I had been seeing another Chiropractor here in Corpus and they were wanting me to come three times a week for four weeks, then two times a week for four weeks then finally one time a week for four weeks. I would be in and out in two minutes and never really felt any better. When I began seeing Dr. Mauger he X-rayed by spine and went over a treatment plan. I was to come in once a week, do my warm up then get an adjustment. After my first visit I felt so much better, and I actually adjusted my back rather than lightly massaging it. He said that I should be good after the twelve sessions the VA approved me for. I went for about three weeks and I felt amazing. Now I feel as if I just need to come as needed. Maybe once a month. I am very appreciative of Dr. Mauger and his staff. His practice isnt a keep the patients coming, its lets get them fixed so they can live a good life.

I am so glad I came here. My neck had become so stiff that I couldnt check my left side blind spot while driving. Ive had 4 treatment sessions and have so much more flexibility in both my cervical vertebra and entire spine. His staff are exceptionally friendly and appreciative to their patients. I would absolutely recommend him for everyone experiencing pain.

Services rendered were great until owners / providers wife accused me of having two separate services in the same time frame ( acupuncture / therapy). She literally came into the fitness room berating me before asking questions. If she would have taken a second to ask what has been provided to me the situation could have been avoided. Instead she wants to make a scene as I’m walking out that I’m mad about the way she spoke to me.Clear communication breakdown within work center and lack of proper training on professionalism.Anyways if you have a referral from the VA and want to be spoken to like a child this is the place for you.

I can’t say enough awesome things about Dr. Mauger and his staff! After a reckless driver ran a stop sign and plowed into me at a high-rate of speed, my back and neck were severely injured. I was in so much pain and with the help of Dr. Mauger, Dr. Guirdy, and all the friendly staff I was able to rehabilitate in about 4 months. Dr. Mauger is one of the few medical professionals who ACTUALLY CARES about his patients. Dr. Mauger took the time out of his busy day to personally call and set up an ultrasound that I needed to get at another facility. Dr. Mauger is for the people! I highly recommend anyone who is in pain with their back, neck, shoulders, knees, etc. to seek care with Dr. Mauger and his staff. Every single person in this office is so helpful, friendly, and courteous and they provide phenomenal care for all their patients.

The staff here is always excellent! I came in with a debilitating sciatica nerve pain that literally made me cry outloud with pain and could not stand without assistance. Dr. Mauger staff came to aid immediately and helped me out. He gave me 2 shots for pain and personal walked me out to my car a short time later. I cant say enough how grateful 🙏 I am for the staff he has on duty and overall super excellent service!!!

Bring a good attitude and get ready for an environment for healing. An anxiety raising, painful car accident turned into a real blessing by coming to this office. Very friendly staff, which helped significantly lessen the stress I was dealing with from my accident. (God bless for that!!) All explanations of what would happen with my appointments were clear and concise, and the appointments themselves felt like there was improvement each time! What sold me on letting Dr Mauger treat my pain was the time he took to listen, test and diagnose the problem before he made any adjustments, if any could even be made. I have seen Dr Mauger repeatedly for different injuries. I will happily continue to recommend family and friends to him.I always look forward to a visit to Dr Maugers clinic. Maybe its the friendly and personal reception from every member of the staff, who include Dr Mauger, and his wife. Or perhaps its the longing relief from lower back pain that comes with some heat therapy and a few adjustments.Maugers clinic also has an in-house physical therapy studio with certified staff, who gave me a print out and illustration on each stretch and exercise recommended for my specific injury.

Love love this place. The treatments u get are amazing. U feel better when u leave than when u arrived. The staff is very friendly and are very caring. The hotbeds and roller with their high tech Electros they use on ur sore muscles are awesome. They offer so much for ur treatment. The best place and been going to them for years for injuries in car and now due to old age getting treatment for my back. They are still and will be the only place I will go. And oh, he is now a nurse practitioner so he has upped his game now. Still very caring dr.. love him. Thank u dr. Manger and staff!!!

Excellent service! Suffered from back pain for years due to being a hairstylist and standing all day! I get Acupunture and adjustment every week and it has reduced my pain level from a 8 to a 4. I can work all day without excruciating pain. I’m so thankful to have found this clinic!

The staff is great, very professional. The physical therapist there really help you in aiding you with exercises and massage that targets the sore muscles, pinched nerves and aches in bones.. Dr. Mauger is very thorough with your initial examination and your follow up sessions. I highly recommend Dr. Maugers Chiropractic Services, the office personnel is hands down friendly, flexible and accommodating, entire staff is A-1 in my book. I recommend this place highly for those in need of very good and experienced physical therapy services.

