Wow. An amazing doctor who gets the job done right. I had an awful tooth that wouldn’t grow trapped underneath another tooth for years and he got it out along with 4 other teeth with no complications. 2 weeks later my gums look healthy as can be with no infections or severe pain the entire healing process (proof that it pays off to listen to post surgery advice)I was able to talk normally and eat post-surgery safe foods with no pain or struggles after just 6 hours, which shows just how great of a job he did. Make sure to stock up on soft foods and ice packs for swelling, and get ready for one of the BEST naps of your life!He treats his staff well and his patients even better. He is so worth every penny, and I will gladly come back to get my wisdom teeth removed later on, along with recommending him to all of my family and friends from now on. Well where do I start?!I was referred to Dr T by Lone Star Dental in April because I was having some pain in my back teeth, turned out I needed to get my wisdom teeth out. I went to see Dr T for the first time for a consultation on May 5th. Dr T and his team were so welcoming and sweet! Dr T explained everything to me & the plan was to remove my 4 wisdom teeth in early June because I was going to get married in two weeks.However two day after I was in extreme pain that I had to call out of work and was crying for an entire day because the pain was so bad. I called the office back because I really could not handle the pain to schedule an earlier appointment than June. I was so desperate in pain that I scheduled the appointment on May 12th. ONLY 4 DAYS BEFORE MY WEDDING. I was SO scared to have surgery 4 days before the biggest day of my life but I was in so much pain that I would do anything to not be in pain.I decided to only get one wisdom tooth out rather than all four at once because only one was currently causing pain.You ask how it went? It was honestly the most smoothest process and recovery ever. I told Dr.T & his team about the entire situation that my wedding would be in four days & they made sure that I was okay.After the surgery Dr T told my mom that I was having so much pain because I had infection in my mandible which made the post op care more important than ever so Dr.T prescribed antibiotic, steriod, mouthrinse and pain medication post op & all those really helped in my smooth recovery. I made sure to ice & not drink out of a straw, etc. I was honestly so scared hearing all these post op stories from my friends and coworkers. But with all the instructions given by Dr.T & his team, I was was able to recover well.I am attaching a picture of me on my wedding day because honestly I look this happy on my wedding day because the amazing work of Dr T & his team. I really owe them!I still have to get my other three wisdom teeth out but I know I will be in good hands!

I was referred to Dr. Teenier a couple of years ago by my local dentist. Because of some insurance confusion, I had to go in another direction with another oral surgeon. Fast forward to a few weeks ago. My wife was also referred to Dr. Teenier, and this time the insurance was not an issue. He explained the procedure to my wife, then set the appointment for the surgery. All went well as planned and she recovered nicely. His staff was also helpful and courteous. I was referred to Dr. Teenier by my local dentist over 5 years ago and at the time i didnt have the money or the want to have my wisdom teeth removed so i put it off. Fast forward to 2019. I had multiple problems with my wisdom teeth. They were constantly getting infected and hurting all the time on top of me being pregnant. Once I had my baby I went to Dr. Teenier to finally get them out. He told me everything i needed to know to be able to have oral surgery and safely breastfeed my baby. I followed his after care instructions and I am feeling so much better following surgery! His staff was so thorough and so sweet. I highly recommend this office!

Sedation in Office for Wisdom Teeth removal. I am a Nurse Anesthetist, and my experience under sedation with Dr Teenier was wonderful. First, his staff is very caring, accommodating and will put you as their center focus during your visit. Dr Teenier does everything possible with his 30 years of experience to make sure there is not an infection! The whole experience was impeccable! I am also over 40, and wisdom teeth extraction becomes difficult, so thank you so much to the staff and the Dr for taking such great care of me!

