All I can say is wow. From misinformed nurses to administering extended release medications with no antidote in the case a pt experiences adverse reactions. if you become one of the lucky ones that does get an adverse reaction to vivitrol, good luck, you will be in hell for at least 21 days. Oh and the best part is they refuse to treat your adverse side effects and refer you to your primary care provider instead. In the real world we call that technique ‘pass the trash’ lol

I wanted to first start off with, I have been to many different Detox/In-patient/Out-patient/therapy facilities in my day. I have also been through the court systems-based rehab. I am not taking anything away from any of them. They all have their way of doing things. But INSYNERGY was a game changer. INSYNERGY does things their way and it was exactly what I needed from the beginning. We were able to look at things in a different way. We worked on getting to the bottom of the addiction and working on the underlying issues that causes it. Life changing.Dr. Taca and his unbelievable team were amazing. Anything and everything I needed; they were there with helping hands. Everyone was friendly, supportive and most of all caring. They treated me like family. I never felt out of place. I always knew I was in the right place, from day one with Jamie.There are too many people to thank, but the man that I need to thank the most was my counselor Rick. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to spend every week talking to. His approach is the approach that made it all make sense. I can consider him as someone I can always call, just to talk or catch up. He is an amazing REAL person, that I’m honored to now call friend. The combination of Dr. Taca’s approach, team members and Rick, made my sobriety possible. Its been 360 days as I write this and just taking it a day at a time! I am writing this review of InSynergy in order to get the word out to others who may also be battling the demons of addiction in any form. I have been in treatment at InSynergy for over a year and cannot say enough about their program.I first made contact with them at probably one of the lowest points in my life. The team of addiction specialists handled my case with true dignity and grace. The team met with me and carefully designed an INDIVIDUALIZED treatment plan. They joined me in consulting with my family and friends to come up with a treatment program that gave me the best chance of success in beating my demons.You arent simply a number or a wallflower there. The entire staff engaged me and my loved ones and continues to do so to this day. It was such a fantastic experience, that I voluntarily signed up for an additional six months of treatment. Why, because its a fantastic program that works. Their integration of the science and treatment individualizes the treatment for each person they see and maximizes their chance of recovery.Addiction medicine would not be so without the expected ups and downs that come with the territory. The treatment team they have approaches each and every trial and tribulation with the utmost of care and support which I believe is paramount to ones success.Overall, Id highly recommend one look at this program and consider treatment with this excellent team of professionals. I’ve been struggling with opiate dependency for decades and started seeking treatment in 1997. I had basically given up hope that I could ever be free from dependency until I met Dr Taca. His approach & most of all his compassion is exactly what I needed. I came to trust and respect his entire team > Jaime, Rick, Jordan & Hannah all helped me in different & needed ways. Ashley was with me from the first day to the last & I would follow her off a cliff. This is a special group of people and I feel so lucky to have found them. Dr. Arturo Taca has undoubtedly saved not just my life, but many other lives as well. The entire office staff genuinely cares for each individual and seeks to consistently ensure that they are given an all encompassing program, which is so very necessary to move forward in a positive direction. They tried to put me on meds that a REAL surgeon who was a doctor told me would have almost killed me. So apperantly they have no clue what they are doing. Also I could sue them for breaking doctor patient relationship when they called my family members without me knowing, people who were not marked to be allowed to see my records.Update: they are trying to make the situation right, which is nice, unfortunately this was about 5 years ago so I really dont have any interest in the situation anymore, I was just posting my experience at the place. Im sure MANY people HAVE been helped by them. Just not me. Thank you for trying to make things right though, it is appreciated.

After, nearly 20 years of sobriety, I found myself drinking again and really struggling to stay sober. My children were gone and I suppose, I was the bored housewife. One day while drinking and desperate I phoned Insynergy and was able to speak to the director Dr Taca. I will never forget his kindness and empathy. I was told to come right over. I met Ashley, the ultimate professional and I after a physical exam, and given options, I was started on a protocol of Vivitrol injections. Needless, to say, my life has changed dramatically. I am able to stay sober, start working again in an area I love. My rehabilitation included cognitive therapy along with gene therapy...I found out I do not process Folic acid properly and given a nutrient. Each and every person at Insynergy is professional, empathetic and knowledgable. I have since directed several friends to Insynergy and they are all doing well and feel as positive as I do in recovery...I do attend AA meetings weekly along with the Vivitrol injection every month and I have regained sobriety, respect and my life

Incompetent at billing. Push extraordinarily expensive versions of the same drugs you can get generic for 10 bucks a month. Have two therapists on staff one of whom disappeared for weeks. Group therapy, 4 times out of 5 was me and one therapist. Lose payments. Want frequent urine tests that they send out for no reason since they get results immediately that bill insurance $3600 a pop (no joke). Change their number with no notice. The list goes on and on.

I am extremely grateful for the treatment I have received from Dr. Taca, along with the support of Insynergy’s caring and compassionate staff. They are the sole reason I have managed to become sober after 5 years spent abusing multiple addictive substances. I had been in and out of various kinds of treatment, inpatient and outpatient, for almost three years before I arrived at Insynergy. Their method of providing the addict the personal attention of a medical doctor was a total game changer for me. No other outpatient I have been to has a similar approach–to their detriment.Simply put, If I had not enrolled in Insynergy’s program, I would still be caught in the awful cycle of abuse and withdrawal that had defined each year of my life post high school.I wholeheartedly recommend anyone still caught in that cycle to give Insynergy a chance.

I love Insynergy for many different reasons. First of all, everyone at the office is Super friendly! From Kattie and all the girls at the front desk, to Jordan (who gives the vivitrol shots), to Dr. Taca, everyone is just very nice, courteous and kind. Secondly, I am a big believer in the Vivitrol shot, it has helped me immensely in my recovery. Jordan makes it comfortable and painless when administering the shot. She keeps me up to date on my medication levels, so we can decide when I should get the next shot. Third, Dr. Taca is amazing! He is a very forward thinking Psychiatrist when it comes to treating my substance abuse, depression, anxiety and ADHD. I have been to multiple psychiatrists before Dr. Taca and he is by far the most understanding, forward thinking Dr I have been to. I have seen positive results in my recovery, depression, anxiety and ADHD that I have never seen before. Thank you Dr. Taca and the entire INSynergy staff for what you have done for me and I look forward to my continued treatment.

This facility did its job in helping me with my addiction. However, they have a lot of things they need to fix. As a rehabilitation center they need to admit and acknowledge their mistakes to set a good example for their patients. Excusing and overlooking things doesnt put out the right message to addiction patients. We as addicts mess up we wouldnt be there nor would they be making money if we didnt. Despite the mistakes you should feel welcomed at your rehabilitation center and feel like you can open up to them and talk to them about whats going on. Instead you feel their judgement without words but in their eyes you can see it and feel it. Positive reinforcement is what I believe a rehabilitation center should be pushing, to help patients feel like they can trust and go without judgement/punishment/dissapointment in there clinic. Its okay everyone makes mistakes but lets try and do something different so this doesnt happen again. Nonetheless, you can also hear the staff talking when they think they are out of range, and the things that are said are very unprofessional. Without us addicted feeding your pockets for your support and help there would be no insynergy rehabilitation center, so dont forget why you guys are really there. It doesnt matter if you guys arent in a good mood, if thats the case leave it at the door or take an off day cause we dont need that nor do we pay for that.People may not be using their real names for a reason, Dr. Taca/Ashley its because they dont want the entire world to know they are an addict. It doesnt mean they werent a real patient.
