This billing department is an absolute joke. Clearly they can not do math nor read a calendar nor dial a phone. Absolutely would NOT RECOMMEND!

They really know orthodontia here! The doctors here are experienced, knowledgeable and friendly. They offer a finance program and the staff are courteous. If you ir your child need orthodontia I highly recommend this place. Before we came here I looked into the other options in town and this business had the best prices and offered more including after care!

In my opinion, there is no question that the staff is friendly and Dr. Robertson is a very good orthodontist. The lack of communication between staff is questionable, though, and that has led to frustration and distrust regarding what the end game really is. My expectation as a mother is that my children are well cared for. My obligation as a parent is that I am financially responsible. Having met my obligation at the onset, and now being disappointed with the communication between myself, our oral surgeon and Star, has left me in a position that is forcing a choice between the stability of keeping him at Star and taking him to another reputable orthodontist. This is not about money, this is about reputation and relationship.**************It’s 2021 now. Communications between Star Orthodontics and myself improved significantly. So significantly in fact, and so directly, we stayed with them and my son has had wonderful care and treatment. He isn’t done, there is still much to do but, the difficulties we faced in the beginning have by and large resolved themselves and for that I am very glad. Ive changed my initial rating of two stars to 4 stars and will write again when all is complete.

I came in for a retainer and was very pleased with how I was treated as a new client. It didnt take long to get an appt., The facility is very up to date, the staff is very friendly and attentive.My orthodontist was very cheerful and provided me with excellent care. The only bad thing I would say is that the retainer I got was $600. that was a little too pricey for me.After loosing it I ended up at another Orthodontist and got two for that price and the quality was just as good.

I decided to finally get braces at the age of 27. Dr. Robertsons staff has been amazing! They are fun to chat with and always go the extra step to educate me on what is being done. The cost is affordable and there are nice perks that come with being a patient. I highly recommend Star!!

Great staff but they over book. What should be a 30 minute appointment turns in to 3 hours. Happens every time.

My daughter who is the patient and I absolutely loved it on her first visit today. They are very professional and explain every process in detail. My daughter felt comfortable and mentioned she is glad we chose this Orthodontist office for her future braces. Do not go here, my son recently had his braces removed, and his teeth are starting to shift back. I called them to see what my options are and now they want to charge me 160 for appointment just to be seen. They say its a lifetime commitment and patients need to expect that. They were very nice to me during my first consultation, now they are rude and like to talk down to there customers. They want to reflect a good image and trick people to coming to them however dont be fooled. Its all about the money. They really dont care about the patients...They make there employees wear braces so they can have a good image....just dont be fooled go somewhere else...If you do decide to go to star after reading all reviews then dont be upset when you have an issue or problem that they wont be caring about...They dont truly care about there patients trust me....Go somewhere else...

Be careful, everything seemed like it was going fine up until I went into get my braces removed. I noticed two of my upper teeth were not straight and when I asked what could be done their reply was those teeth will never be straight. If you are a parent go in with your child to make sure this doesnt happen to them, like it did me. Some depression and thousands of dollars later I am saving money so I can fix my smile else where.

Brianna helped my daughter enjoy going to her visits. My daughter felt confident and so comfortable with her. Everyone there was truly helpful and caring towards my daughter from the beginning till the end. She just got her braces off and i cant believe the difference in her smile.

My 10 year old had a problem that was making her teeth separate to far from each other. Dr. Robertson and her staff made an appliance for my child that solved her problem, straightened her teeth out, and now we are in a wear the appliance a few more weeks and continue to monitor the success. Thanks to everyone at Star Orthodontics for your care and continued great service that allows my child to go to Star and always have a smile on her face. You all do a fantastic job!!

The staff is awesome... but I always have to ask them questions because Dr. Robertson doesnt tell me what theyll be doing after examining my childs teeth.

Staff is very friendly there. My girls love it! they are fast and gentle, they explain everything to my little girl and make her feel very comfortable.

I had to give this place 5 stars just so my review can be put on top, and i want people to read this.....Do not go here, I thought this was the right decision on getting my braces, however I had to get few teeth extracted, to prevent overcrowding. However when my braces were removed my teeth shifting and they said it is not guaranteed results. Going to charge me more money for any additional work....Just because you see the commercial and it seems like Dr.Robertson knows what she is talking about, she doesnt actually work on your braces she just looks make sure the nurse correctly did what needed to be done. Do not go here....if you do decide then dont complain after about this place because even after reading this and you still go here...then its on you.....Trust me when I say this place just cares about the money, not the patients......Its all corrupted......

I the love staff of Star Orth[dontics. They fixed my oldest sons teeth over 7 years ago and now they are working on my youngest sons teeth. I wouldnt go any where else to get these services performed. They are very polite, friendly and concerned about all their patients and the work they perform.

Paid $800 for a zoom whitening treatment and the results were no better than the $30 treatment you buy at HEB. Keep in mind my teeth were pretty white to begin with, I was just going for the perfect white look they showed on the before and after pictures. Called them back and they said they couldnt do anything about it.

Make sure you make your payments. Yes they are nice right until you miss a payment. They will not work with you, Dentist, cause not actually a docter, just cares about money. She will not even talk about financial situation she has someone else handle that. THIS PLACE just cares about getting paid. I understand they are providing a service and needs to get paid, however where is the sympathy. I paid them recently around 200 however they will not progress with treatment til they receive past due balance. Even though it is scheduled to be debit from my card they will not progress with treatment.If the dentist really cared about the patient she would allow progression in treatment. How did i end up behind in payments, you wonder. Well I didnt expect to get sick, I recently had a biopsy done and waiting the results, however I had to quit my job and pay out of pocket for my treatment and its been rough. Star orthodontics do not care about what situation you are in they just care about getting there money. When we came in for our consultation sure everyone was nice smiling, and understanding.The old ladys they keep behind the desk are rude. They speak for Robertson, in reality she just cares about money and will not allow progression of treatment, showing no sympathy or empathy. Its not like I wanted to get ill not pay on purpose for my childs treatment.I had been paying on time. I just recently made payment but want full past due balance. It all comes down to money....What should i expect from Robertson, not sympathy just cares about money. She can do whatever she wants it is her business, and she chooses not to proceed with treatment til she gets full past due balance. Sad part is she has her rude financial people to speak for her, because she is aware of my situation but could care less. Thats fine i will pay past due soon and hopefully my child can progress with treatment. She does not care, she expects past due plus late fees before any progression of treatment. Comes down to money....Star orthodontics has no empathy.
