The walk in is great but when it comes to choosing the primary care side go elsewhere. I’m not one to write a negative review but hoping this saves someone else many headaches and frustrations. Was referred to a Endo and never got in because they faxed only half of what was needed and when contacted to send the rest of my chart they STILL forgot parts needed. They wrote the wrong diagnoses in my chart. My Dermatologist requested on numerous occasions a referral and never received that also (my appointment rescheduled as a result). It’s a nightmare receiving any documents by an outside office and/or for a referral. Go elsewhere!!!!

Brooke was very attentive and took precautionary measures for an inflamed elbow including X-rays and bloodwork. Excellent service. The medical assistant and lab tech were professional and pleasant also.

Ocean state urgent care is a great place to go. The staff are great and also great baby sitter when you’re getting an X-ray done! They were all nice and efficient in their quality of work.

The staff are very professional and friendly. The doctors are great. They go above and beyond to help. My whole family goes here.

This facility is on time, easy access, no lines, and easy to arrange testing online. I travel for my job and have to be tested frequently.

We had a good experience. But it was just a little confusing where to wait. If there was a sign on the door it would have been a five star rating.

I took a bad fall outside yesterday and came to Ocean State Urgent care and everyone was super helpful ! I had a wonderful woman Doctor and she took great care of me. ALL of the girls in there were great. Especially, Britney :)

Have nothing to complain about for this Urgent Care Center. 2x Ive had the pleasure of getting Brooke and she was nothing short of amazing. The way she speaks and talks to you is quite refreshing. Shes patient and thorough and very calm. The assistants are equally great to come in contact with. With 3 boys and myself trying to be cool mom we are here a bit sometimes. Thanks to all of you.

Nice employees, quick and painless COVID test. I loved that they came out to my car and swabbed for me.

Not a very clean facility. Can’t be hard to wipe the walls down or paint. Not open on the weekends so you’ll still have to go to an ER. Can’t get in touch with anyone to get records when you call. Just a lot of unnecessary hassle.

Never had a problem here. Moving here from Attleboro it took a while to find a Healthcare place. Very happy with my primary who recommended to go into urgent care after a phone conference today. Was treated promptly, everyone there is very nice. Thank you 😊

I urge people to try ANYWHERE but here. Absolutely not helpful by any means. The urgent care is just the same. The only nice face would be the ladies at the front desk.... What is the point of having a primary care doctor that has no sick appointments available?? You call for an appointment and they don’t have any for months? So I’m stuck here sick or in pain and MY doctor can’t even see me? Then you go to the urgent care and pay ridiculous prices because you have no choice. Absolutely horrible medical services. When I was helped at urgent care their nurse or whatever she was because you never actually see A DOCTOR just screamed at me telling me I did this to myself.... Newsflash lady that’s not how it works. NEVER AGAIN.

My family and I have been using this facility for a very long time . They are fast and efficient beyond belief . It’s a walk in treatment center and I’ve usually been charged 150 to walk through the door, not here ... we pay a co-pay of $30 as we do to our primary doctor . They are amazing

The staff was extremely warming and welcoming from the moment I walked in the door. I was not only seen within an hour, but I left within the hour as well. The nurses and the doctor that saw me were all so kind and you could truly see that they had my best interest in their heart. Overall, best experience not just at an urgent care, but at a doctors office.

Everyone from start to finish was super nice and comforting. Every person told me that they hoped I felt better soon and always had a smile. The only thing that was a little rough was the waiting time but the smiles and kindness made it easier even when feeling as uncomfortable as I did when walking in.

An urgent care that truly has no sense of Urgency. According to their website, they are open 9-5 M-F and closed on weekends. I had a sore throat that felt like I was swallowing razor blades that started on Saturday, so I waited till first thing Monday morning to get help, and I arrived 45 minutes earlier before OSUC opened just so I could be the first one seen because I was so desperate and I’m so much pain. There’s a sign that they have hanging up that says, if you have any Flu Like Symptoms, you need to go sit in your car and all the phone number they left. Well I called and called and called, and no answer. So I called the moment it turned 9am, just for the receptionist to tell me that they will not treat me cause I have Flu Like Symptoms. So why did the sign tell me to go wait in my car?? If OSUC Coventry can’t treat anything that Flu or Covid-Like Symptoms, then why didn’t the sign just say that!? I wouldn’t have wasted 45 minutes of my morning waiting to be seen, in agonizing pain. I would have just left if I read “please go to X Urgent care if you have Flu-like symptoms.” So don’t waste your time going there to be treated! Try CareWell Urgent Care on Centerville RD in Warwick. They actually want to help and treat. Take that damn sign down and change it to you will not treat certain people! Making people wait to just turn them away is foolish. Just be clear from the beginning you careless jerks.

I’ve visited this Urgent Care 3 times in the past 3 weeks - cut knee for a 4yr old, busted thumb for a 12 yr old and a sprained ankle for my 15 yr old - what a month! For each of my children, the staff was amazing. Caring nurses and PAs who were thorough and pleasant. Front desk staff were always caring and attentive as well! We even came in one night 15 minutes before they closed, but never felt rushed! Thank you for the excellent care!

