I’ve been to plenty of walk in urgent cares, dealing with people in a complete rush and lack of communication. This location I have to say takes their time and patience! I had to make an appointment to receive a covid exam, I was feeling under the weather, super scared of what the results were going to be! Ashley made this experience so easy, quick and heart warming! As well her co worker Amirah, not only did she help me mentally but after I was told it was negative she got me right in to see DR Khan which he was amazing and sweet! He prescribed me meds for a common cold and felt better in no time!Thank you Ashley, Amirah and DR.Khan for making this experience easy and for caring for your patients !

I can’t stress it enough when I say I adore the staff at the Coram location, the girls at the front have always treated me with respect and take their with me, the doctors are always so thorough especially Dr.Khan! I came as a walk-in because my primary is closed on Sundays. I was greeted with kindness. Then when I was brought into the back the medical assistant Meghan was extremely kind, warm and humble. She set the tone of my experience. Then the Dr came in and was extremely nice. You couldnt have asked for a better staff. Thank you for taking good care of me.

Pleasant initial office visit but no one in the building has the physical or mental capacity to send your prescription to a different pharmacy. For 4 weeks, I would call every few days to check the status of my prescription and I even hand delivered printed instructions to them. Nothing was done. Went to a different office and my Rx was sent within a day. This office is an embarrassment.

I have been coming to this office for a long time and the office staff are always so caring and attentive to my needs. Dr. Ali and Dr. Guy are wonderful caring medical professionals. If your looking for great caring medical office, this is the one for you.

I have been a patient here for several years, the service and hospitality of the doctors, nurse, and front desk staff has always been beyond my expectation of any urgent care I have ever visited. Theyre always accommodating to the best of their ability and go out of their way to make sure youre taking care of whether its your health or just med forms to be filled out.KellyAnn is phenomenal. Shes always on point with running the front desk and interaction between patient and doctors.When she says shes going to take care of it, especially with a follow up phone call, you can rely on KellyAnn because she will get it done whatever she can get done for you.

I’ve been going to this office for years now. Dr. Ali and Dr. Guy are doctors who truly care about their patients and always attend to my needs. Every time I walk in and see Meghan at the front desk she always has a smile on her face and makes sure to help me. She is truly the best. Kelly is also another gem at the location who is always so helpful and kind to me and my family who also goes to this location. I highly recommend going to the Coram CaredMed location. You won’t regret it!

They seem to not know what they’re doing. Called for two weeks and phone just kept ringing. Left messsge about my medication and it wasn’t answered. Had to come in physically only to wait for two hours. Front desk is a joke

I absolutely love coming to this office. The front desk staff are always helpful and the medical assistants try their best to go above and beyond to accommodate all patients. I commend the girls in this office for having to go through everything I have seen them go through and still approach patients with a smile on their faces.I have sat in the lobby and have been so appalled after personally watched patients berate the front desk girls. I have seen reviews below stating they have no compassion and I have to disagree. I have came to this office with my elderly mother and every single person in this office has made her feel like this is her second home.COVID has definitely brought out the worst in a lot of people but you dont see that with these girls. Yes the wait time can be a little long but Rome wasnt built in a day and not every patient case is the same.

I’ve had a pretty good experience with majority of the doctors in this facility excluding one. This doctor goes by the name Dr. Liz and has said several offensive statements during my doctor appointments.One offensive statement she has said to me was, “Does your insurance cover that,” when asking for a referral for a chiropractor. I was highly offended and only felt like she was saying that because I am a young African-American woman. This was not the first time she has said something offensive to me and prior to this incident that occurred about two weeks ago she has said other offensive statements.Dealing with my anxiety I went to the doctor to ask for a referral for a therapist and was seen by Dr.Liz. She asked me a series of questions trying to get to the root of my anxiety. For a while I’ve dealt with anxiety but recently working in urban schools have been experiencing high levels of anxiety. Dr. Liz is no therapist so I cannot say what her purpose for asking those questions were but she did allude to the fact that I may be having trouble in urban schools because of the way I dress. I was highly offended by these statements and actually stuck in the moment trying to comprehend if this was really happening. I felt like this statement was also made because I am a young African-American woman.I am writing this review for people to be aware. It is unacceptable for doctors to make people feel uncomfortable especially when they’re seeking a healthy life. Dr. Liz is highly offensive and for African-Americans that go to the facility I advise you to not go to her she will offend you.

I would love to thank Shannon for her professionalism and compassion. She helped calm my friends nerves and truly does her job very well. I will personally ask for her if I ever need your services!

