The people here really care ! Great customer service and everyone is nice.The food really is the best! I eat the food there everyday !

21 days, and exit with a bedsore. Not the place to come if youre immobile and need to use diapers instead of a bathroom. Unless you can change your own diaper while healing from a broken pelvis.The Hoag-affiliated doctor prescribed an additional heavy pain killer without discussing it with me (the daughter), even though he noted in the chart that he _had_ discussed it with me.They use jargon and acronyms when explaining things, from diet to exit procedures.Several patients were demented and loud about it. Some wandered about. One slammed the bathroom door in my mothers room; she was not a roommate. The first roommate complained loudly about having to share the room; my mother was moved. The next roommate checked out early, feeling that her condition was deteriorating. Another roommate petted my mother affectionately; _we_ requested a new room.Note that lots of the reviews are by employees about what a great place this is to work. They didnt seem so thrilled to be there when tending patients.BTW, the exit report never mentioned the bedsore; we discovered it during the first diaper change at the next location, a Board and Care home.Avoid VHC.

Born leaders work at Victoria Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. Everyone is engaged and genuinely in good spirits. The staff is warm and personable. It truly is a work family. This facility is well managed and structured. The Administrator is caring and devoted to his employees. The Director of Nursing is involved in every aspect of the care for the residents. The nurses have unconditional compassion for their patients. I once heard a nurse tell her patient “thank you for letting us take care for you”. The bedside manner is very nurturing & professional. There is a special bond between nurses and their patients at Victoria Healthcare. I highly recommend this nursing home. You know your loved ones will be in good care.

I’ve worked here for the past 6 months and have loved it. I feel like i’m part of a family whenever I’m there. I try to get on to the floor as often as I can, and I love it. I do whatever I can to help the residents and being a smile to their faces. The staff is amazing and so responsive and positive towards everyone. Times are tough right now, but they leave whatever they are dealing with at the door so they can give 150% to everyone to help. It’s such a great facility!!

It was a tough choice selecting a facility, but my family and I know we made the right choice. Staff seemed to genuinely care, and always communicated with us. I have worked here for over 5 years and have had the most amazing experiences. The residents are so great and it is wonderful to interact with them. Victoria has hard working, caring employees. This is a great place to send your loved ones if they need extra rehabilitation to get back on their feet.

2020 has definitely been a tough year for everyone...regular civilians and especially frontline workers. We took our grandfather there for 2 reasons, it was close by and the facility came highly recommended. My familys health always comes first so I took that recommendation and was thrilled at the services we received. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. my grandfather was very happy there and when we did talk to him, he would tell us about his day and how his nurse took care of him. In the event I needed these services again, I would definitely come back.

My grandmother has been staying at Victoria Healthcare for some time now, and we knew from the start that she & my family would be in good hands. From the facility itself to each and every staff member we’ve encountered has been nothing but positive. Even though we haven’t been able to visit my grandmother due to COVID-19, we are grateful for the great communication and daily care from this facility and the staff. Victoria Healthcare is one of the utmost facility when providing care for those in needs. I had seen it in years when I had the opportunity of working there. If it wasn’t for my relocation, I had enjoyed coming to work everyday. The facility is very clean and the garden that gives each of our patient some soothing experience during their activities and sessions with their physical therapy. Each employee takes pride of their work from physical therapy, nursing, and dietary department. The unity of this team reflects the years of service most of the employees in Victoria Healthcare Center.

Ive worked into many and different nursing facilities around Orange County and Victoria Healthcare is by far the best place that Ive been into. Not only the building and the rooms are clean and safe, but the people; from CNA, Nurses, and Administrators are all great and knowledgeable. They are all trustworthy, work as a team, and prioritize the safety and dignity of the residents. I highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a place for their loved ones.

I was working as a EMT in orange county and drop many patients here at this facility before. The workers; nurses, care givers, and other staff were very professional and caring. The facility is clean and well kept. Would definitely recommend any friend or family that need rehab therapy or care to come here

Exemplary leadership. Contentious personal service. I was nursed back to health after falling ill. The rehab team helped me get back my strength. The food tasted homemade & I swear it had healing properties. The activities girls had beautiful smiles and brightened up my day. Great job Victoria Healthcare center!

