I called at 9am, letting them know that, after surgery, I had used every ostomy bag I had; all I needed was to purchase a single box. I called 4 more times, explaining I was out of supplies each time, the last time stridently expressing the urgency. The receptionist interrupted and RUDELY lectured me about how busy their Mondays are, then hung up. Ultimately, I found a place and ordered online, paying an extra $45 for overnight. I finally received a call at 4:15p, responding to my last message. As I had been sitting in my bathtub with no bag for 4 hours by then - and live 30+ minutes away - it seemed unlikely Id make it before closing...so I told him what I thought of their service.From other reviews Ive seen, its their standard of care for EVERYONE.Good luck.

If you need a CPAP machine, ask for Corey Helling. He is a very sharp respiratory therapist who can bring CPAP novices like me up to speed very quickly.

A technician (Alex) from Samaritan delivered a nebulizer to me late Friday afternoon. He took the time to set it up, and show me how it works. I was very impressed at Alexs patience and extra efforts. Kudos to Samaritan for their excellent choice in employees.

The absolute WORST experience I have ever had with durable medical equipment. They use a incompetent 3rd party service to deal with insurance. This person gave me incorrect information about my coverage, TWICE. They also do not sell some equipment, rather they rent it for a high price. Example is a knee scooter I was prescribed, because I cannot walk and have a torn shoulder as well. They will rent it to me for 75.00 a month- the worker in the office said it may be better to purchase one online- they are 125.00 online. I cannot say how much I hate this business.

I had never filled anything here prior to having my doctor send in a prescription. I was planning to wait a few days and then call Samaritan Medical Supply but within a few hours they called and left me a message that my item was ready to pick up. They had even looked up my insurance and already had it bill. I was very impressed. The staff was very nice over the phone and in person.

This place is great! I worked with a young gentleman by the name of Chad, Brace Specialist, while at the Samaritan Medical Supply Office on 39th Street in Corvallis. This Specialist worked very hard amongst many billing challenges/barriers faced while obtaining my ACL brace. He was kind, patient, professional and resourceful and got the job done with a smile. This was the best customer service I have had in a very long time. Thank you Samaritan for hiring an outstanding gentleman such as Chad to go that extra minke when needed. Thank you Chad

Their billing is very confusing and I never really knew what I owed them. When I called about this, the response I got was they now have a new system that will be better. After several years of crazy billing, I just dont trust any of their systems. Their supplies are very expensive compared to Amazon (which is where I will get mine from now on). John, however, was very helpful, professional, and kind.

I had to get a walker with wheels to use till I have surgery to have a tumor on my hip removed and for awhile after surgery too. Dawn was so awesome and kind!! They had to order the correct one and it was gonna take 4 weeks. Not sure what she did but it came in 2 weeks. She called me as soon as it was in and said they would get it put together asap! And they did! She made sure it fit me correctly and that it was the right one. I would highly recommend them! And I will say that I read the reviews on here and was a bit nervous but went in thinking ok gonna give them a clean slate and expect great service. They were wonderful!

The gentleman there are wonderful. They are knowledgeable, helpful and go out of their way to provide good service. One fellow replaced the worn and disintegrated pads on my older ACL brace for no charge! The other fellow suggested an orthotic that was spot on. Fabulous customer service and I highly recommend them.

Avoid at all cost!!!!! They cant tell you what you owe for equipment because they dont know what insurance covers. Oh but they take a week to run insurance and someone from a call center in another state calls with misinformation. So they want you to call insurance on your time, and you can pick up the equipment without knowing the highly inflated cost that hits you a week or more later. Save yourself the time, money and headache and just order from Amazon. What a joke! Why can a pharmacy run insurance and take payment but a medical supply cant?? Oh also the call center is in a different time zone so good luck dealing with the office then not being able to get ahold of the claims department. Again Amazon has 2 day shipping and beats the 2 weeks or more this is taking.

Continually lowering the bar for CPAP service & supplies. Their 3 different locations in town over the past couple of years and their continuous revolving door of incompetent staff speaks to the kind of customer experience you can expect here. They sent me the wrong supplies for my CPAP then refused to allow me to return them because it had been longer than 14 days since they’d shipped me the incorrect goods. I look forward to purchasing my next round of supplies from a reputable medical supply dealer on the internet such as Amazon...

