I wish I could connect both locations in this review. I had a hair consultation for the first time ever at the Bonney lake location. She was nice but not much information was given to me. She did a test strand and everything was good. I was then sent to the Covington location for my actual appointment with a different stylist. I show up to my appointment 2 weeks later and the stylist sits me in her chair and asked me a few questions about my hair and if I was given a price quote. I was not given a price quote. The stylist seemed frustrated and walked away. She came back and told me the quote which was $201 just for the perm not including the hair cut. I understand perms take a lot of time but it was a little more than I anticipated. She then asked if I had permed hair and I said yes. I have been perms for a few years now. She proceeded to sigh and rub her forehead. She took another test strand without asking and walked away. By this time I knew I didn’t want her doing my hair no matter what this test strand told her. She comes back with my hair in her hand and had a hard time explaining to me why she won’t perm my hair. Which is fine. I just wish The communication was better between the locations. She offered to cut my hair but with the way she acted about my perm I did not want her to do anything with my hair. I found the whole experience unprofessional and the lack of communication was awful.

Ive gone twice for haircuts, first time was not very impressed with my stylist, second time really liked my stylist. Had an appointment booked with the stylist I liked, and had to book it out five or six weeks in advance due to her being popular. Been looking forward to this appointment for weeks, only to have my appointment cancelled less than an hour before I was supposed to come in due to some scheduling error. Felt like my appointment didnt really matter much to any of the people I talked to on the phone. Wont be coming back.

Services are always top notch! Your staff is amazing. CJ is seriously the BEST!!My review is more of a question that I have not been able to get an answer for when I have gone in for services. When are we going to stop paying for your PPE and cleaning supplies? Your employees are not wearing masks, you do not have plastic shields up, or doing anything different other than normal clean up between services which should be done regardless. I should not still be paying $5 for each service!! I had a hard time paying for this over the past year but your estheticians are so good I continued coming in for services. Today, I paid another $5 add-on?!? Is this just a way to make money now? Just raise your prices, honestly, it would be more transparent than this.

I have been seeing Mariah for my hair for about two years and I cannot express how much I love her work! We do fashion colors; blues, purples, magenta, oranges. We even tried rainbow! Mariah is always professional and takes her time to make sure your hair is always perfect. If its not what I say hoping for she will let me come back in and rework it; she always wants to make sure your happy with the result. If you need someone to do your fashion color look no further!!!!

Daniel Ross is the best salon in town. Mariah has been doing my hair for years, and I will never go to anyone else. Everyone time I see her, she always does exactly what I want. If I’m feeling a bit indecisive, she’ll help me pick a color that looks good on my skin and a style that’ll bring out my facial features. She never disappoints. I always leave feeling my best self! I would 100% recommend.

The cut was nice, however there were a couple of us, and we were charged full womens haircut price for a mens cut... just because of being a woman? This is pretty terrible practice and I wont be coming back because of this.

I will give one start and wont go there again, long story short I payed $540 to get a perm and it was done by the master stylist and all I got was a shorter less healthy hair with a barley noticeable wave after following all the instructions exactly and using there products !!!! Regret going there.

I just had a haircut by Amanda. I have had long hair all my life and was doing my first drastic, short pixie cut. This was my first visit to this salon and stylist. I brought pictures of the cut I wanted. Amanda really took the time to look through the pictures a couple times, asked questions, and listened to what I wanted. She nailed it! I didnt really have any expectations because my whole life I feel like I asked for one cut and got another. So I am absolutely elated that she gave me what I was asking for, especially since it was such a drastic change. She taught me how to train my hair now that its short, and how to style it. She recommended great products that actually worked once I got home. I couldnt be more pleased. Thanks Amanda!