My family and I dreaded the thought of my father needing care in a skilled nursing. THANK goodness for Victoria Healthcare. My dad became a frequent faller this year and after his last fall, he needed care and therapy. He was at a previous therapy building that was good, but not for him because the were too aggressive on time. I brought him to Victoria because they are a 5 star facility and heard the have amazing staff. They really do!Hes been so happy, and loves the care he has received. I think he was hoping to spend the rest of his days there. His stay lasted about 6 weeks. We can not believe the progress hes made. Thank you VHC for taking care of our dad!

I have been working with Victoria Healthcare for 7 months. Everybody who works there are very helpful and friendly. We have teamwork, everybody helps each other and they’re treat all the employees like family. The food isnt too bad. People are nice. No smell. I visited when i was a child - it was a convalescent home - so much different now. It is clean and They are on top of it.

I’m rating 5 stars because the the nurses and staff are really nice and attentive. They treat people like human beings and not just as patients. They’re also extremely friendly and answer your questions.

I heard so much good things to this facilities, clean, staffs are caring, management is very good! Victoria healthcare is a good place for elderly people who need care.My 90 year old mother is staying there two years now and I am satisfying with their caring service.Facility is clean and well maintained, and staffs are kind and actively working there.

This is a very clean facility. I would recommend it to anyone needing rehabilitation or 24hr nursing care. I had the opportunity of working on a construction project at this property. I spent over a month, 5 days a week, 8+ hours a day here and never heard a single complaint by a family member or an employee.

Clean! Covid safety is at its best. I remember coming to nursing homes and being able to read and play board games with the elderly as child. This is the facility that makes you want to do that. The staff is friendly and if I had to choose a site for a loved one of my own this would be it.

The staff at Victoria were exceptionally helpful and courteous. They took the time to assist me, answer all my questions, and to address any of my concerns. They maintain strict standards when it comes to COVID-19 and constantly ensure the safety of patients and staff. The location near Hoag hospital makes it ideal. I would definitely recommend Victoria to anyone looking to place their loved one in place where they can rehabilitate and recover.

Transitioning into Victoria Healthcare Center has been an easier move for Kelly Young, the new Nutrition Director, due to the committed staff already in place. Ms. Young cites the dedicated administrator, plus the devoted nurses and staff, have created a pleasant environment for the residents. This is always important in a retirement home, but even more so during Covid. With Ms. Young bringing her expertise in nutrition for healthcare facilities, she is a nice addition to the well run facility.Linda Norton

I have been dealing with the team at Victoria Healthcare Center off and on for close to most of this past decade, both on the personal side and the professional side. My good friend’s mother was a patient there and their medical team went above and beyond to ensure that his mother was cared for and that the Family was kept in the loop at all times.On the professional side, I have had the opportunity to contract as a vendor of VHC and their management and administration team went equally as above and beyond to ensure that our service levels did not go unnoticed and that my staff was treated like one of their own, whenever onsite.

My best friends mother is hospitalized here, so I visited her last spring, met her mother, and looked around the hospital and felt that it was a nice place. First of all, it was clean and secondly, it was really good to treat patients with a smile despite the kindness and hardship of the nurses.

My grandmother is currently staying here and it’s been a very pleasant experience for her and our family. Would recommend this place!

I was there in March 2021 &the staff was kind & nice,but unfortunately my heart rate goes to 165 and I kept begging to go to ER, but they waited til the next day and I got very ill and I had to stay at the hospital for a week. :(

This facility is staffed with a professional group of healthcare workers that are talented, focused, and have lot of empathy for their patients. It is a patient-centered facility that puts the patient first and takes care of all their needs. The care, treament, and services provided here is the best in Orange County. I highly recommend this rehabilitation center for short-term and long-term care.

I am truly grateful to the wonderful people of Victoria Healthcare Center especially Ms. MJ Park and Mr Jose Chavez, they run a really tight ship, and they manage to keep this place a safe places for patients like one of our residents. In this Covid-era, I know that getting into one of the rehabilitation places is scary, but our client who was here for almost 3 weeks is so grateful, thanks for the warm, gentle and kind-hearted staff who were there all the time for him. He came home and back to his old self. Kudos to all of you... MJ & Jose, Mr Joe will see you back to visit, if the place opens for guests...

Both the inside and outside of this facility is maintained to the highest standard. The outside grounds provides a beautiful setting that residents and families can enjoy (before COVID-19). This facility is truly the preferred facility in all of Orange County.The staff at this building are dedicated to providing excellent care and making our residents and patients feel like a part of our family. The therapist at Victoria Healthcare are truly in a league of their own. The therapy team is friendly and encouraging, but will also give patients and residents that extra motivation to fight through the difficulties of therapy to get them stronger.