The visit is always a pleasant & the wait is not long at all. Dr. Mauger is very professional, knowledgable always very thorough & will be HONEST with you if he cannot address your problem/medical issue. Honesty is the best policy. I am grateful for that & admire him for being honest & up front with me. The staff is friendly & always willing to help out with whatever issue the patient may have going on. Great place for chiropractic Care in my opinion

I just called to make an appointment w/their office. I asked the receptionist if I could make an appointment for today and she asked me if I had insurance. I do have insurance; I have BlueCross BlueShield, but she still at this point did not tell me If I could go in for an appointment. I’m requesting an appointment because I have excruciating pain in my lower back. Instead, she proceeds to ask me 5+ questions still not telling me if I will be seen. I finally ask her again, “am I going to have an appointment today?” And she said, “well, I have to call and verify your insurance.” What a complete waste of my time! Yes, I have insurance, and if my insurance did not accept, I have cash to pay! My appointment today would have been contingent on if I had insurance or not! Wow, good riddance. Seriously, I wish Evans Chiropractic did not retire.

At every visit the entire staff was always pleasant. I actually had to reschedule a few times due to the flu, and the office called to check on me and Sent me get well wishes. That was so refreshing. I definitely appreciated all the care I received there.

I can not thank Dr. Mauger and his wonderful staff enough for acting so swiftly when I hurt my back. I injured myself on a Sunday went to see my PCP on Monday and got a little bit of relief but come Wednesday my pain came back so violently I knew something was seriously wrong. I called his office an they got me in immediately. He x-rayed my back and quickly saw the problem. He knew it was vital that I get an MRI and upon multiple attempts to get it approved by the insurance I finally got the MRI a month later. As he suspected, there was a serious problem. Thank you Dr. Mauger for all you do and thank you to your wonderful staff for having had the utmost compassion for me and my medical needs. I highly recommend Dr Mauger and his wonderful staff, they are experienced and very knowledgeable and take their job serious.

I suffered from shoulder pain and was about to schedule surgery when my sister recommended visiting Dr Mauger’s office for treatment. I’m so glad I went! He is very thorough and listens to what you are going through. With acupuncture(which is not at all painful, like I had imagined) and massage I was finally able to get my range of motion back and get rid of the extreme pain. I highly recommend Dr Mauger and his great staff!!

I was sent to Dr. Mauger due to an accident in November and I have to say him and his team are very respectful and courteous. Not only do they greet u as u walk in the door but they made sure I was ok and comfortable with everything they did. David who is the physical therapist is also very respectful and courteous and made sure that the excersizes and stretches were ok for me and not too much or too little. Also I would never let anyone put needles in my back but Dr Mauger talked me into doing acupuncture and I must add it has been the best thing yet. Dr. Mauger and his associates are amazing. I was sent to him after being t-boned by a car that ran a red light and was in a literal world of pain. But thanks to Dr. Mauger and his staff i feel almost brand new again. 90% of my pain has been relieved. His staff is very kind and personal and do their absolute best to make you feel comfortable. I fell asleep once or twice while receiving therapy, the people i could hear snoring in the station next to me can agree that its a quiet, comfortable place to recieve treatment. While i hope to never endure another terrible car accident, Dr. Mauger would be the first one i go to for recovery.

Amazing visit. Dr. Mauger and his staff are detailed, professional, and caring. He treats the whole person, not just the neck and back. He helped my husband in one visit. When other chiropractors couldnt pop his back, he managed it in the first visit.

This is not a good place to go if you have PTSD. The environment is not relaxing at all and the rapidfire questions along with a tension amongst the staff makes it difficult to get passed. Being shuffled from room to room was extremely difficult while in pain. I thought if I heard one more door slam I was going to lose my mind. I tried my best to just go with it but it was 2 hours of pure hell for me.

This man has been a Godsend! I came to his office for Bells Palsy and neck pain. Id never been to a chiropractor before OR had acupuncture done and I wasnt sure what to expect but Im SO grateful that I was referred to him by my doctor! My pain levels went from constant & unbearable to easily manageable in just a few days and I know it was due to the treatments/therapy Dr. Mauger and his techs did on my affected side. Ive been going to Dr. Mauger for 10 years for back injuries caused from military service. Dr. Mauger and his staff is very professional and understanding to all patients especially their Veterans. He currently handles VA chiropratic care for Veterans. He appreciates everything we have done from our service. Recently I filed an increase for VA benefits related to my back, ruptured disc, and sciatic nerve problems. I had an exam from VES (Veterans Evaluation Services ) the exam was a nightmare took only 10 minutes. Later the VA proposed to reduce my benefits, after Dr Mauger sent me to get an MRI and revealed I was a candidate for Disc decompression surgery. He took the time to fill out a DBQ (disability questionnaire) and personal exam with his own paperwork as well. This entire exam took an hour and a half. He was so willing to ensure the proper hearing and rating i deserved. He even called the place where my VES exam took place and filed a complaint. I just wanted to take the time to publicly thank him and his staff for all the extra care they give Veterans.