I believe they all are brain dead in the Corvallis office. Seriously, non responsive and completely over their collective heads in doing the simplest of task. I could go into details but its the same as other have written so just take it for what it is. If you have a choice choose wisely.

Dropped off a prescription for a wheel chair, was told they would process it and give us a call. Called the next day to check on it, (Wife needed a wheel chair for about four weeks to recover) was told it would take about two weeks to get it. Called PNEU-MED in Eugene and was able to get a wheel chair, quicker then it took to get my prescription back from Samaritan Medical Supplies.Save your Time and Money shop anywhere but here!

I could write a whole blog about this, but I wont......Ill keep it short a sour...You need to fire everyone on staff and revamp the whole system..... From billing, which Samaritan has the most stupid billing system ever, from the hospital to medical supplies.......The service is horrible.....No one seems to know how to do deal with patients.......Either they send you your order the next day or in three weeks, theres zero consistency with their business.... And since they hold the monopoly around here they take advantage of it....Getting real sick of having to deal with the business side of Samaritan.........

Been playing phone tag. Finally get a time set up to have my machine picked up. Driver calls me to set up a time. Driver left voicemail and said he would be here between certain times. I made sure to call him back to let him know those times were fine. He NEVER SHOWED UP, OR BOTHERED TO CALL ME AND LET ME KNOW HE WOULDNT BE HERE. I called him back after the set times and let another voicemail with him asking if he was still coming. Nothing. I called the main office TWICE and they said they would get back to me. AGAIN NOTHING!!!

I brought in my prescription in person for a tens unit(for pain). They took all of my information and said they would have it no later than 2 weeks. Finally after 3 weeks I called them to see what was going on. They had nothing in their system about me other than my name and told me to call my doctor and have a new prescription faxed to them. I called my doctor and had them send another prescription. Two weeks later I still had not heard from medical supply so I call them to ask about the status. They lost it AGAIN. The women I spoke to both times had no idea why the information was missing and asked multiple people.TERRIBLE management. Never going there again.

Terrible customer service! I called to find out about my husbands cpap. I am authorized to speak on his behalf. Jean said shed call me back with info; instead called my husband who forgets half of what you tell him. I had to call back and I still dont have the info I needed.If you need a cpap, youd better be sure you ask all sorts of questions upfront or you will end up paying hundreds of dollars more than other supply companies charge!

HI had called them to set up an appt for a mask fitting for my bipap machine and was given a time for today at 1pm. My husband got off work to take me and got there and was told i missed my 1230 appt. I made sure i had written down 1pm cuz the person told me that was the only available time. Now it will be a WEEK.

Ive been trying to order some supplies that Ive been using for 5 years. It has been one whole month since I began calling ... getting the answering service, leaving messages .... they called back once & left a message on my phone. Ive tried 3 times today.... nothing. This company should NOT be allowed exist. Horrific management & patient care.

Our son was supposed to recieve a bilirubin light right after our appointment at the pediatrician. This was a time sensitive therapy and needed to happen right away. They did not deliver and were closed by the time we had been done with the appointment but had told our dr we would receive it that night. I had to take my son into the hospital because they had not delivered the equipment and had no idea of time they would deliver it the next day. Our pediatrician was infuriated ed as were we since this was putting our sons health in danger. Very poor customer service.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Long story short, I needed a wheel chair with a leg extension so i could get around by myself. When i picked it up, not only could they not fugure out how to assemble it, but all the parts were too small for my height and the whole time they were acting like giddy little school girls.

Poor customer service. Revolving people in supplies office. Always getting mixed up or not knowing what to do. Will not get basic RESMED supplies for customers. GS wants you to buy another brand. Do not use Good Samaritan Medical Supplies.

Terrible service and management. Ill spare you my details but they are similar to the other reviews listed here. Basically today, their incompetence and overpriced supplies unnecessarily cost me $839 for items that would have cost only $160 had I ordered them from Amazon dot com. They should only be allowed to sell Q-tips, kleenex and toilet paper. That is all.
