I have been going to Vanek dentistry for years now. He has really saved me and my husbands oral health. Dr. Vanek and his team are genuinely kind, intelligent and honest. I feel very safe under his and his staff’s care.

Dr Vanek and his staff are incredible - he is a great communicator, his staff is friendly and their work is magnificent. I started with the hygienist to deep clean which was way overdue, she was amazing and helped me get my gums and mouth ready for the treatment - she is superb! Dr Vanek led me through the full “remodel” of my smile and performed the work expeditiously and I couldn’t be happier with the results - I can smile now with confidence - I highly recommend Dr Vanek and his staff, the care this group gives is simply the best!

Doc Vanek RULES! he’s solving all my dental problems!! and believe me I had a lot of dental problems. Just recently a friend out of the blue payed me a compliment saying my smile looked amazing... it had been a long long really long while since i’ve heard that one and it just made my whole year!!!! My experience as a patient was beyond 5 stars.Dr. Vanek keeps you informed step by step throughout the entire procedure. He was super gentle when it came to giving me anesthetic. I didnt even feel it. Next thing I knew, I was numb. My crown fit perfectly. I love the fact that his lab is on site. I already had my family schedule their appointments.

Dr Vanek and his staff are excellent communicators and offer great service. I was very nervous about getting my wisdom teeth removed. but they made the process extremely easy as well as helping with the recovery. 5 stars

Dr. V and staff are fantastic! I broke a crown on a Friday night and He came in on Monday morning and fix it right away. Despite being out of warranty, only charged me for a regular visit. My family goes here and my kids have known no other dentist but Dr. V. Top notch from the staff to the hygienist all the way to Dr. Vanek, couldnt recommend them more. A++

A couple months ago, on a Friday, I was having excruciating tooth pain. My normal DDS refused to take me because they were booked for that day. I googled “emergency dentist near me” which is how I found Dr. Vanek’s office. I called immediately, and I was greeted with such warmth and concern over the phone by the receptionist. She listened to my concerns, could hear how much pain I was in and graciously fit me in right then and there even though they close at 2:00pm on Friday’s. When I arrived at their office I was taken back right away. I was given a numbing shot for the pain and they took x-rays to see what the problem was. As it turned out, I had an infection where a 10-year-old root canal was done. It was not pretty. Dr. Vanek and his team took action immediately while telling me exactly what they were going to do, step-by-step along the way to make sure I was comfortable. Everything was explained to me very clearly with my estimates already drawn up as well. I really appreciate the transparency at this office and not feeling like I was forced to have any work done. Because of this experience, I am now a permanent patient of Dr. Vanek.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They even asked my favorite color and changed the waiting room light to match it. The cleaning and exam was thorough and I was able to see exatly what my teeth looked like visually with digital pictures. It was a great visit.

I was in Costa Mesa needed some emergency dental work. I found Dr. Vanek he was very accommodating squeezed me in to his schedule. He was very thorough in his explanation of what the best course of treatment would be. I thought my only option was an extraction but Dr. Vanek said he was able to save the tooth. Hooray!

I have been a client of Dr. V for more than a year now and he has helped me through some pretty terrible times.I first went in with an emergency to re-cement a crown that was poorly done by another dentist. I was so happy with the experience that I ended up coming back and signing up on their in-house discount plan and got what was a MUCH needed cleaning done.Dr. V is very straight forward and does not pressure you into un-needed dental work, like so many other dentists do. He also tells you exactly what he is doing when he is doing it, which I personally really like.I have had a couple emergencies come up, with a lot of pain involved, and Dr. V has done everything he could to get me in as quickly as possible (usually within 30 minutes of me calling) and getting me out of pain as fast as possible.The staff is great as well. Jonathan has been the assistant for much of the work I have had done and he is great. Always has a smile on his face and makes you feel very comfortable. The front office staff is great too.I recommend this office very highly!

I had a terrible toothache and was on vacation. Dr. Vs office was right next door to my hotel. I was seen immediately and treated quickly. The extraction was affordable, payment was explained very clearly. The doctor was educational and tender. I would recommend his staff and thus doctor. If I move back to California he will be my dentist. Thanks Dr. V.

I went a little longer than you should in between teeth cleanings, and was a bit nervous about my check-up and cleaning! But when I arrived, my hygienist, Jodi made me feel at ease. She asked a few questions and did a thorough examination before my cleaning. She was patient and took great care in making my cleaning as painless as possible! Dr. V also met with me and made a few suggestions to keep my teeth and mouth healthy. The office itself is also very warm and inviting and I already made my next appointment to get back into the routine of regular check-ups and cleanings again!

Dr. Vanek is incredibly knowledgeable. His ability to explain things simply puts him a step beyond any other dentist Ive ever met. The facility is extremely clean and hygienic and the staff is wonderful. I would highly recommend him (and have).