I recently visited Dr. Teenier and his wonderful staff to have a tooth extracted. He did a phenomenal job and I had no issues with recovery. This was my second time visiting him (he previously removed my wisdom teeth many many years ago...also did not have any issues with recovery). Dental assistants were amazingly nice and great, the doctor/dentist did surgery on my sister. After the surgery he was very rude and blunt about the medication she needed to take and when it came to answering questions. He was very unprofessional and arrogant about his replies. Do not recommend he’s all about the money in my opinion

My daughter had her wisdom teeth extracted on 9/21/16. This was her first time for this type of procedure and she was naturally a bit nervous. Frankly, so was I. Dr. Teenier and Dr. Teeniers staff put us at ease. They were very attentive and kind. Since then, Ive called a few times to ask questions. They are very prompt at getting back to me, and they answered all my questions with patience. Dr. Teenier did my wisdom teeth removal. I was a nervous wreck knowing I had to have my teeth pulled and it being my first time that it had ever been done. He is an amazing doctor! I went in for pre op and he made sure I understood everything before I left his office. I left feeling assured & confident knowing I had chosen the perfect doctor for my procedure. The day of the procedure went as perfect as it could have gone, though I was a little out of it. That night he called to check on me to see how I was doing. I mean how many doctors call themselves to check on their patients personally?! That made my outlook on him even better! Post op check up I was having some concerns, he made sure he addressed all issues and even made me come in for an additional check up, which made me feel at ease. I went in for a normal wisdom teeth removal, and waited 3 weeks for them to get ahold of my insurance because all they do is fax or mail information. Ended up writing something wrong down on the insurance paperwork and having to wait another 3 weeks, my surgery was supposed to be this Friday, feb28th. The Insurance didn’t get back to them in time for surgery so I’m not paying 1800$ dollars for the full surgery. I would wait another couple weeks but frankly I’m getting fed up and running out of time. Don’t go here

Answered all of my questions when I had concerns and took great care of me.

Got all four of my wisdom teeth out and two were pretty grossly impacted (one partially erupted mesioangular and one hard-tissue horizontal). I was a little nervous beforehand because he warned me about potential nerve damage for days or weeks after since Im a bit older and they were pretty well-rooted in my jaw but within 6 hours of the surgery I had complete feeling in my face again so he must have done a great job while I was out. I am also especially thrilled that only the impacted sockets even hurt after the procedure...the two wisdom teeth that were pulled but had grown in properly didnt hurt at all :)

Just had my wisdom teeth out by Mr Teenier. I was so nervous because it was going to be SUPER expensive and i was in pain and I was ashamed for letting my teeth get in the state they are in. Mr Teenier is stern and to the point but more conversational than you woild think based on his other reviews. He asked me about my job and explained to me what was going on with my wisdom teeth by using terms I am familiar with and honestly he made me feel good about myself. His staff was HIGHLARIOUSLY nice and attentive, at one point one of them was rubbing my head while the other one pulled a blanket over me and told me I am going to be right here for you if you need anything. Long story short, the man is a genius at what he does and aparently he has been doing it for a long time. Just listen to him and be respectful and you will love him. Also. Not NEARLY as expensive as I thought and when I said that outloud the lady at the counter said to me I hear that every day. No worries and good luck.

I went to him about 20 yrs ago for wisdom teeth removal and a frenectomy. Had gone to Dr. Blum but he was extremely rude to me and yelled at me because I didnt take antibiotics but he didnt tell me to either (made me cry). My dad went with me to Dr. Teenier and was very hostile due to how I was treated by Dr. Blum. Dr. Teenier pointed out my dads callus hands and my dad was getting ready to get defensive, but Dr. Teenier said the callus hands reminded him of his own dad and how he respects people who work with their hands. He did everything fine and he was the one that called to check on me. He wanted me to do some additional orthodontic work done but my orthodontic office didnt call me back so ya he did get onto me like a parent would get onto a but child but then he handled setting that up for me. Also, I was going to be paying for everything and since just graduating from college I didnt have a lot of funds. So he was the one that told me about the credit card for medical stuff. So he even helped me find a way to pay for everything. I know that was 20 yrs ago, but my experience with him was good.

