This massage envy was an excellent FIRST experience. The staff was absolutely amazing and professional. They were very detailed with all the information I needed. I felt AMAZING after my massage. The atmosphere and cleanliness of the entire business was very satisfying. Brandie was an EXCEPTIONALLY thorough massage therapist! She was caring and gave great advice about my personal self care! I signed up for their membership it is definitely worth the 45 minute drive to THIS particular Massage Envy!

This was my first time ever getting a massage. I had Barry who was AWESOME!!! Very professional. He listened very well and had great bedside manner. He paid special attention to the areas where I had large knots from tension and stress. I left feeling relaxed and limber. Barry definitely has blessed hands to do this profession, and I look forward to my next session with him!

I was looking forward to getting a deep tissue massage and was truly disappointed. the pressure was no where deep enough, she was not smooth in her technique and she complete ignored the parts that I needed work on. She was very tentative and not at all skilled in giving a massage.

I cannot begin to explain the horrific experience I had between this location and the Rock Hill location. If you think buying a gift card for yourself and saving it for another time works, it doesn’t. If someone else books an appointment for you to surprise you they will use your gift card without your permission and the credit card information of the person who booked it for you and then tell you it’s all take care of. Who gave them the right to use my gift card without my permission when someone else booked the appointment and paid for it! Considering I thought I had two unused gift cards when I went to check out for my massage, they said they were redeemed. They would not let me leave the store until I paid, AGAIN.AND then argue with you about how it’s your fault and everyone involved including the other store. The management from each store that I talked to, never once asked how they can fix the issue, just the fact is was my fault…. Awful terrible customer service. I will never set a foot back in a massage envy. Massage luxe has always been more professional and kind. I shouldn’t have took this risk.

First and LAST time going to a ME. Not only was an older gift card not honored (after I called ahead a month earlier regarding the 10 year old card that I still had due to being bed bound and in and out of physical therapy for several years, and was told that since it wasnt a promotion card it would be no problem), which by the way they were able to give me a copy of the receipt from when my friend purchased it for me & were able to tell me that it was the exact amount for what they use to charge for a 90 min massage, but I left there with more stress and in extreme back pain. I had to tell the masseuse 2 or 3 times that she was hurting me, as she was grinding something under my left shoulder blade, & her response each time was she was trying to get something, to burst. Later on I had my daughter look at my back because I couldnt lift my left shoulder, and I had bruises and a HUGE area of edema and redness in the shoulder blade area from what the masseuse did to me. Ive had a deep tissue massage before, it WAS NOT a TORTURE session like this. I basically paid cash to be ASSAULTED & ABUSED!!

My last visit I changed it up to a 90 minute session. It was the right call; I felt so relaxed, more so than my previous 60 minute sessions. You get the opportunity to accept or decline the appointment. Once you arrive for your scheduled appointment, you call in from your car. After the questions, you are invited in for your temperature check.Barry is friendly and caring. I had a wonderful massage! He made sure the pressure was to my liking. We both wore our mask for added safety precaution. I would definitely give Barry a 5-star rating.Because I prepaid, checkout was a breeze. (I was checked out before the massage.) After my massage, the workers out front asks about your massage. With a 👍, I walked out the door.

Prior to my appointment I had been experiencing some soreness and tightness in multiple muscle groups. As usual upon my presentation for my scheduled appointment Alinna asked “Is there anything I need to be aware of, or any problem areas?” This acknowledges her willingness to take additional time to devote to these areas. She has the hands of an angel and applies the right amount of pressure to my problem areas. I felt rejuvenated following my visit.

The overall experience from start to finish was disappointing. Alinna was not warm and welcoming. The session started 7 minutes late and ended 10 minutes early. My torso was left uncovered while my lower body was being serviced. I did not receive deep pressure as I signed up for. Alinna use her elbow on my spine causing discomfort which is still present today. Alinna did not greet me at the closing of the session however, I still left a tip. I will not be visiting this location again in the future.