Although I waited almost 2 hours( urgent care). When Dr. Dyer came in to see me and heard my cough and then listened to my breathing, she was right on it. She apologized because I had to wait so long as it was serious(wasn’t her fault) and ordered an immediate x-ray. I have pneumonia. I am a person who only goes to the dr for my yearly physical. But when I heard the rattling and felt the pain in my chest, I got worried. I’m grateful to Dr. Dyer. I want her as my primary now. Thank you Dr. Dyer. Joyce Greene

In and out. Can make appointments which is very convenient for someone with flu symptoms who doesnt want to wait or put others at risk. Staff were very nice. No complaints

They were closing in 30 mins when I walked in and they were still VERY thorough and caring to my needs. I would recommend everyone to go there if needed to. Hopefully you wont but if need be thats the place to go!

The entire staff is wonderful. Ive never waited an unacceptable amount of time to be seen. People have to understand, if youre looking for the convenience of a walk-in clinic, obviously there is going to be a wait. Cheryl & Meaghan are fantastic, and the nurses/medical assistants are caring, friendly and courteous. I highly recommend for anyone who can reasonably understand that things dont always go smoothly in a busy medical practice.

Very quick. Waited about 2 minutes for a room. Nurse was great. Doctor came in and less than 2 minutes. Very efficient. Love their customer service.

Best Flu shot I’ve ever received

Staff was all nice and friendlyWent there July 3, they was unable to treat my husband so they recommend we go to the ER they took our co-pay, so when they was unable to help I ask them if they can reimburse back to my card they said they couldn’t do it there had to call billing and they would mail a check today is December 4 I’ve been calling since July still have not received $40 co pay all I keep getting is the check is in the mail!!!! The check is in the mail yea okOne star because you can take my money in a second but 5 months still can not refund

Love them I use them for my whole family when care is needed. Wait is far less then the ER on average I am in and out in under an hour though they do get busy at times. They are good with giving an estimated wait time to you if you call as well

Super efficient! All the staff were very friendly and the doctor was great. Went on my lunch hour and was in and out of there in a flash!

I went in because I did not want to wait at the emergency room for ever. Ocean State Urgent care I was literally in and out within 20 minutes. Literally so convenient and fast. Thank you !! :)

Came in to get checked out for work, sat for over 2 hours (which was the estimated wait when we came in so I can’t complain) and REPEATEDLY heard the staff talking about patients after they had left. For example, “I’m sure she only has 5 kids for the welfare checks.” We heard this as we were sitting in the farthest corner of the waiting room, meaning the staff were rudely speaking about patients loud enough for the entire lobby to hear. Insanely unprofessional. I used to come here a lot more than I have in recent years and it has apparently really gone down-hill here. If you don’t absolutely have to come here I would advise against it, because obviously they have no respect for their patients.

Long wait over 4 hrs but the PA(Brooke) was very good!Checked me out thoroughly & gave me meds that really helped me get better quickly!

It was a bit of a wait one hour in total. BUT it was worth the wait lisa and brooke did a wonderful job diagnosing my problem documenting those results and prescribing a cure. Ocean state is a great treatment center.

Very very very disappointed! called and checked on website hours of urgent care.. confirmed open until 5 pm on Saturday 8/3/2019.. arrived at 4:00-4:13 with my brother with a very deep cut to the chin due to falling on the slippery dock at a lake nearby. after arriving to the front desk the younger women had their back turned and acted like they didnt even see us and continued on with their gossip/ talking. when the young lady finished talking to her co workers she turned around and asked what happened to my brother with a bloody towel covering is chin/lower face.. He replied i dont feel well, i think i cut my chin from falling and might need stitches.. my brother didnt even finish his sentence and one of the ladies behind the counter replies. we dont have any sterile suture kits right now! i asked how long does it take to sterilize the tools needed she said it will take some time and we close at 5!!!!!? after asking why cant you help us she replied soo many patients came in today needing stitches we have to sterilize the suture kits and it takes a little while and were closing at 5.. we are in this building no later than 4:15 and she refused to help my brother.. didnt even bother to look at his cut/gash on the bottom of his chin.. she just told us he should go to the emergency room 25 minutes away from there.. my brother asked for a ice pack for his wrist as well and still did not receive any attention or care. Im sure everything is on cctv to see the interaction if there is any doubt about this situation. overall very bad experience. the nurses/ workers made a bad situation even worse. Did not give a single care in the world. i dont know why they treated us like this but we have never been treated like this before in our lives especially at a hospital/ urgent care center. my brother was in so much pain and could barley stand up. after realizing they are not willing to help with anything at all we decided we should go to a different location. i would love to speak to the director of this location and hopefully resolve some issues/ concerns regarding this location and the staff and the way they interact with potential patients.

From the minute I arrived until I left after being cared for Everyone that Helped me were so polite, courteous and very thorough. I would highly recommend this location!