Absolutely disgusted with how I was treated by nurse practitioner Lynn Segerivas. I have been coming here for over a year and never have a problem getting a medication refill until I was seen by this nurse. Even when walking to the exam room I heard her verbally abusing her staff!! She should definitely not be in Healthcare because in her own words I dont care if you run out of medication even though this is my primary health care office and I have been coming here for over a year. Shame on caremed for allowing her to even practice here! I had to see her once before a little over a year ago because I wasnt feeling well, she told me it was allergies and to get allegraD, and I ended up in stony brook 6 hours later with a 104 fever. She is under qualified to be working in any health care facility and rude to both patients and staff!

Oh no!! I just came from there, got home took a nap woke up thinking my pharmacy filled my antibiotics. No call so I decided to call Walgreens & the doctor never called it in. It was to later, doctors office was already closed so I decided to look up reviews on this place since it was my first time visit there. Its making me worried to read all these negative reviews. How could someone forget about your patient. Im so worried, I just gave them blood work, EKG. I do have amazing insurance and can go anywhere but I just did all that blood work and stuff. Should I go to another medical doctor? Im very worried!! Please help

Under these trying times this office has been nothing short of amazing. Yes wait times may be longer than anticipated. Circumstancesare what they are and its completely out of their control however they have always been there open and smiling ready . Thank you for your amazing service and kindness. Im 8 weeks pregnant and missed an appt due to sickness. I came in the next day and Megan at the front desk was so accommodating and even asked how I was feeling. She took me immediately for a rapid covid test. Currently waiting in my car for the results because I get sick easily but she went above and beyond and I am extremely grateful. Thank you Megan!

I had Brought my Toddler ,Mother and myself to caremed this past week. We were walk-ins had no appointment willing to to wait since appointments are priority anywhere you go especially in the health field. Nevertheless the MA Arielle tock our vitals and reassurance us of any concerns that we may have had . She was extremely caring and professional .My daughter had never been there before .The office manger Kellianne brought the new patient paperwork to my car. She went out of her way to give my daughter stickers and a lollipop, which helped her feel at ease. She is absolutely phenomenal!! They treated us like family. Best urgent care on Long Island . Caremed cares!!

I would rate guy and Doctor Heckler as a five, the customer service inside is a joke....no return phone calls, just to get what you need for other services it takes FOREVER.....The office definitely needs to hire competent staff that are willing to ACTUALLY work and not surf the web, be on a cell phone, or ordering lunch and dinner on their office computers.

This is hands down the worst walk in clinic I’v ever had the unfortunate experience with. The establishment is run down and the office is not run in an efficient manner by any means. I’v unfortunately had to come here a couple of times and every time the waiting room is chaotic, unorganized, and all the patrons are upset. I will not be back to say the least . Do yourself a favor and find an alternative to this location .

If I could give this place negative stars today I could, guy is a great doctor but he is surrounded by absolutely terrible staff. Short story made 3:45 appointment, was not seen until 5:15, then my prescription was never called in. When contacting the front staff, was rudely told it was called in, I asked if they couldn’t double check, she nastily put me on hold, then hung up on me, then turned the phone systems off early so I couldn’t contact them again. Absolutely horrible staff, horrible attitudes. If you want any sort of care about your time or feeling RUN, go somewhere anywhere else but this place. I don’t have a primary doctor so I unfortunately have to use this location, but I’m likely to never return after this. Just unbelievable. So to everyone on the fence about this place go ANYWHERE else.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had at a doctors office or urgent care. I’ve been to the Miller place location several times and needed a COVID test so decided to try this location. I understand things are hectic right now but they are beyond unorganized. I was told the wait time was an hour and 45 minutes. After waiting in my car for 3 hours without a call, I decided it was time to call. I was told that I was the next patient to be seen on the list. At this point I was now seeing cars that were not there before me going in. 40 minutes went by and still nothing, I called again to receive a voice message saying the office was now closed. I went in and told the girl that I was called to be next and almost an hour has gone by since then. She proceeded to tell me that I was not next and there was a family in front of me. I asked her why I would be told I was next if that was not the case, she then waved a list in my face of people’s names instead of acknowledging the misinformation. I was there at 10:30am and was not seen until 4:30pm, the best part being the nurse who was very nice and efficient. To find out my results, was also an experience. I have called 5 times in the past two days, no answer, then an answer just to be transferred to a line with a voicemail after I explained to them that no one is answering on the correct line. I found out my results by a live chat on their website... Moral of the story, do not waste your time going here.

Kelliane the office manager was very professional,Accommodating and kind. A letter was needed for our insurance company. The letter was submitted within 30 minutes after we left.All of Kellianes willingness to help us as well as being so prompt, is greatly appreciated.Thank you so much again.