I have had 2 surgeries here and everything was great. The doctor was never rude to me. He explained everything and answered all my questions. We even had some laughs. I also had follow up visits, after each surgery.

He does the job but hes about his money. If your nervous about surgery and arent emotionally sound id look for someone else, hell do it his way and protect himself. Wouldnt even give me hydros after the extraction deceide to give me some tylenol with codeine, fyi this stuff sucks.

I had all my wisdom teeth taken out by Teenier in 2012. His staff were nice enough, however, Dr. Teenier couldn’t have been more rude. I’m a petite girl and he made sure to point that out in every way possible. He went so far as to pull out a scale and talk about how small I was and ask why I was so small. It was a belittling experience. He also hit a nerve, numbing my lower right jaw for a few more moths, but that was nothing compared to his manners.

Stay. Away. The actual procedures have been fine, but both my husband and I have had procedures done here and dealing with them and them getting information to the insurance has been an absolute nightmare both times. Months of back and forth and we sent it but the insurance companies didnt receive claims for months after the procedures. Then when the insurance filled the claim Bay Area sent the check back to them because nothing was owed on the account...because we had to pay it up front! In addition were now dealing with a separate charge from an out of network company that we were not told about. Just one big headache that lasts for months.

I was referred here by another dentist since they do not do extractions. I came in for a check up and to see if they can pull off 4 of my wisdom teeth. Everything was okay, did the surgery. When it was done, nobody had told me to come back for check up or even called me if everything went okay. 1 month later, my cheek got very swollen called them and ask if i can go in asap, i had an appointment the next day and got cancelled due to the Dr. has some other place to go. Came back the next day. They did another surgery to me since I got an INFECTION. Which would have never happened if they checked up on me when I first got my surgery. Everybody was freaking out and worried even the Dr. since I couldve end up in the hospital. I have no complaints with the nurses, they are very nice to me all the time and helpful. My main concern is the Dentist guy who is very hard when he is doing surgery, does not care if it hurts me, and every time I have a question he is always in a hurry and always turns his back on me. I read the 1st review they got here and she was right. Nurses are sweet but the Dentist Dr. is rude. I had told him my head is spinning after the 2nd surgery and he told me that its ok I can handle it. While the nurses are freaking out since I had the infection and could be in the hospital. Anyway, I do not recommend going over here. I will definitely not come back either. Save yourself some time and money. Again, nothing bad to say about the nurses mainly just the Dr.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Tennier and his staff. It was great. Literally painless wisdom tooth removal. He even uses a cold spray and you dont even feel the IV. Of course afterwards there is pain but the in office experience could not have been better. Coming from an RN, I was very impressed.

He is the most UNPROFESSIONAL Doctor I have ever met!!! He spent 45 minutes ranting about my other Doctors, eventually call them all idiots!!! He went on to say that my daughter was stupid for following Doctors orders in giving me shots to bridge for Oral Surgery!! His staff is polite and that is the only thing that I can say positively!!!

Took my daughter in law to see him on recommendation. What an very unpleasant experience. My daughter in law is still breastfeeding her baby and so a long wait ( an hour over appt time) was difficult. Baby began fussing and once Dr. Teenier got into the room baby was ready to eat. He requested my son to take baby outside. My son was taking him out but made a comment ( in an apologetic but strong tone) that baby just needed his mom, and then was walking out with the baby. I was told I needed to stay and I again just mentioned the hour long wait was hard. Dr. Teenier became so rude and agitated and demanded we get another Dr. and he refused to see my daughter in law. I tried to talk to him after they left just to understand and he acted like he was above everyone else. I get it, babies cry and in most situations babies can be left in waiting room with someone else. The problem was that it was an hour until Dr. Teenier showed up to the room! I was shocked at his behavior. I was almost embarrassed for his very sweet staff. He seemed like a bully with everyone running around apologizing for him. I tried to be respectful of any miscommunication but in hind sight, how can he handle an emergency situation in a clinical setting if he cant handle a simple human situation like a fussy baby and nervous new dad! Id wonder if hed run away from an emergency instead of pull himself together and handle it. Hes probably a fine surgeon when everything goes well and his way. I can only assume he has good and bad days. Guess today was his bad day. Reading some of these reviews helps me realize he isnt always amazing The most shocking thing was his total lack of concern about my daughter in laws pain that brought her to see him. Dr. Teenier later said hes still see my daughter in law and work it out. This was the oddest experience Ive ever had at a simple consultation.

