I graduated from this school in January of this year and have not received my degree. I payed to get my transcripts released the first week of June and they were quick to charge my payment but still have not sent out my transcripts and it is September. I tried going to the campus to pick them up myself but they said the business office can’t release them yet (keep in mind I DO NOT owe the school money for them to hold any paperwork.) I have been eager to continue my education but this school is making that impossible for me to do so.

Great experience overall. I credit Pacific College for my thorough clinical training and theory class. I have graduated here in 2010. Highly recommend it to students looking into Nursing school. The instructors are dedicated in teaching you the highest quality and help you become a successful Nurse.

Last year I completed the diploma program in vocational nursing from the Pacific College. This is the best nursing school in California. The place feels like a family, with the staff being so friendly and helpful. My instructor was awesome. Definitely worth the money because they train you really well.

Administration is not concerned about students and providing quality education. There is always good with the bad, so of course they do have some educators and staff who go above and beyond. But to say this school is quality education would be far from the truth. Graduating from here in May and recommend to any prospective Nursing student take your money and time elsewhere.

This college is a scam. they have the most under-qualified teachers and the staff treat the students like dogs. I managed to barley graduate however out of the 30 some kids that started the class with me only 7 graduated. mid semester we ended up having to absorb 20 or so students from another class because their teacher was fired for falsifying documents. The tests they give are riddled with mistakes so even if you answer the question right you can get marked down for it and they dont give you credit when you catch the mistake.EVERYONE WILL TREAT YOU REALLY NICE BEFORE YOU PAY THEM BUT ONCE THEY GET YOUR MONEY THEY WILL TREAT YOU LIKE ANIMALS. I PROMISE.MOST IMPORTANTLY: THE LVN COURSE DOES NOT COUNT FOR CREDIT ANYWHERE. IF YOU WANT TO ADVANCE TO RN YOUR GOING TO HAVE A HELL OF A TIME FINDING A BRIDGE PROGRAM THAT DOEST HAVE A TWO OR THREE YEAR WAIT LIST. YOUR BEST BET IS TO GO STRAIGHT TO RN AT A COMMUNITY COLLEGE. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. THEY TREAT THE ALUMNI EVEN WORSE THAN STUDENTS. IF YOU THINK THEY ARE GOING TO HELP YOU FIND A BRIDGE PROGRAM OR A JOB WHEN YOU GRADUATE, YOU ARE IN FOR A RUDE SURPRISE. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THIER STUDENTS OR ALUMNI!AVOID THIS SCHOOL

They have some good teachers, but the administration is very disorganized; hard to get clear information from them and on time. Overall, I had a good experience, the scheduled worked for me since I work full time. Also, it is not as expensive as other schools.

CBS news just revealed that this school refuses to issue students their diplomas one year after graduation. They also refuse to reimburse the $350 for exams as promised. Students beware!!!

Welcome to Pacific College. Where they will try to penny pinch and suck you dry of whatever funds they can get out of you. Where they will hold on to your diploma for years and give you the run around just to see how much more money they can get out of you. Where they will cheat, steal and lie. Hide from you when its time to get answers. Avoid your calls and emails. 0.0 Star communicate ratings. The only thing holding this school up is the teachers that actually care. Forget about the rest. Do your research. This school even made the news. You can pass here if you fight and work hard... buts thats about it. You will be bound to this school for life because they hold on to your paperwork and use it to extort whatever extra funds they can gain from you.

Im only giving the 4 stars to my educational and clinical experience. Nursing school was tough and at times stressful, but as long as youre dedicated and really study the material it will definitely be rewarding. I also had a really good instructor towards the end (Mrs. Mckim) My main complaint of this school is administration. They get 1 star from me and they only get 1 because there are a couple of staff members there that actually care about the students. Their lack communication to the students is what stressed me the most. Honestly the only time they were efficient with their communication is when your monthly payments were due and would most definitely hold you back if it was not paid. Admittedly, I fell behind with my payments and so I was restricted from having my nursing paperwork sent out, which is understandable, I had to pay, which I did--paid the rest of my tuition off in full. However, they took FOREVER to send out my paperwork I literally had to hound them down every single day. There were times I even had to drive up to the school to get an answer (not fun at all) they also promised students an incentive if you pass your NCLEX on the first try then they would reimburse you (350.00) I passed my NCLEX on the first try in April 2018. I have called, filled out the paperwork they requested and sent an email in regards to this incentive. I was told I would recieve it in August and it is now October, I was even told by administration well its not like the owner likes writing out all these checks lol whats a mere 350.00 to the 30,000 I have to pay back in student loans attending this school? Lol Honestly Im glad I do make decent money as an LVN. Its honestly just the principle of the matter of keeping your word to the students and having effective communication with them since they are making an investment in your school.

I was really disappointed I was already going to class for two months when they decided to tell us we can no longer attend due to the fact that class was not approved by the state board I just couldnt believe all the time and stress and lost of work time they put us thru now here we are trying to find another school. I really think it was very unprofessional now nobody returns our calls but wow in the beginning they dont stop calling you asking you to go and enroll. I am so unhappy with this school I hope nobody else has to go thru what we went thru.