TIME to fine another doctor, i can never get in to see my dr, although the drs are absolutely amazing, i dont know whats going on with appointments, why have them when your sittin in your car for over 2 hours to be seen. My family have been apart of this office for over 20 years. Never have we ever had an issue , even when you call to make an appointment you cant get through, i had to walk in, when i did that i was taken with in a few mins, but i had a fallow up and waited two hours to fine when i went in to fine how much longer cause i had kids in day care they said another 45 to an hour. Of course i couldnt stay, now my parents are having the same issues even getting an appointment for medication inwhich they arent responding to, neither less to say ever since the practice switched to Medicare and excepted walk ins, its seems like they are way over loaded now and accept way to manu walkins over their patients, waited 15 mins to make an appointment today, with no answer, so I drove there, to fine 6 people waiting and one person behind the desk, I showed her my phone and stated Im still on hold but need to be seen, she was very nice but I voice my opinion how its said that I need to ask for medical release form cause I need a reliable drs office, I shouldnt have to drive here every time to make an appointment, she told me I wasnt the only one today that asked for this form, I apologize to her and said its really sad, but I have to do for my self and my health. I know Im not alone, I wish the drs best of luck and they will be missed by family and I.

It’s one of the worst doctor offices in Coram. The staff all needs to be replaced. Especially everyone in the front. Dr Guy needs to stay at Miller place location. He is a great doctor and is unfortunately surrounded by people who has no compassion, sympathy or empathy. Everyone that I know who goes there because of the convenience complains about the staff in the front. Explain how you call for a rapid covid test and they tell you that they can’t test you today you will have to comeback in 5 days. Unbelievable and they’re are a walk in place as well. So basically if you do think you have it they are not the office to help you. The physicians there really need to communicate with their staff because they can’t possibly know that their staff are treating the patients like this. So now I have to go find another testing place that’s not close to home. Smh

I had an appt and had to wait close to 2 hours just to be seen just to get a refill on medications. I wonder if their other offices are the same.

Worse place ever Ive been trying to get ahold of them over a week now for refills on my medication its high blood pressure pills with no return calls so my blood pressure is 189 over 170 because Im out of pills they do not even care anymore its a horrible office avoid if you can

This place is a negative 0. Waited almost 2hrs to get in for a freaking refill . I was taken someone else on This appointment once we got in we were there 5 mins. I had other obligations to attend to This place is a joke. Poorly run this is why I no longer go there for 3 years. Wont go there if I was you..

I have gone to this office for 3 years now and to say I am pleased would be an under statement. The staff have always gone above and beyond whenever I have been seen there. Some visits I have came in for a walk-in visit without an appointment and have understood I have to wait my turn which is never really that long. Whenever I have a concern or question I feel it is answered within a reasonable time frame especially considering the patient volume. The front desk staff is always pleasant and the medical assistants are always way more than helpful. I love making the choice to come to this office and have referred all my friends and family to go as well.

Dr. Faiza Ali is great doctor, takes time to explain everything.

Honestly the best but primary care providers that truly are passionate about their patients. Through the assistance of Guy PA, Dr. Ali MD, and Lauren NP I have been able to have my physical health needs addressed despite not being able with other previous providers unable to be address concerns I’ve had. Great coordination of care and true bedside manner. Front desk is very accommodating as well and very patient with requests. If I could I’d give them 10 stars but unfortunately 5 is the limit.

The staff at Caremed are amazing! They are very compassionate and caring all around. Id recommend them as a primary or walk in to anyone.

Doctor prescribed me eye drops that apparently no pharmacy has.. went to multiple pharmacies, no one had it. In fact one pharmacy even tried calling (and faxing) the office to try and have them switch the script to a generic brand that they did have, but had no luck as the doctors office was not answering their phone. I even tried calling the office for a solid hour and no answers.. so I had to take matters into my own hand, drive to the pharmacy and get the pharmacist to write me a list of exactly what they did have, then I had to drive back to the doctors office and give it to them personally.. honestly its my own fault for thinking the doctors office would actually answer their phone. This is not the first time Ive had prescription problems (sending my scripts out to completely wrong pharmacies), all due to the office people. The doctors are decent but the office is run horrendously. Switching doctors and I cannot wait.b

What a great Doctors Office! The Office Manager Sandy is by far, the most helpful person Ive ever encountered at a Doctors Office. She was very thorough & clear on what my insurance company pays for & what I am responsible for. She explained everything in a way that was very understandable. CareMed Primary & Urgent Care puts the patient first, and that is what matters. They also have great hours, 8am-7pm. I wont go anywhere else.

