Came here for an emergency copperhead snake bite after our primary vet told us they close in 2 hours (6 pm) and there was nothing they could do. The animal hospital didn’t open till 6 pm and I didn’t want to wait two hours to get her help. Ross Animal Hospital took our puppy right back and started the treatment. Even though they close at 6 pm (same as our primary vet), they told us they are going to stay with our puppy till she is able to go home. They updated us the whole time and took very very good care of her. All of the staff was super nice and helpful. I am so thankful we decided to come here and so thankful for such a loving and caring staff here.

Got a new puppy packet sent puppy home with no booster/parvo only deformed and was told puppy at seven weeks was to Young and we all know thats a lie! But Rhonda an Peggy are a joy

Dr. Ross and staff are the best around. Ive been taking my animals there for years, and have never received anything but quality care. They never rush and hurry me out..they explain in detail any problems my fur baby might have and how they plan to treat him. My dog is treated and handled with dignity and respect, and treat me as a valued client I wouldnt take my dog anywhere else.. Dr. Ross is continuing to learn the latest in animal health care, and her staff is doing so as well. They are professional, knowledgeable, patient, kind, caring, personable....i could go on. If you are looking for top quality care I highly suggest going to Ross Animal Hospital and Rehabilitation.

We tried stem cell on our Basset Hound that could not walk. Within 2 weeks of the procedure, she was walking! I highly recommend them. Great and friendly staff that really care about all animals.

They are wonderful, taking care of my sick cat. Doing all they can to figure out what keeps causing her sinus infections.

I am very disappointed. I brought my dog in on a Saturday, he was diagnosed with Epilepsy and diabetes; the doctor told me how high his blood sugar was and how they did blood work, gave him fluids, medication to calm him down....I was never told how severe or what his chance of living was.....AT ALL. PERIOD. I am very upset because after spending almost $700, my poor baby passed away 18 hours after leaving the vet office. I called up there to let the office know that he had passed, and that someone would give me a call back to see what management could do. Never got a call back, so after 24 hours, I called and spoke to the receptionist and someone else called me back. He was very apologetic but I still wasnt at peace when I got off the phone. I have been a loyal customer, bringing my cats & dogs in when absolutely needed. I didnt even have time to give my poor baby his medicines and I wasnt even offered a partial refund on the medication that wasnt even hardly used. Im so upset and just feel like I wasnt told upfront how bad his diagnosis was. Oh, and they do not even do any kind of payment plans what-so-ever! Very upsetting!!! I will not be returning back to this vet office.

This is a group of people who truly love animals and do an excellent job in caring for your pets. The staff is extremely compassionate and expressed their sympathies when we had to put our Shiz Tzu down due to cancer.

I have dealt with this clinic for years now. For the most part it was a good experience but as of now I think I will back out gracefully. I have two dogs that love this place but they will NOT be going back! I took them both in for grooming only to come home smelling like they did when they went. I have been calling for a week only to get the run around by Johnny who wants to tell me how much he loves my dog, this has nothing to do with love, but everything to do with my dogs not being groomed which is what I paid for. Shame on me for not cutting ties a long time ago, because this is not the first time that I have caught them not rendering service! So my message to VET MED that was the last 100,00 you get from me. When all you had to do was make it right. Divas face was never washed her ears werent clipped but she has bows in her head!!! Johnny there is no need to call now I am done with you all. I tried to keep the support going but you wont just take my money! You cant do people wrong and expect good to come!

Dr. Ross has taken care of my house pets (dogs and cats) for over 10 years. She is a good vet, a capable diagnostician, and handles animals well. Her business has grown since we started using her services, and she now utilizes veterinary technicians to provide much of the care, and interaction with (human) clients. Dr. Ross also utilizes vet techs to explain her recommendations, and proposed treatment plan and costs. The vet techs are not able to answer substantive questions about the plan, or discuss the availability of alternative medications. This has resulted in multiple misunderstandings about what Dr. Ross is recommending, and importantly, why. While I appreciate the expertise of a vet tech, it is not a substitute for that of the veterinarian.Since changing to another vet, I have learned that Dr. Ross prescribed medication that was unnecessary for two of my dogs. She also chose to prescribe medication (that she sold) at a cost of over $7 per dose, when the same medication is available as a generic at a cost of less than 10 cents per dose. Her pharmacy stocks both. I started using Dr. Ross when she had one exam room and a tiny office. I thought she was wonderful. It is amazing what money and success does to someone.

Dr. Ross and staff have a heart for all animals. I have seen amazing results with stem cell therapy & rehabilitation, where dogs that could not walk were eventually walking out of the clinic. I cannot give enough praise to this establishment and to the people that work here. The advancements in medicine are truly amazing and to see this kind of rehabilitation for older pets that you can get here in Covington and not having to travel to Atlanta for.

