Friendly staff who care about the residents, very clean and beautiful outdoor areas

Clean, everyone seemed happy. No smells. Would consider living there.

The management at this facility was horrible. Goes to the ones that are a bit high up as well. Wanting to cover up, make excuses, blame residence for lack of care and inept employees. Second shift was the only shift my mother got what an elderly person should get thanks to Laziah and Sherry. The cleaning is less than desirable. Cleaning personnel went into my mothers room a total of two times between September and December of 2020, which is when I removed my mother from this facility. Camera’s were installed due to disrespect and drawers to medication being left unlocked (given an excuse that the person on shift was the only one for the three floors that day). Drawer to medication not working properly and being left unlock took over 6 months to rectify after my mother got her hands on the medication 5 times. Video, emails, texts, photos kept it all.Response to response:No one took my concerns seriously when my mom was there. Now I hear they take concerns seriously. Donna was condescending and made sure our last meeting happened in a public place, (because she wanted to protect herself? Was her reasoning) because I called her on blaming my mom for getting into the medication drawer. I CC’d to higher up all emails and still nothing was done. I removed my mom, which was better for them because they didn’t have to deal with me (and my cameras) anymore. There should be concerns for those who have no one else to speak for them.

Not worth the cost. Having said that, I believe the working staff is as good as I have seen in my 60 years of experience in the health care system. I stress working staff not a director-ship who , as a RN was not up to the job and showed no management expertise at all.In large facilities I would recommend a director with extensive personnel management experience . A RN could be a staff member if requiredAs an independent the amenities are not worth the cost and leaving is being seriously considered.