I gave it three stars only because the wait time in the latter part of the day can be quite long. My last visit, which was on 7/19/19 took the better part of an hour to be seen. All in all I love my doctor, so Ill just deal with it, I guess.

Even though Dr. Heckler is my primary, I need to be a walkin this week due to feeling sick. I thought Id be waiting at least an hour or two to be seen. It took maybe 15-20 min and I was seen and taken care of. Would recommend to all.

Care med in Coram on middle country road, I would recommend highly to anyone. Delilah and Lynn are very knowledgeable, compassionate, personable and friendly. Looking forward to my follow up visit next week. David S. Karen

Dr Heckler has been my primary care physician since he opened the practice in the 90s. Both he and his complete staff have been compassionate and professional each and every visit. I cant say enough about how I have been cared for each and every visit. I will recommend making an appointment to be seen as they are an urgent care facility and can be busy at times.

They never call scripts in. Also have to go there in person. No one answers phones 😡

I was bitten by a dog. Dr. Ali told me that, I probably didnt need a rabies shot. Probably? I feel great.I was called in for an appointment with Dr. Ali to review routine bloodwork. My WBC was through the roof, and even when I specifically asked for antibiotics, she denied the request and instructed me to see a dentist.A few days later, Dr. Heckler reviewed my bloodwork, the same blood work I had reviewed by Dr. Ali, and had me called in for another appointment. Thank you Dr. Heckler for following up, noticing that I was severely anemic, and bringing me in to address this newly discovered health issue.Appointment or not, plan to spend an hour in their cramped waiting room, and hope you get a different provider in that office than I did

Absolutely the worst doctors office around. They told me multiple times they would call in my life dependent insulin and after three weeks of them playing games with me I ended up in the er with dka. Thanks Dr Heckler thanks alot. Maybe he can help me out with my hospital Bills now.

I absolutely love coming to CareMed. Its such a shame to see negative comments or anything less than 5 stars here. Every time I come in the entire staff is so positive and welcoming. I will always give 5 stars (more if I could). The courtesy and helpfulness of everyone from the office is better than any office I have gone to. Dr. Ali, Dr. Heckler and Guy, office manager Kellianne, the front desk girls and the medical assistants are all amazing. My entire family, extended as well, has changed their PCPs to the doctors at this office. I understand they are a walk-in clinic as well but appointments have always been taken care of before walk-ins, and the few times I walked in without an appointment my wait time was not too long and I understood I did not have an appointment. I love you guys; keep up the good work!!!

INEPT/ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK.Doctor told me she was calling in prescription, which she NEVER DID. I went to pharmacy TWICE IN ONE DAY TO PICK UP. Had to call doctors office again to ask where my rx. was!!! Staff said doctor went HOME and I would have to wait for another doctor to call my rx. between patients. INEPTNESS PERSONIFIED.

I went in as a walk in on Thursday, I sat in the waiting room for over an hour which I expected because I was a walk in... I sat in the back room for about an hour and was coming in to get my refill on my medications. I said my dosage many times and the doctor prescribed the wrong dosage. On Friday, I called and left a message on the refill hotline and nobody ever called me back. On Saturday, I called and spoke to a receptionist who told me she’ll send the note though. Now it’s monday and I never herd from anybody and I never got my right prescription sent to the pharmacy. Unfortunately I needed my meds, so I had to pay money for the wrong dosage which is 2 pills a day so I had to spend 2x the amount id usually pay for my meds. Then eventually when I get my right dosage (If these people ever call me back) I’ll have to pay even more money because of this offices mistakes. I understand that everyone makes a mistake, we are all human. But I’m very disappointed with how the office staff treated my situation. They didn’t treat it or help me at all.

This place is an absolute joke. I went in 3 weeks ago when I wasnt feeling well. I was instructed to get some tests done. I went to the hospital right away and got all the tests done. Days went by and I got no call, i called numerous times only to be told the doctor will call you A few more days went by and still no call. After a few more calls the lady who answered gave me half my results. I stressed I still wasnt feeling well and I needed my blood results. Again she said the doctor will call. And again the doctor didnt call. It has been 3 weeks and 1 day and I still have not got 1 call back about my results even though I have called several time. I suggest never going here! EVER! I gave one star only because they will not let me give 0

I have been a patient at this practice since it was only Dr David Heckler 1997It’s always been great being a patient of his and now with the new ownership at CareMed and getting to see Dr Faiza Ali - it’s a great mix of 2 great Doctors plus Guy their PA - who is just as wonderful.The office is run by office mgr KellyAnn and she runs a great office that is pleasant and always seems to run on time . 🙏🏼Thank you CareMed for all you do !!!