A fantastic find! I needed more natural care for my soon to be 8 yr. old German Shepard and not only did I find a great veterinarian also an amazing staff. They showed great concern for my best friend they handled as I would yet their knowledge is awesome. I also decided to have him bathed ( I was in between groomers) he desperately needed a bath. Not only did he look and smell so good far beyond my expectations. It took a little over 2 hrs. This was a plus too. I intend to stick with Dr. Ross best veterinary clinic Ive found and I almost forgot the prices were good too🙂🐕

I took my dog in for coughing. Had to go back 3 times and cost me over $1000 . She is still coughing and they have every reason why she is still coughing, but no resolution on it .😡 so I’m out $1000 dollar and a dog that is still coughing. Wanted more money with no guarantee it would work .

Dr Ross and her wonderful staff have lovingly cared for 3 of my cats over the years, and now my dog ( who I adopted from her facility). Im not treated as just a customer, but a valued individual. My pet is treated with kindness love and respect. Dr. Ross and staff are continuing to learn the latest techniques in vet care, and explain things in layman terms , so Im able to understand. If you want quality health care for your fur-baby, this is the place.

The staff and doctors were very compassionate and polite. My cat received excellent care and they followed up after she came home to make sure she was alright. My only complaint is that the prices are high but you get what you pay for I suppose. Will definitely go back again.

This place TOTALLY sux! They over charge you BIG TIME, LIE to you, and when your pet passes away, they dont refund you ANYTHING for all the unused meds you never had a chance to use. The lying about what was said, the MAN giving info to customers needs to be fired. Actually they need to close down, according to the latest reviews. they LIE, overcharge, dont care, just want your money. very unacceptable business.

If I could I give this place a zero but they won’t let me I would give -0 We used to take my dogs there. I took my dog two days ago which is 10/7/19 and it’s 24 seven emergency clinic that opens up at 7 AM. I was there at 6:59 am walked in 7AM and I walked in to be in seen. The veterinarian ( which was the same man sitting behind the front desk drinking coffee is the veterinarian that I’ve seen on my records )that has tattoos said the doctor is not in right now he’ll be in later and this was 7:10 AM. I got an estimate (HIGH PRICED) for about 20 minutes and one of his helpers examine the dog just looked at her. In the meanwhile good bit of time has passed and the vet should have come in but Didn’t , so I left and went to another vet which is way cheaper and more compassionate and does show up before time. They did not open until a couple hours later unfortunately. The other vetwhich is way cheaper and more compassionate and honest and don’t keep add an extra test that are not needed so you have to pay more veterinarian clinic! I had to wait hours until they open. I would never ever ever go. Again please take heed and if you love your doggos do as much research as you can I’ve never had a good result out of this clinic that’s why I changed after so many visits . my vet said my dog would have lived if he would’ve been treated ahead and did the procedures. Had to wait till another vet open and by the time they’re open they gave her some medicine pain meds anabiotic’s Plus I don’t remember what else and then a couple hours later she need to be seen again or Check up on and got put down. With no medical history or anything. I have papers. she was a show dog. This is not the point she was my dog to help me recover from getting hit by 18 wheeler. she was my family dog and saved My lifeI fed her fresh refrigerated food and also took her to the vet often the emergency vet they want to charge you arm and leg and I used to pay it but thousand dollars Nothing compared to the good old cuppa coffee sitting there while you’re open but not excepting customers when your sign says 24/7. They didn’t want to work that early to keep my dog alive because???? I don’t know and even lied to me and said he wasn’t the Vet.

We have been coming to this office since late 2013. Unfortunately, recently (like within the last 18 to 24 months - probably since they moved into the nicer/bigger office space) like many others have complained about, they only seem to care about money and not the true care of the pet. I have probably spent upwards of $8000 to $10,000 there over the last 6 years due to the number of pets and their ages/conditions. The most recent issue is the EXTRA $100 UPCHARGE for the cremation of my pet for their efforts in coordinating with the Petuary. The petuary website clearly states what the fee is for cremation for veterinary partners (which they are) and what all is included in the charge for cremation, but apparently the vet office adds on fees that they could not explain, at least not very well. (And I am not talking about the charge for the actual euthanasia as that was a separate additional line item). Anyway, there are other troublesome dealings with this office in the last 18 to 24 months that I wont go into at this time. Its unfortunate that this office has changed its business practices from seemingly truly caring about the health of your pet to the more recent dealings of only being out there for money. When we first came to this office, we really thought this was the best place and that they truly cared for our pets well being and were not just out for money but something has changed. Perhaps the AAHA accreditation caused them to change their business model. Either way, I am no longer a happy customer of this vet office and I will be finding a new vet to take care of my remaining 2 dogs.Sincerely disappointed and very frustrated.

I was a GREAT paying customer for over a year here and spent almost $2000 with this practice, just to be treated unlike a valued client in the end. Very disappointed in the lack of communication between Dr Ross and myself, her client. She allowed her gatekeeper (Johnny) to treat a loyal client poorly and did nothing to try and resolve my issue. A scheduling conflict superseded all the money & time Ive spent over the course of the year. I never would have imagined being treated this way, and just to think, I had referred someone there. Now I will let anyone who asks know the truth about what to expect from Ved Med Clinic. Very sad because I believe my kitty benefited from the therapy provided.
