Very disappointed at the lack of care I received after getting my teeth cleaned. It was great up until meeting with the dentist about needing a deep clean which I thought was part of the new patient 6 month clean. Nope. Then after feeling what was an advertisement for invisalign and having someone go over the break down of the costs I felt like a number not a patient. Im not a hygienist but I expected more from the cleaning than a decent polish and cleaning only to a small area in my mouth, and then that was it. No cleaning between my teeth. No flossing. Ive been to way too many offices to notice when Ive been short handed in my care.

Had treatments done by Dr. Sahawneh and from the hygienist (Neven) and had a fantastic experience. Both treatments were super easy, they were gentle, and painless. I will definitely be a long term customer

Neven was the dental hygienist who gave me a great deep cleaning, she really did manage to remove all my tartar (which I had a lot of) and my teeth have never looked cleaner!

When we figured out my treatment plan, and what I could pay out of pocket at that time, Dr. Sahawneh was able to work with me so I could go home with relief and feeling 1000% better! Very professional office. I had a great experience at this Costa Mesa location. The office was very clean and organized. The staff is amazing. Great attitude, great communication throughout my whole process. I didn’t have to wait long. They saw me right at my appointment time. The whole staff makes you feel comfortable and relaxed during your visit. From the person who checked me in, to the person who did my X-rays , to the person who review my treatment plan, to the Hygienist Bahar that did a wonderful job with my cleaning, to the calm and relaxed dentist with her assistants that did my implant were all professional and knew how to treat a patient.I would refer this location to anyone that needs any dental work.

DO NOT COME HERE! These people are nothing but scam artists. I went in for a routine checkup and cleaning. I was promptly rushed through my appointment, with them trying to frighten, scare and coerce me into $6,000 worth of work, which I refused. Despite me saying that I did not want to do that work, which was not necessary, they tried to trick me into signing the dotted line for that $6,000 worth of work. They sent pre-authorization for an unnecessary deep cleaning which wouldve also cost me out of pocket and wouldve meant numbing my mouth to clean my teeth -- all so they could make some extra money out of that. I asked if I could get my teeth cleaned that day (which is all I came in for). They had someone brush my teeth for me, not fully rinse my mouth out, and shoved me out the door. I left their office in tears after feeling bullied and pressured. I called them to cancel anything they were going to try to send to my insurance as I never wanted to go back there again. They said that they did this. Months later, they billed me for a cleaning they never gave me anyway, which is preventing me now from even being able to get my teeth cleaned anywhere else without paying out of pocket. Moreover, they lied to me -- neglecting to tell me about a few cavities that could not have magically appeared in the time since seeing them. So they tried to rip me off, pressured me, didnt do what I asked, lied to me, and screwed me over. I have been trying to get this resolved with numerous calls to my insurance after filing official complaints and trying to clear things up. This has cost me months of my time and frustration. SO I repeat -- DO NOT COME HERE. These people appear to be scam artists, trying to do anything and everything they can to get money out of you or your insurance, while providing no actual help to your health. This isnt how businesses should operate and you should take your business to a company that will actually try to do their jobs and benefit your dental health, not pressure and scare you into giving them thousands of dollars.

I had the best experience with BrightNow dental and Dr. Shorouq Sahawneh! Super clean, honest, and made me feel comfortable the entire time. The office is staffed with true professionals and I felt like they really cared. Didn’t feel taken advantage of or pressured to do anything. She is very thorough and honest which is hard to find nowadays so I am beyond happy I got the chance to have her as my hygienist. I do not recommend this dental office. I came here after not seeing a dentist for awhile. I trusted them and they seemed great. I later found out while talking with my insurance with the treatment plan provided by Bright Now to inquire which insurance would have the best coverage for my treatment plan; Cigna informed that I had been getting over charged for services covered by my insurance. I made it clear I could not afford the treatment plan and they offered me a credit card/financing to pay for them to literally scam me for things my insurance covered. On a credit card!!! Then my inlay they over charged me for by $600 and I got 2 have come uncemented twice now. I am not eating anything crazy or sticky. The work is just poor or the adhesive is poor. I called the office first thing this morning to see if I could get my inlay fixed and I was given an appointment time of 11:20am. I get the appointment approved to leave work and have to fill out a leave of absence- I missing money to find out that my doctor was not actually there. They could not take me today. I now have an appointment with a dentist tomorrow that is not even in my insurance network just to fix this mess. I have to lose money again taking time off work and now pay for another dentist to fix this terrible work that is incompetent. The front desk person said she called me and left a message about my appointment today and that I was not going to be able to be seen today, but my phone had no missed calls or messages. Save yourself the time, money and headache. Go somewhere else.