I usually dont take the time to write a review...and I even took the time to upgrade to G+ to write this one. To me going to the dentist is like getting my hair done...I love it, but Im picky. Ive been to Dr. Eric 3 times now & Ive been beyond impressed every time. About absolutely every thing. You can stop looking for a dentist now, youve found the right man with the right team.

My fiance has been going to Dr. Vanek for the past 2 years. I usually dont write a review for a dentist that I have not been too myself. However, my fiance has had a wisdom tooth extraction and a filling done and has not had any pain other then a little soreness. Crazy Right!! Jodie the dental hyg. and the staff are all friendly, however, the discerning part of me feels like its all a cover up in order to up sale. Ive been a faithful patient for 2 years and unfortunately I was deceived today....which makes me sad that people feel the need to do this to innocent patients. Thankfully, I am in the financial position to pay for what they demanded (without tell me cost ahead of time) but what if I wasnt? What if I needed that money to feed my children or pay my rent? It breaks my heart that they would do this and Im glad it was to me and not someone who was really in need. Too bad they think a few bucks is worth losing a whole family over.

Not much into going to the dentist and had not be to one in some time so was not expecting anything but pain. I can say that this office not only didnt cause any pain but they also kept me very informed to what was going on with my teeth which I had not ever experienced. I have gone 2 times and have had a good experience on each visit.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Vanek and his staff! I chipped my front tooth when I was a little girl and have always had a filling there. You could always see the line of the filling on the tooth and mild discoloration. I thought this was as good as it could get and have lived with it self-consciously for years...until I met Dr. Vanek. He took one look at it and said he could absolutely fix it. I am a nervous dental patient, so even though I was very excited to get my tooth fixed, I put it off for several months. After yesterdays experience, I have not idea why I waited so long. Dr. Vanek explained everything up front and also step by step while doing the procedure. I had no pain or discomfort at all and the results literally brought tears to my eyes! My tooth looks fantastic!! you cant see where the filling is at all. In fact, I actually had to ask Dr. Vanek which tooth it was that he fixed after it was done as it looks exactly like my undamaged front tooth. He was even able to remove those pesky bright-white calcium deposits left over from my braces years ago. At 40, my teeth look more beautiful than they ever have and I have been smiling non-stop! From the bottom of my heart, thank you to Dr. Vanek and all of your wonderful staff for your skill, compassion and understanding...I couldnt be happier with the results!

I came to see Dr Vanek to get a tooth extracted, he informed me that he would still be able to save my tooth and that and that extraction was the worse case scenario. I was terrified when he told me I need a root canal but it was QUICK and PAINLESS. My mouth was back to normal in 2 days. Thank you Dr V for being such a great Dentist!

I recently had a filling on my front tooth break off. My own fault. Dont bite your nails. I found the dr by looking online for a dentist close to Costa Mesa. He fixed my two front teeth , which now look amazing! He was like an artist fixing my front teeth. Couldnt be happier. He now has a life long client! If your are looking for a dentist in Costa mesa look no further he is the real deal!

I had my tooth break the afternoon before I left for SEMA. Dr. Vanek, not only cleaned up the mess but gave me an onlay to get through until I could see him when I got back...painlessly.Ive been looking for a dentist who is gentle, thorough and non - judgemental...found one!!!

I was fortunate enough to go back to Dr.Vanek today (I had gone to him for years before I lost my PPO insurance but I finally got it back). Anyways , he is the Best!My previous Dentist with my HMO was suggesting a possible crown for an old filling where the tooth was starting to crack a tiny bit, and it was located in the back of my mouth in a hard to reach area. I put it off as I was dreading that procedure. I was happy to discover that I still had Dr.Vaneks # stored in my phone. I went in for a consult today & he remembered me after 3 years ! He offered to take care of it then and there. Of course that was not my intention today, but I got it over with and he even saved my tooth :) Im one who gets anxiety about even having my teeth cleaned. Silly , I know but thats just how Ive always been. So today, when I decided to have that tooth fixed I could feel myself tensing up before he even started. He suggested the Nitrous Oxide so I tried it . It made a huge difference. If youre anything like me its well worth the additional cost.Hes very gentle & I felt no discomfort , its the sounds that give me the anxiety (even with head phones on).One other thing I want to say about him is that I trust him. Hes not one of those Dentists that will recommend work that you dont need. Ill never go to anyone else again !

Dr. Vaneks office is awesome. He is always full of energy and happy to see all of his clients, and the new office make-over is incredible. Dr. V is knowledgeable and approachable and will make sure that he takes time to answer any questions you have. His staff are thorough and friendly and I left the office with a good feeling.