I finally found a salon and a stylist who listen to my knees and gave me the cut I so desired. Its clean modern and I felt very comfortable going in during this covid-19 pandemic. I brought in a picture showing her the desire of style I wanted and Leah did exactly what I asked. I asked for her input to make sure the Style would match me and she thought it was a great choice. I also had highlights done and Im in love with them. My stylist Leah had the most amazing eyelash extensions and she had done there at the salon. Im looking forward to having cat do my eyelashes in the near future. Its not the cheapest place but I have found that cheaper cuts are not successful and often times they do not listen to what I asked for and I end up feeling disappointed it was well worth it to pay a little more and have the style I wanted to cut the coloring that I wanted and walking out feeling like a million bucks!

Moving recently to the area my family and I were looking for salons and figured we would try Daniel Ross. After scheduling an appointment with every indication that I was all set, we called to let them know we would be only a few minutes late to the appointment about 15 minutes before the scheduled time. We were then told by the a lady named Lexi that they had called our phone and a man had answered the phone and cancelled the appointment, this made no sense as the phone number used was my moms and her phone showed now miss calls. This lady continues to tell us it our fault and their call logs show that they called the phone number. After reading through reviews looking for an explanation it seems to be a reoccurring problem with terrible customer service. Not only was the lady on the phone blaming the customer for their own mistake, but continued to have an attitude and hostility over the phone. It has been made clear to my family and myself that this establishment has lost every single member of this family as potential customers. Terrible first impression Daniel Ross, very disappointed.

I was getting married in a couple weeks and had bought extensions, but they werent the right shade as my hair. The stylist took the time to perfectly match my hair to the extensions and correct the coloring I did during quarantine. They were amazing!!

I became a client of Mariahs two years ago and in my opinion theres simply no one better. Shes an absolute magician with color blending and flawless balayage application. Every time I leave her chair I feel like a walking piece of art. I favor bright fashion colors and she absolutely goes above and beyond every time to make sure my color is stunning.

Amanda is an amazing stylist! She listens to what you would like and then gives her professional opinion on what would make the style look better on you or with your hair type. Not every style looks good on everyone, so her professional feedback is much appreciated. The finished style is well executed and passes the true test of being easily styled at home.

Amanda was very nice and a very competent stylist. The receptionists were very helpful. My only complaint is that there were no obvious chairs in the entry area. I did see two chairs tucked in a corner but it did not look especially inviting. I am not able to stand without pain and expected to see a small, welcoming sitting area.

Saw Riley here yesterday she gave me the best balayage I’ve ever had, and hands down the best haircut I’ve ever gotten! She is so cute and fun and knowledgeable highly suggest going to her.

I have never been treated like, well, a nothing in a salon. Nothing was heard, nothing was done as asked, nothing was followed up on.The Holly girl never said more than 20 words, from the time I met her, while she was destroying my hair in a panic because she didnt hear a word I said - what worked with my hair, and when I calmly went in 3 wks later and asked her what I was supposed to do with it.I believe she started thinking maybe she should have paid attention to what I was describing - a very simple style. It works with my hair. Not the style of the year - up in back, long in front. I like that style - but not on my head! No one with a clue would have done what she did. The Style of The Year doesnt work with every head of hair.I asked for a blunt bob (weight line straight all around) and then a light, evenly layered over. I even showed her the length of the shortest layer I wanted. This is a basic cut. This is one they are supposed to learn in school. This cut is in style every single decade forever, with or without layers. It is a classic and always in style.I had finally got it to the length I needed so it would be a fresh start, and great, Ill have a nice style for the holidays! Joy! Joy! I have never had to work on my hair..it was a nightmare. Work! I usually scrunch it w sculpting lotion, dry it, scrunch again and its great. I mean, it is if its cut correctly.So Char and Daniel wanted to change up their website, so are they show a training session? Maybe? (Oct. 2014) That is not hands-on training. All I see is a guy with a smile because hes a famous platform stylist, working on a whatever hair style, and everyone looks pretty much bored in their own worlds.

Professional and friendly. The perfect atmosphere to feel pampered without being stuffy. My family and I have received consistently excellent hair cuts/ services from our stylist Brooke (Aka Briar). I love all the extra touches at the salon like the cookies, tea etc and I always shop for a few fun little hair things while Im there. I highly recommend!

