The staff was so helpful and professional. The NP was very considerate and seemed genuinely concerned about my health. She really put my mind and heart at rest about a particular issue.

Every time I come to the WIC office it’s about a2 hour wait. And the waiting room isn’t even full/busy.

Went for bat venom vaccine. Well organized, neat and clean. Professional staff top to bottom, helpful, considerate, and kind. This is a really nice group. Ill be back for a second dose. :)

Went last Friday for first COVID vaccine, it was very well organized, everyone very professional and caring. Great place!

I visited this place on 19th august 2020 for my immunization for college admissions. I did not wait that long as I went after 4pm. I was greeted by the nurse, she asked questions about me having any symptoms of covid and took my temperature using the gun. She directed me to Zoe who was ever so helpful. She helped me get my immunization updated and advised me to get the vaccine required for my admission. Ms.Jackie and Ms. Lori were the best, I did not even know when I was given the injection. All in all it was a 10/10 experience at a public department, they were all courteous , polite, helpful and smiling.

Pleasant helpful staff who answer questions and treat patients with utmost care!

This is the 3rd day trying to speak with someone working at the lab but to no avail. The nurses do not know what kind of tests they do at the health department.

Dee Brown is an EXTREMELY rude receptionist at the Newton County Health Department. Do not deal with her at all if you can help it.It would be best if she were replaced with someone kinder or at least transferred to a position where she does not have to deal with the public.I believe she is also trying to bill erroneously.

Very clean and very timely

This 1 is for Beth the receptionist that just hung the phone up on me. I called in for 2 reasons, myself and my child. After explaining to her my current situation, she said we dont have anything for free well heck, I did not ask for anything for free!!! I was stating my current situation and trying to see what services or low cost services were offered. She obviously has some pre-conceived notions based off my voice and again was EXTREMELY RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and I will be heard and seriously hopes she is coached, RE trained or whatever she needs to not have this type of prejudicial behavior with anyone else!!!!! And actually based off my situation which she was too quick to judge and react in a negative manner, there are services offered based off my current circumstance!!!!

I called this morning and I couldn’t hear a greeting and she completely hung up on me! I called back and told her I needed to make an appointment for shots and she paused so long and said umm you just walk in for shots! I had no idea I just moved here and I’ve always made appointments before. Some times you should just be nice it’s 9:00am you can’t be over your day already! I’ll go back to where I’ve been going even though this one is 5 minutes away! If the entire establishment has this attitude you won’t be sticking my daughter with anything!

Every time I go I receive good and fast service. They have an overall great staff in every department. I am pleased with this one compared to the other health departments in Georgia.

My first time at Newton County Health Dept. (as a patient) was a great experience. I hate giving blood because I normally pass out, but it was 2 nurses who talked to me to make me laugh & keep my mind off of it. The Dr. Eve was wonderful. She was very nice and explained everything that she was doing. (Plus she has my moms name). I plan to return for my future appts. I wouldve gave 5 stars if I did not have to get my blood drawn. lol

This was my first experience ever dealing with any county health department. I had a very pleasant experience the staff was very kind and smiling. I would definitely recommend coming here.

I called over and over through out the day and my call was never returned. I did exactly as I was told and made my calls on Tuesday to schedule an appointment for Wednesday. Apparently this policy had abruptly changed the day before with no announcement. I made myself as flexible as possible and said I could fit in their schedule where ever possible, but was met with a cold and uncaring sentiment from whom I assume was in charge, then I was promptly shuffled to yet another answering machine to once again plead my case to deaf ears.

Wic employees are extremely rude and have no urgency at all. They’re understaffed and have horrible attitudes. I wanted to set an appointment and they made believe I was until I realized it was general walk in day. There was only 3 employees and they were all extremely rude when I asked them about the wait. I just moved to Georgia and all the government offices are understaffed and obviously underpaid.

Was in and out when I went for birth control. Nurses were professional and got me seen as soon as they could.

Stopped in for a vaccine required for work. Staff was pleasant and easy to work with.

Very helpful and pro breastfeeding.

Every time I go they are always there to help.
