a very close salon for me but it’s worth the drive to get the wonderful treatment that I so deserve. Ladies we work hard so why not treat yourself to the best place in the region. I highly recommend this location

I got microshading done by Salome. She great!! The 1st session I had no clue what to expect she was very informative and made sure I was comfortable. Great conversation. After 1st session my eye brow on one side was slightly higher not to bad... after touch up they were on POINT!! And I’m picky!! I will come back in 6 months to get the color a little more even throughout both brows but I LOVE THEM!!! Got to Salome!!

I hadnt had my hair cut since February 2020, when I booked my May 2021 visit with B&B. I was pregnant during the pandemic and we had moved from Chicago to Crown Point. I had been going to the same hair stylist for 8 years prior to this, but I couldnt hunt him down after he moved from the studio in Chicago! So - I did some research on local places and the reviews on this place did not disappoint. I really needed a win in my life right now and everyone was so friendly, compassionate, and most importantly - Bethany was amazing at cutting post-pregnancy/mom-bun damage/hair texture disaster hair! I walked in very nervous and kind of ashamed of how badly I had been taking care of myself - but she transformed me in less than an hour and I walked out with tears of joy. Love this place, I will be back! I also appreciated that they texted me after my appointment to make sure everything went well. Top notch customer service.

Everyone was so welcoming. I didn’t have to wait for my stylist she met me at the door. I asked her to give me something to compliment my side shave & get rid of all the damage in my hair, & she delivered. My daughter and I got our first facials, and Raquel and staff were amazing! The atmosphere was great and gorgeous, everything seemed high end and really fancy! Raquel was our professional Aesthetician, and she was amazing! The ambiance in the room, for me, was as if I was floating into space! I had a 60 minute appointment and I sincerely appreciate every moment; from the hot steam to the hot towels, to the gentle massages. I had my very first airbrush spray tan here about 3 weeks ago. I JUST got the last of it off. They tell you 7-10 day lifespan, but it still looked fabulous a solid 2 weeks later. I got it as a test for a wedding and was planning on getting another before said wedding, but I didnt need another one. Morgan was so nice and explained everything and didnt care about spraying a pregnant lady! The salon was also gorgeous. I walked in and my first thought was wow, this place is SWANK. Not to mention, the spray tan was only $35!If I ever want another spray tan, Ill be back for sure.

Explained what I liked and didnt, my normal hair routine and habits. She DID AMAZING!!! I have gotten so many compliments and I just cant stop looking at it and touching it!! I brought my 4 year old son into see Katie and then a week later I had a highlights/lowlights and a cut. First off, I love the online appointment option. I usually think about needing my hair done in the middle of the night when everything is closed - so this helps get one thing checked off my to-do list.Secondly, both times the front desk staff were polite and courteous. They got me situated right away and I didn’t have to wait for more than just a couple of minutes for my stylist to come and get me.Thirdly, the place is very neat and clean. In this day, you can never be too cautious. Walking into a salon this well kept goes a long way.And to save the best for last. Katie was fabulous. So polite and knowledgeable about the cut and color I was looking for. Was willing to look at a few photos I brought in and come up with the best plan for my hair. I went to beauty and the beach last minute yesterday for a haircut. I saw Bethany and she was amazing. I haven’t had my haircut in over a year. It was a great experience. She did exactly what I wanted, gave an amazing shampoo, and listened to what I had to say. The place is very clean and beautiful. I always love coming here to get anything done.

I just had a prenatal massage with Stephanie at Beauty and the Beach and it was fantastic! The room itself was so relaxing, very warm and cozy. Stephanie was so kind and made me feel very comfortable the entire time. She did an excellent job with the massage, targeting all of my problem points without neglecting the rest of my body. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and am hoping to get in for one more before the baby comes.

Truly great people. I have ALS and have difficulty getting up and out of chairs. They were extremely accommodating and super helpful. I will definitely be coming back. I had a manicure pedicure and facial and felt completely revived. They have gift cards available which my boyfriend got me for my birthday so I got the works. Can’t wait to get their massages.

I needed a new hair stylist and that is always scary and usually takes FOREVER to find WELL I found it here on the FIRST try with Steph!!!! SHE MADE ME FEEL SO COMFORTABLE AND SHE LISTENED TO EVERYTHING I SAID AND I LEFT FEELING AMAZING AND CONFIDENT AND SO MUCH BETTER THAN I DID WHEN I WALKED IN!!! I was having a bad day the first day I went to Steph and I left not having as bad of a day! The services I have received have been above my expectations and the girls there are sweet, informative, kind and understanding!! I could go on and on!!!! ITs an AMAZING place and I highly recommend it!!!

Beauty and the beach is the ultimate salon! I pretty much am there every Wednesday and everyone is always so welcoming. The girls are the nicest, Morgan and Zina are the best. Beauty and the Beach has every service possible and I guarantee you won’t regret going there!

My lash extensions that Vanessa did for me are DROP DEAD GORGEOUS! She is a true perfectionist with her work! They are absolutely beautiful! I will never be able to go without having them now! It was my first time having them done so this was also my first time for a fill and I couldn’t be happier about how durable and how long the extensions lasted! No more glue on lashes for me! I can never turn back after seeing the difference!

This is my go to place for airbrush tanning and massages! They use the best quality products for sunless tans, I never end up looking orange or streaky. And as far as massages go Stephanie is the best! You can tell she’s a very educated massage therapist and she knows what she’s doing. Love this place!

Came to this facility with my sister and my 6 year old niece for pedicures.From making the appointment with the very pleasant receptionist to the beautiful, clean atmosphere to the actual service. It was a wonderful All around experience.Due to limited appointment availability my 6 year old niece and I had to take turns with the tech, Crystal. She was so patient with her. And did a fantastic job with us both.Will definitely return!

I recently moved to Crown Point, IN and was referred to Beauty and the Beach by my neighbors/friends as I was looking for a place I could go to get my hair, brows, nails, etc. done.I first visited the salon to get a full highlight and haircut with Stephanie! She was GREAT! I loved the outcome, the pricing, the atmosphere,etc. Needless to say, I set up another appointment with Stephanie in 8 weeks!I also had my eyebrows done (waxing) with Vanessa and she is equally as pleasant and awesome as Stephanie! Again, great job, pricing, etc! I have follow up appointments set with Vanessa as well and I am so happy I have found a new salon I can trust for allof my self care needs!

I got a Brazilian wax with Vanessa and she was great! I have been looking for a place to go after moving out here and trying a couple really bad places. This salon is very clean and everyone is super friendly! My wax was very quick and looks amazing. I was in and out within 10-15 minutes start to finish. I have had painful waxes before and this one hardly even hurt. I will definitely be coming here from now on! Thanks so much!
