Additionally, experienced in monitoring a patient’s vital signs, temperature, pulse, blood pressure and respiration, is able to keep track of the patient’s medication and when medicines should be taken including preparing meals and assist with walking, bathing and maintaining a clean and healthy environment. Sometimes, our Caregivers are asked to provide light housekeeping, is knowledgeable for First-Aid, IT skills, logistical, scheduling knowledge, physically fit with monumental patience. A Caregiver’s position requires emotional, mental and physical commitment day in and day out.At Because We Care, it is imperative that our Caregivers core be passionate, understanding and a nurturing Caregiver; an essential must have traits for all of our clients.

I want to thank Because We Care for coming through for my parents.  My parents were living in an assisted living facility, but they could not independently take care of some personal errands and activities that they still enjoyed.  Rodney was good to listen to our concerns and develop a great way for them to assist my parents when needed.  Although we were not in need of a full time caregiver it was wonderful that Because We Care still provided assistance when we needed it.  Everything worked out great.  Thank you.

This is the most unprofessional place ever I have worked here and they will tell you they going to give you clients. Then ignore your calls and text message knowing we are in a pandemic and people have bills to pay. Their communication is horrible. I don’t recommend anyone to work here.

Because We Care is the absolute BEST home health company in the Covington and surrounding areas. Rodney, the owner, and his late wife created the kindest company Ive ever had the pleasure of joining. Denise and all the other wonderful ladies in the office do a great job at scheduling and matching caregivers to clients. They dont just stick a warm body in your home, but match caregivers based on personal needs of the family and personalities that work best with each other. I love the caretakers for my dad. But the office management seems stressed, chaotic and unorganized. The scheduling lady must have quit and she made a HUGE difference. These companies pay meager wages and often times lose Great people and resources. The money shouldnt be paid at the TOP..pay it from the bottom.

My wife and I have a son who was diagnosed with a brain stem tumor when he was 14 years of age and is now 30 years old. The hell we have been thru trying to care for him is not easy when you have to work and try maintaining a normal life, we reached out to this home care provider a few years ago for help. Because we care in Covington has been a GOD send to my family… the care person who comes to our home and the staff and management are awesome. There is one thing me and my wife understand about is care for my son when we have lived at hospitals, rehab and the list goes on and on…We know about people that care and support you.