I saw Mariah to do a full balayage and it was the best balayage Ive ever gotten! She knew exactly what I wanted, was quick, and easy to talk to. I wanted to go from golden brown to blonde and I was worried it wouldnt turn out, but it was better than I couldve expected and I will definitely be going back to Mariah in the future!

Leah is the absolute best. I have never found a hair stylist/colorist that I’ve been completely happy with the results. Ever since I’ve been having to color my hair I’ve been bouncing around from place to place because it’s never quite right. The haircuts have never been quite right either. But I’ve found my hair happiness with Leah! I’ve become a loyal, repeat customer. She always gets the color perfect and the way my hair moves and lays after she’s done is always just right!

At the recommendation of a friend, I went to this salon for a trim a couple months ago and I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. My stylist was Riley and, since I’m pretty clueless about hair, I was so appreciative for her input on what she thought would look best. I have very long hair and she asked me if I wanted layers and I said yes, albeit hesitantly. She told me that layers may not work best with hair as long as mine and that she would do the trim and if I still wanted layers, I could let her know and she would do them. I decided to take her advice and not do layers. Turned out great. Will definitely be back. Yay Riley:)

Madison did a great job. She listened and gave me the exact cut I was looking for, it was a change with layers etc., so it wasnt just a regular cut. I give it a 4 because of product issues. I asked about issues: hair thinning, frizz and she brought up lift. I bought the products but do not like them, the anti frizz (even used as shown) gives my hair a greasy look. More time on product application and proper product for my needs/ability of use.

Marisa was excellent. She listened to me and gave me the highlights and cut that I was looking for. Will definitely see her again!

Absolutely love this salon. We are a family of mixed girls with combination hair and the stylist always do a great job. We had Melissa and she is phenomenal. I took my sister here because she wanted to go from her magenta colored hair back to her natural color and Melissa did such an amazing job you would never know my sisters hair was colored. We will most certainly return.

I get my hair dyed by Melissa. She is amazing. She mixed all of my colors by hand when they didnt have the colors I wanted in stock.I have had her dye my hair vibrant colors 3 times so far and the fade is amazing and no major damage/frizzy after. I can not recommend this place enough.

I just went to Daniel Ross for the first time. After several years of bad and just ok haircuts at random places in town for cheap, I decided it was time to find a good stylist and salon that I could and would want to go back to. As soon as I walked in the salon, the front desk staff was lovely, the atmosphere was clean and relaxing. Sydney, my stylist, was AMAZING. She was fun, upbeat and knew EXACTLY what I wanted and needed. I am awful at knowing how to articulate what I want and she totally got what I was saying and nailed it. On top of it all, the prices were pretty dang reasonable and not that much more than what the chain places cost... the results and atmosphere was TOTALLY worth the few extra bucks.

The stylist that I had gone to for years ended up moving out of state and I was so scared to try someone new that I let my hair go for months. I decided to give Daniel Ross a try and got an appointment with Jess. Best decision ever!!! Not only have I found my new stylist but the cut it exactly what I wanted and she introduced me to products that work perfectly for my hair type and the look Ive been going for. Riley is amazing! When I ask for color suggestions she gives me options that ensure I walk out with beautiful hair. She’s my go to! Mariah is fantastic too! She cuts my daughters hair and is very creative with up-dos.

I went there for a walk in today looking for a new salon since my old hair stylist has moved. The front desk people were very friendly and helpful. The service was exceptional and well worth the cost. My hair stylist (Amanda or Ashley?) was very friendly and a great job with my hair. I will definitely be back. :)

1. Website it extremely difficult to use and Ive had problems twice now using it and it scheduling me for something completely different. Please fix.2. Asked my stylist for for 2.5 - 3 inches off; got 1.5 inches. I asked her to make it up to right below my collar bone and its a solid 3 inches below my collar bone. Also, noticing that there are long strands that werent even cut and uneven all around.3. Asked for long layers and now have a blunt cut. Didnt get ANY layers in my hair.4. Now having to go somewhere else to get fixed.5. Stylist waited for me to announce my tip at the counter before walking back. I felt obligated to give her a tip on an overall poor result.Usually have a great experience but this last time was just awful. Extremely disappointed.