I have come here a handful of times and had to wait over an hour for my appointment to begin every single time. The dentist does amazing work, she did veneers and they look amazing. I’ve had to wait in the waiting room before for over 30, 45 minutes with no explanation. Every time, I get taken back and then have to sit and wait in the chair for no reason. No one checks on me, no one explains why I’ve been waiting for so long. My last appointment yesterday, there were no other patients besides me and I still sat in the chair for over 45 minutes waiting for my cleaning to begin. I watched a customer come in and sit down and get his cleaning immediately started. I will not be coming back after having over 5 appointments here and having to wait like this every single time, it’s very unreasonable. I appreciate the work by the dentist but I don’t appreciate having to wait 45 minutes to an hour in the chair for a basic cleaning.

I left a previous review, and I stand by the cleaner, but the dentist is terrible. I know a bit more now; the receptionist doesnt bother telling you anything about insurance or what is covered/not covered. The dentist didnt bother to answer my one question. I was sent out to the receptionist after my cleaning and I had to call her back out to request information as she didnt help, ask me anything, or provide any answers. The whole time she was more interested in selling me INVISALIGN. Please, PLEASE go somewhere more professional.

It had been 12 years since Ive been to the dentist. TWELVE YEARS. Yes, I had some serious issues that Dr. Sahawneh had to work through. Finally came because I had insurance again, AND I had a toothache that was sending me into ORBIT.Dr. Sahawneh fixed me right up...root canal, drilling and temporary crown, plus antibiotics for the infection and painkillers for the intense pain (not THEIR doing). She really has a demeanor that made me feel safe and comfortable.Wendy assisted and took X-rays...she was awesome. Luis helped with the temporary crown...he was also great! All-in-all, this whole crew is warm and nurturing, very caring and good at what they do. Very COVID-safe and just a happy bunch. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!No pictures...because who wants to see pictures of a dental visit? (OK...besides the staff...)Come & see Dr. Sahawneh. Youll be glad you did.

I had just gotten dental insurance and made an appointment to get X-rays, a cleaning, and to see if I wanted to make this my regular dentist. I made that clear at the start that I want basic services covered by my insurance. They made me wait an hour to see the first person, the tech who took my X-rays which went smoothly as expected, but then made me wait 10+ min between seeing multiple others for a consult and cleaning.The Dr. I received a consult from spent maybe 1 min looking at my teeth with minimal effort before pushing Invisalign and a deep cleaning, not covered by my insurance, onto me. I told her I wanted a basic cleaning, thats it. I know what coverage I have but they only wanted to sell me on services that make them money. Paperwork was pushed into my face for me to sign approving things I did not ask for between waiting extended periods for someone to come back and continue to ignore what I was saying. Finally when they agreed to do a basic cleaning, the hygienist barely cleaned my teeth at all and it didnt feel like they took the care or precautions to keep the tools and the environment safe and clean during covid, let alone standard health practices.Not 1 person in this office listened to me about what I was there for and they did not know what to do when I said no to their expensive and optional services. They made the absolute worst first impression and Im looking for someone else to see that wont disrespect my time and teeth the way they did.

They are very kind. theyre also extremely good at explaining their procedures. they create you are feeling good about being there. Their staff is additionally great and therefore the prices are fair.

