This is a volume establishment where a patient is a number and a hassle. I am often overlooked for my medication, my appointments are canceled or changed without any notice, and staff does not return calls in a timely fashion. There is no dedication to health in general its a factory for people with medicare or private insurance, merely for a pay out. I treat with random nurse practitioners or doctors that are not Dr. Alva and My mental health concerns are not thoroughly addressed. The poor quality of care, urgency and attention is a poor reflection of the mental health medicine and practice and a complete disgrace to the medical profession as a whole.

The office staff is completely incompetent. They never answer the phone, dont refill prescription requests, return messages and left me on hold to make an appointment for half an hour. I still was unable to make an appointment. If youre looking for a psychiatrist go somewhere else where youll be properly taken care of. If you are in charge and are reading this get rid of everyone in your office and get a new phone system.

Best psychiatrist I’ve ever been to. I’ve been going to psychiatrics for Many years and he’s been the best. Hes nice, very knowledgeable, and welcoming. And the wait isnt long at all when you enter the waiting room . The staff is very nice as well. I would definitely recommend!!!

Phone is the first problem. put interminable hold to be answered by autotran saying leave a message every time I called. Then told my first appointment would be with a nurse electronically. Gee, thanks. Going to get the real help I need,.. especially after dealing with Alva and his operation.