It wasnt what I originally walked in thinking I was going to get, but the hairstylist was able to customize her advice based on my skin tone and hair color and I really loved how it turned out! Its good to know you can get professional advice versus having to do the research yourself.

Hi2 star from my experience.I dont mind paying $50 or $100 for a haircut so when I got there - I asked for level 6(best) master. Lady who got to do my hairs is working there for 15 years.So here is what I got for $50:-Haircut took 15 minutes (usually it takes 50)❗️-After asking me what I want, I still didnt get what I want.-It came out Very asymmetrical❗️-I had to correct shape multiple times-She used very basic techniques - more like level 1, not 6❗️-I got water in my ears-My eyebrows got trimmed, even tho I came there for haircut. I use other specialist for that.-Unpleasant experience with the front deskPositive points?-Master was friendly-I got hand wax therapy complimentaryOverall experience:Ive been in Supercuts only once in my life, Ill never go there again.Ive been in Daniel Ross salon only once in my life, Ill never go there again.People do you research before coming here. I was feeling like a washed out Muppet.Rose made sure to understand my needs. She enjoyed answering my questions about what she was doing to the hair.I walked out of there with a smile on my face & a bounce in my step.Psst... Had I not called to book the appt, I wouldnt have known about her as her profile wasnt listed. Hopefully that gets updated so more customers can know about her.

Ive been with Maddy for enough visits, so as to refer to her as my stylist. After having seen what basically qualifies as a backyard beautician for 20 years, Im still crazy uncomfortable sitting in a salon with other customers within an arms reach. This is only because I was the only customer at any given time with my late stylist (she only had 1 chair and is still alive to the best of my knowledge) and being right next to people I dont know is taking some getting used to again. Maddy (Madison) personally is just very sweet. Easy to talk to and happy to share her own stories (congratulations on your engagement to Cameron!), she just seems very down to earth. We discuss color and style (both are left up to me without any pushing from Maddy to go a certain direction), a lot of weight is put on what I tell her but I also ask for - and take - her advice and suggestions. She has already shown me that I did my hair no favors for those past 20 years; Maddy made very visible improvements to both my color (balayage versus an uninspired bleach hightlight) and style (with a superior cut, Ive been able to quit blow drying and ironing my hair straight because her scissor work brought forth something that I had no idea about - my hair is actually more than a little naturally curly!!) almost right out of the gate. I love my hair now that I have curl to work with, and virtually everyone finds the color and style very flattering. Prior to the time that Ive been with Maddy, I cant even recall the last compliment that I got from anyone other than family. And now Im going to up the ante; tonight, Im taking my son in so Maddy can cut his hair. Hes not an easy customer because he hates having his hair messed with, and Ive never been happy with a single cut hes had. Im hoping hes as happy with her as I am. Then I know that its a life match !!

My first time at this location and my first time getting my lady bits fully waxed (Went full Brazilian the first time, hoo boy talk about nervous). Id seen a lot of positive reviews so I was slightly less nervous when I went in. Cj was the wonderful lady who did my waxing and she was stellar! She was really relaxed and easy going, obviously had a lot of experience doing this and put me at ease about what to expect pain wise during and any potential discomfort or reactions afterwards. She chatted with me happily while she worked and made the whole experience 100 times easier than I thought it was going to be! Thank you guys so much an especially big thank you to CJ!! If I ever need any hair/waxing services in the future Im definitely going to be coming here in the future, hands down! ♥

Mariah is the absolute best! As a girl with very dark Asain hair, it is so hard to find a stylist who knows what to do. No brassy yellow for me! She uses her knowledge to set realistic goals for your hair, while listening completely to what you want. 10/10 recommend this sweet gal!

Went here for the first time today. Its always worrisome starting with a new hairstylist, but Sydney did an OUTSTANDING job with my cut! I will definitely be coming back!
