I have long, mostly straight hair and have gotten my last two haircuts from Michelle. I cant recommend her enough, shes so personable and talented. My latest haircut is the best Ive gotten in years and I couldnt be happier. Even though I get a pretty simple cut Michelle takes her time and I appreciate that. Its not a cheap salon but your hair is worth it! The parking lot is small but Ive never had trouble getting a spot. When I scheduled my last appointment I had to wait about a week, but considering I was only available in the evening I think thats good. Overall Im happy I found this salon!

I went to this place for the second time and I liked my first haircut. Unfortunately, the previous hair dresser did not longer work there and I was assigned to a very inexperienced hair dresser. I told her I didn’t want to cut my hair too much and she must have cut 2” or more. I have wavy hair and becomes super curly when short which makes it look even shorter. Now I am going to need to blow dry while it grows back. Very disappointed. Not at all the style I had in mind. Needless to say, I will never be back and I do not recommend this place.

TL;DR - They do not respect you or your time. Dont expect appointments to be honored. Your wait time may be over an hour with zero communication about it.Originally, I had called a week in advance to get my hair done for the holiday weekend. I was scheduled for 1:45 and looked forward to a little self care. I was called the day before my appointment to see if I could come in at 2:15 instead---to which I agreed. I was reeeeally looking forward to my hair.On the day of, I arrived and was checked in (I assume). I waited in the lobby to be called. About 30 minutes goes by and another customer walked in, was checked in, and was taken in a matter of minutes. Now, I dont know what THEIR schedule had been so I let it go.Another 30 minutes+ goes by and during my hour+ wait time, I was never checked on. Not even once. I work in customer service and so I know things happen from time to time that is just out of your control---I understand that but there was absolutely zero communication with me. It didnt help that one of the stylists was having a conversation with their client about how slow it was today.Eventually I gave up and asked someone passing by what was going on. She commented about how I had been waiting a bit and so went to check on who I was supposed to see...she needed ANOTHER 20 minutes. At that point, I was fed up. Had any of this been communicated with me, I would have been fine and stayed regardless of the wait time. Again, I really wanted my hair done for a little me time.I could tell that the person who went to check on my appointed stylist felt bad and so I heard her asking some other girl if she could do something for me but they didnt seem very keen to accommodate. That was my last straw and I ended up leaving with nothing done and an anticipated celebratory weekend down the drain.I dont think Ill ever come back despite how much I wanted to come here. They just dont seem to care about schedules, appointments, or people.

This is a family owned business. Been going to get my haircut by Caroline for over 10 years. My entire family goes here now. Huge open space. Makes you feel young again. In the good times before Covid you could get a glass of wine. They even have beer on tap. It will be allowed soon... crossing my fingers.Very funky fun and cool. Always local art on the wall. Very fun around Halloween.

I am very happy with my hair cut and perm by Gods & Heros! They gave me the hair style I want even though the pictures I showed are not the clearest. The process also only took about 1 and 1/2 hours which is way quicker than I expected. In addition, people in the salon are also very friendly and genuine. Will definitely come back again!

Great from the first call to the payment process.I called and asked for an appt and got one at exactly the time i wanted same day.Came early and he moved it up for me no problem. they offered me drinks while i waited and were super friendly. Theo was awesome to talk to and work with. He met my needs without me needing to say anything.It was a great experience and at the end, paying was super fast and easy and totally digital of need be.I didnt see any costs for things on receipts or on a board i could see.But I had a short trim cut and a conditioning treatment with style to finish, $95.

The price I was charged would say a professional with experience cut my hair but the person who cut my hair had no clue how to cut mens hair. Cant believe I was set up an appointment with that person.For men, this is not a good place to get haircuts from my experience.

Great hair place with a delectable aesthetic. It really sticks to the edgy artsy vibe through both its decoration and even some employees. The interior decoration is quite entertaining and all the artwork on the walls is for sale. Exceptional customer service and hair stylists. Jessie has been cutting my hair for over a decade and that doesnt seem like its going to change soon. Highly recommend.

You know what the different between a good haircut and a bad haircut? Two weeks.I’m on week 6 and this haircut is still Horrible. I have easy hair and can’t believe how goofy it still looks.Also; as an interior designer concerned with building code compliance for safety, this place is dangerous!! There are cords strung across every path and egress is Not clear ~ seriously dangerous.

Krystina is the best! Shes great at taking style pointers and creating something that works great with your hairs specific characteristics. Its hard to find a person who can both cut hair really well, and see all the possibilities that will work with your hair and head/face shape. She was even able to style my hair such that itll work with or without product!Shes professional and, if you like to talk, she always has something interesting or funny to talk about. I cant recommend her enough.