First time to visit this Dentist. Needed tooth pulled and an implant set. They were able to do this immediately. The Dentist is fantastic. First time I didn’t feel the numbing shots. Wowie a miracle. The surgery was almost totally pain free. What impressed me the most is how the Dr treats her staff. So professional and kind. Shows what a great compassionate Dr she is. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. I went in for a regular cleaning, and specifically said I wasn’t interested in Invisalign or anything more complicated. The X-ray technician was perfectly fine, but as soon as I was in the chair for my cleaning, they started a ridiculously hard sell on Invisalign, including doing a scan, in spite of me repeatedly saying I wasn’t interested. Then they started to upsell other services, again, with me saying I just wanted the base cleaning my insurance covered (I don’t have perfect teeth, but no dentist I’ve ever been to before, including one I visited 6 months ago has ever suggested anything similar). When I finally said I would just leave since they were making me feel so uncomfortable, they said they’d do a polish, which was the most perfunctory one I’ve ever experienced. I wish I had walked out.

So first of all I’m pretty sure they used one of those mirrors they use to look at your teeth they was not clean. All the utensils were covered in water spots. So I can’t get the idea out of my head that it was in someone’s else’s mouth before. Next, they refused to give me antibiotics for an infection that’s causing an ear ache. They only want to pull three teeth out and have bone graphs and disregard my want to have bridges. And hurry up and sigh the papers agreeing to pay. Which shows me they don’t care about the patient just the money. Last, they are only offering 800 line of credit for me. I have a credit score of 760. They want 1600 down. That’s insane. Western dental gave me a 2500 line of credit when I was in a way worse financial situation. Don’t come here. It’s a strip mall dentist for a reason. Cuz they aren’t that good.

They spoke to me every step of the way for what they were doing, letting me know to inform them if i was in any pain. With all the mouth pain i experience i was nervous to say the least but it was over before i knew it. I will be gladly recommending Bright Now! Dental to any person that asks me. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. They don’t care about the client and are only in it for the money. Wasted several hours of my time and forced me into a “deep cleaning” that produced results much worse than any standard cleaning I’ve ever had. Cristal the office manager is rude and pushy. The dentist didn’t even look at my teeth for more than 30 seconds without any tools and said I needed a deep cleaning even though my gums are perfectly healthy. Neven the hygienist was actually proud of her work and said, “I bet you’ve never had a cleaning that thorough before.” I said that I never had a “deep cleaning” before but had better cleanings every time before. I went into the bathroom and looked at her cleaning job but she didn’t even do one quarter of my mouth even though I paid for a full mouth deep cleaning. She said she’d get it clean with polishing. The end results are the worst I’ve ever had and I definitely don’t have that clean after the dentist feel in my mouth or satisfaction. Do not go to this dentist office under any circumstance you’ll regret it.

Bright Now Dental in Costa Mesa is the BEST dentist office I have ever been to in my entire life. Not only for myself but my kids as well. Two of my children have Invisalign and my son was the most recent one. He’s not the bravest kid out there when it comes to going to the dentist but the entire staff like always was so calm, caring and considerate that it made his experience so much better! They dealt with his crying and a little scream but that was him just being him. The staff goes above and beyond to make all my kids and my self feel so comfortable and welcomed I feel like family every time I walk through those doors! I can’t imagine a better place!! Thank you once again everyone at Bright Now Dental Costa Mesa for making my sons experience a great one and going far beyond my expectations!!

I learned about this dentist office from a flyer, so I decided to give them a try. On the day of my appointment I was warmly greeted by the receptionist Maria. I had virtually no wait .I was taken back for x rays, saw a hygienist and a dentist. Every single person was so friendly, respectful and attentive. I genuinely feel like they were willing to address my concerns. They seem to have finance options readily available to patients. Overall, this place is great and Im so happy with my selection.

I regret going here now, i didnt get the service i thought i would.They went straight to the cleaning without asking or me being aware of deductibles. i got my teeth cleaned out and after i was done, i ended up being charged over $200. (keep in mind i told both dentist that i havent done any cleaning due to not having insurance for a while). I felt like they just did it for the money, they didnt care that i was a first time client there. Very Disappointing. Front desk lady tried to help. and i told her why didnt they give me a notice before doing the service. so i ended up paying what i could at that time which was $50.