Got right in & out. Got xrays & referral for ct scan, & appropriate care w/ meds & xray report & cd to take to specialist. Very kind caring staff.

Been here 3 times and every time I’ve had to wait over 2 hours just to be seen. Staff is sweet the doctor I had is friendly but the wait is absurd. Never had to wait close to 3 hours just to get into a room. Not the place to go for fast care.

Staff was great. Doctors are great. They sent me to hospital by ambulance and just in time. Had heart attack and they brought me right into the opetating room. They helped save my life.

I was hesitant because of the other reviews but I would definitely return for future services. I was in and out in under an hour and a half. My doctors office ran 2 hours behind once but sometimes in life things just happen. Anything under 2 hours at an urgent care facility is a win in my book. The service from Dickey and Dr. Phantsady was excellent and their bedside manner was wonderful! Great first experience!

The staff at Ocean State Urgent Care are incredibly kind and patient. The service is efficient and with three kids in tow, kind, safe, and efficient care is what we need!

I wasn’t sure wich nearby clinic to go to so i went based on reviews and glad i did , i must say they were all kind and helpful and seem to care!! Brooke was my dr that day and she very good at her job, tyI only gave 4 stars because I truly believe they overcharged $25 on copay , says rite on card $50 and zero deductible but she still charged $75 so who is rite? But if not for that it would b 5stars ! well thanks for the reply from the owner saying they will reimburse me $25 but i NEVER RECIEVED IT so not sure whats up with that! i also called on the matter and was directed to billing but nobody there so i left a message but NO RETURN CALL ??? Ok now few weeks later they called and confirmed that they will pay me but STILL DIDNT RECIEVE IT!! They withdrew my money in instant but to give money back to you it diff story i guess

Had some serious confusion over whether or not they were in network (new insurance). Front desk person did her best to help and was swvery friendly and professional throught. I popped in and out 3 times to get more information. Once I confirmed, I was seen, diagnosed, and discharged in under an hour.

Dont come here if you plan on doing anything else with your day. I came at 8:30am, just after their opening. I didnt get brought into a room for 2 hours, then another hour before I actually saw a doctor. I came for an infected injury and only needed someone to prescribe me antibiotics. At least give people an idea of how long the wait is going to be. Biggest waste of my time. Next time Ill spend the extra and make it over to the Minute Clinic

A HOLES sent over wrong prescription to pharmacy that my insurance wont cover and are so adamant that they sent the right one they refuse to fix the problem. My pharmacy has the prescription for Humalog. Even though i need it to be novolog so that my insurance will pay for it. Having my pharmacy send it back to them so far to no avail. Would rate them 0 stars if i could

I went to Ocean State Urgent Care this past Saturday for my sore throat. I was almost going to go to the Minute Clinic but I heard they were very thorough and affordable. I waited for maybe 20 or so minutes and was seen. Brooke the PA was so kind - she was compassionate and seemed genuinely concerned with my discomfort. They diagnosed me, printed out my treatment plan and prescription and called me today to check on how I was doing. ERs and Urgent Care Centers sometimes have a stigma of providing sub-par care, but that was clearly not the case here. Two days later, I am much more comfortable and back at work, ready for the holidays!

Absolutely rediculous. 3 hour wait... Young girl at the desk was rude and asked me what I wanted when I first showed up. Never Again. I have real bad back problems and when I have a flare up, I need to be seen. She took other people before me because mine didnt seen serious. I would recommend people not go here. The ignorance was unreal.

I was seen right away only waited about 5 maybe 10 mins from when i checked in as i was getting xrays done a nurse kept my daughter busy found out right away what was going on ans even sent over some prescriptions for me

Kept my girlfriend waiting 6 hrs for a antibiotic. Then said that the original provider had to prescribe the antibiotic cause the one on duty didnt know her.I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

Since its been taken over by Ocean State I have been here a couple times. Service is extremely slow. Have been when no one else is there and had to listen to the staff chat and joke around in back while I waited over an hour to be seen. My wife came here once with my daughter and waited over an hour and a while my child felt awful and the doctor took a break in the next room and subsequently chatted in the back. Service once I get in is ok, but its sometimes a crap shoot on the skill level of the doctor you get as there seem to be a lot of younger medical student types. Also in amazemeny that in this day in age I still have to fill out paperwork every time I come. In the end the job gets done, but service and attention to customer service needs a boost. Hoping they get better so I dont have to seek alternatives.

I always take my daughter here when she needs to be seen quick. I feel like they always diagnose her accurately and treat accordingly. there is alot of new PAs recently which i was a little weary of at first but they treat me and my 9 year old with so much respect (explaining everything to her, which at 9 yrs. old means alot to her) aside from the great service we recieve while there...we got a call 2 days later from the PA that treated her asking how she was doing! i feel like that goes along way and shows that they really do care!

Went in to have stiches removed. Place empty sat there 40 mins and got up and left and did it my self. If no one beside a doctor can do it why go.