Best salon in orange county. Ive been going here for a year and Sarah Rose is my stylist. Im very picky with my hairstyle and my hair color is high maintenance, Sarah has ALWAYS gone above and beyond to make sure my color and cut is perfect. Since coming here my hair has been the healthiest its ever been. The receptionists working the front are wonderful as well. Always professional and make sure you are comfortable with coffee or tea. This place is amazing. Love the service here. I was a walk in and was attended with in minutes upon my arrival. Coco the hair artist worked on my very damaged hair. I was so scared to try to new salon. But Coco made me feel at good about getting my haircut. She gave me tips on products that would help my hair. So far all the product she recommended have worked for my hair. I need to schedule my hair dye appointment next. Will update this review when that happens.

WOW. YES. SARAH ROSE IS MY GIRL! I have been visiting Sarah at Gods & Heros for a few years now and every time I walk out of my appointment, I look like a million bucks! I recently moved back home to San Diego and I still make the trip up to have her do my hair every few months! In fact, I swear by her work so much that I hired her to do my hair for my wedding day! Sarah is CRAZY talented and so knowledgeable about all things related to hair and her line of work. She is current and well educated, but she still listens to her customers and works to give her clients exactly what they want! I cannot say enough good things about Sarah and her work—I would HIGHLY recommend!!!

The decor is very hip and energetic with a youthful atmosphere. The staff is friendly and young, for the most part, and they know all the new styles and color combinations. When I see people leaving, they look happy and the styling is always so cool. Ive been going there for about five years. I use Lauren. Every time I go, I want something different and fun. I might see a picture of something I want and Lauren always tells me if she thinks it would look right on me. But, she loves trying new things. She is really good at trying to fit me in when I want to see her and will text me when she can double-up on people.

I have gotten some of my favorite haircuts in my life ,at times this place is really touch and go. I love the décor and I love this salon but sometimes you need to go through a couple different hairdressers to find the one thats right for you here. So go in and give it a try and for some reason you dont like your hairdresser try a different one. The establishment is pretty cool. They have a wine /champagne bar. The owner is super cool. The people that work here are very quick and knowledgeable and know how to get the haircut that you want executed.

Amazing Salon !! Had a haircut by D Desdrith she was so good! She was so patient and so sweet talked the whole time and never let u feel that a lot of time has passed. One point only is that I wish if their private room had a door as it would have been more convenient and would allow me to come back as I wear Hijab and its a mixed salon. Also if their private rooms would have a washing sink too then I would have given it a 5 star!Atmosphere is so unique and cool. If u have no issues with mix salons give it a try.

Ive been coming here for years, its a great place to go if you need your hair done. Note: It is on the pricey side, but its definitely worth it. The hair stylists are all really friendly and will work with you on what style you want. Its rock themed so if you dont like skulls, rock music from the 80s, and art you can buy, probably look elsewhere.

I get my color and cut at this salon with Selina! Shes fantastic with color and always is in the know with whats in and whats not. Salon is very decorated and has a full staff. You know its a good place because all the stations are always busy.

It has taken me forever to find a salon to call home and Ive found it! Ive been to G&H to see Kaylee (sorry if I butchered the spelling) 3 times and I walk away smiling each time. Ive always had to get used to a new haircut for days before I dont hate it (just the way Ive always been...no fault of the stylist) but here I love it each time. I dont even have to say much I trust her intuition and what works for my hair and she does a great job every time. Shes also great to chat with and super sweet! Everyone there is friendly and attentive. Love the decor and music. Love it all. I carry cards and hand them to everyone looking to get a new do!

Been getting my hair cut with Krystina and have loved each appointment with her. I was looking for someone who was familiar with working with short womens hair since I had just shaved my head and was working on growing it out. If youre looking for literal rock star hair-- like if youre part of a rock band on going on tour and need a rockin hair cut with just enough body, volume and messiness, shes the person to go to.Bonus points for her awesome assistant Dee whos always on point and gives a good head massage while washing your hair too.

Im only giving one star to post my experience. Other wise I would give it a big 0! I went to this establishment to get a cut and color. I went to, two different stylists. One for cut one for color. Both did a terrible job. Selina who colored my hair ruined it! and made a solid color completely uneven! Do your research throughly before you commit. Just cause these people have a license it doesnt mean they are going to do a good job or even be respectful!

The first two times I went to get my hair doneit was great but these last time 2 times I am very specific about how I wanted to stay away from Orange and even showed many pictures of examples of how I wanted my hair last two times Ive goone to color recolor my rooots it ended up being a horrible Orange mixed with three different type of colors I waited q week to get it fixed since I did pay $130 for this Im walking around painfully with this hair color hair dye I was supposed to get a call back to 3 days ago this would be the third fix Im walking around painfullly and shamefullly

Love this place, not only the people but also the decor. Krista Kress is is a wizard with her scissors. Sometimes salons have trouble with mens cuts but not Krista. Also I have multiple girl friends that go to her as well (thats why i started going to her) and she does nothing less than a stellar job.Just all around a great environment and wonder atmosphere.