Dr. Teenier stitched up my lip about five years ago and pulled three of my teeth about a year ago. I was very pleased with the service provided. I felt no pain during the procedures and he even called to check up on me after both procedures.

We had a scheduled appt at 1 pm. We were called after 20 minutes. Nurses were very sweet and patient with my grandma who has Alzheimers. Two and a half hours later the dr shows up in a really bad mood. He begins asking my grandma questions. I told him she had Alzheimers and begin answering his questions. He stopped me and said who his her primary caregiver I responded my mother. He said where is she in a rude manner. I replied on her way. He said how long I said a few minutes. He said then I will be back when she gets here and left the room. My mom got ther a few minutes after. Not sure how the appt went. Worst bed side manner. The one star rating is due to his sweet nurses. Update: My mother asked for a refund and questioned why she had to come. The response was that I didnt know the medicines she was taking. Which was not 100% true. When the nurse asked me I immediately called my mother and she gave me the list of medications. My mother told them she didnt want that dr with poor bed side manner working on her mother.

My husband went to Dr. Teenier because a woman at his work recommended him. He. Had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled. So my husbands been fasting, we get to the office at 8:00am I believe surgery was for 8:30 we sit there well into 9... So I also have not eaten breakfast I go to the desk when they finally take him back and I say I have to run a quick errand to pay our house payment Ill be right back how long will surgery be( 2 more hours). She says OH No, you cant leave. OK, I can understand that but it would have nice to have been informed before the morning of the surgery. So I say ok no problem. Theres a gas station on the corner Im going to grab a coffee and a muffin or something. Ill be back in five minutes. She says No again. The Doctor really prefers you not leave at all but I can give you a cup of water!So after my two hour wait hes finally done everything seemed to have went well. 2 weeks after the surgery my husbands jaw is still hurting. I called many times to see if Dr. Teenier could look at his mouth and they only do checkups after 5 and they would not make an exception and my husband couldnt take anymore time off of work. So we call around to every oral surgeon in Corpus Christi and they responses I got were horrifying. Im sorry we dont see any of Dr. Teeniers patients, Im sorry we dont back any of Dr.Teeniers work, Im sorry yew cant see your husband, we stop referring Dr. Teenier to our patients because of so many problems!!!!I finally found a doctor that would look at his mouth. He had a dry socket which was causing the pain. Dr. Brian Gully D.D.S... . The staff were wonderful and helpful and they didnt even charge us for the appointment!!! What a wonderful supprise. I wish we would have gone there first.

Staff were friendly and procedure went well. Although, I wore an inverted cross (my personal belief) and before going under anesthesia, Dr. Teenier said, Here, let me fix this nonsense, and taped it upright.As the assistants were prepping me for the procedure, he kept saying such non-sense. Non-sense multiple times. I found this to be quite rude and unprofessional. Its still a debate whether I decide to take this to court or not, but I wanted to inform everyone of my personal experience here, and remind Dr. Teenier that his actions were unprofessional, rude, and illegal.I give this review 1 star for getting the procedure done right, but also because of the Doctors foul, disrespectful, and unprofessional remarks.

Although the doctor himself appeared to be very knowledgeable—a 2.5 hour delay, staff bordering on hostile, and a refusal to listen to my requirements made me take my business to Dr. Gulley, whose staff was professional, pleasant and efficient.