I knew I had strep throat, I went in and waited maybe 10 mins and I was called in and the nurse who did my vitals was so nice and shortly after I was greeted by the physicians assistant who was extremely nice! I have been going to this office for a few years now and almost ALL the Drs, PA and Staff are PHENOMENAL!!!! All but one, the new PA has NO bedside manner AT ALL!! WHATEVER is going on in your personal life you should leave outside of the office. Otherwise, the care and advice this office provides, Ive seen in no other office EVER!! Yes, there is a wait time, just like any Drs office. In this case it shows they take their time with their patients and make sure theyre efficient!! They treat you like FAMILY and provide the UTMOST medical care!!! If anyones had a bad visit, try again, Im sure either you or someone was having an off day. I repeat, Drs Ali and Heckler and PA Guy Beauzile and the ENTIRE staff are phenomenal and my entire family along with me will continue to recommend Care Med for family medical, walk ins and Urgent Care. Their PRIORITIES are their PATIENTS!!!!!!!!I just read al the reviews and I cant believe I saw more than 1 bad review. Those people have personal issues they need to deal with!!! I have several illnesses and Im in pain 24/7 and its because of Care Med that I can smile!!!Thank you to All but 1 who have helped me, especially during the time of my sons passing. I went to CareMed Urgent care on the Fourth of July as I had hurt my hand.. The front desk had 2 young ladies that were very pleasant and helpful.The office manager Sandy was there as well and was also very kind and knowledgeable.The PA named Guy saw me right away and was thorough, explaining what he thought was wrong with my hand.As it turned out luckily it was not broken and as soon as the office had my xray results they called with that information.Thank you for being there on a Holiday and for the kind care and support!Erica Evers

No new patients after 6 p.m. (I arrived at 6:02 by the way, but I since it wasnt an emergency they didnt care.) The cut off was not posted on the website or told to me when I called. It would have been nice to know that before I drove all the way there.

They suck. Sat there for a hour and a half in pain and almost passing out. Made a appointment. Everyone went ahead of me. And they crossedy name off the list. Just what I needed the fist day I could walk in four day. Thanks for making me feel better NOT

I got an appointment for my husband last last week. I made sure that they accepted the health insurance that we have. Today my husband took a day off from his very busy schedule to see the doctor and they refused to see him saying that they would not accept the insurance. My husband called the insurance company in front of them and asked them to talk to the representative and they just refused saying that they will not talk to the service provider either. Very very Weird. I will NOT recommend this practice to ANYONE. What a waste of a day. Why could they have not told me earlier that they did not accept the insurance? (We have a Very good PPO insurance and the service rep kept saying that they will take up the claim by the doctors office ). Then what was their problem? I have NEVER known doctors to refuse seeing a patient. What kind of doctor does that?

There is nothing great about Dr. Heckler. Probably one of the worst doctors in Long island. First off Im going to start off with the waiting room. The waiting room is awful! The plant (Which is next to the entrance/exit) looks like it dying and hasnt been watered for years. The TV hanging on the ceiling looks old. Not only that the TV also keeps on freezing. The chairs are disgusting it looks like someone peed on them. Not only that I had to wait for like hours for the nurse! When the nurse came she was rude! When she told me to wait for Dr. Heckler she said Wait here and dont move or else. Or else what? I felt like I was in Dr. Hecklers office all day when he came in his rude as well. He also made lies about my body and told me that I am smoking. I DONT EVEN SMOKE! Well needless to say I will never go back to Dr. Hecklers office again, its stuck in the early 70s. Oh and not only that his office is also the size of a shed. Everyone who lives in Middle Country listen to this review and dont go there!

Yesterday, my mother was seen by the male PA in the office. She went there will pain and swelling in her knee. She was a walk in, so I can understand why she had to wait 2 hrs to be seen. The PA gave her a script for an x-ray and ultrasound and she went right over to Zwanger to have this done Asap. She was in a lot of pain and could hardly walk. Well, she called for her results a few hours after the test and was told the PA would give her a call back. Well, to make a long story short, she still has not received a call back. Unbelievable!!!

This review is for Dr. Sadaf Jamil.Unprofessional, quick, not knowledgeable, and careless are what describe my 2 visits to her in the last 5 years. I’m a young heathy man and when I was in need for a doctor she was the one I received.She walks in not saying her name, says ‘what’s the problem’ and stares at me awkwardly while I’m confused because I just told a nurse what the problem was. (I’m used to having a doctor repeat what’s on the paper that I told the nurse.) Dr. Sadaf Jamil did not know had to handle my simple standardize treatment.5 years ago, being an athlete, I had a severe problem with my arms and I knew something was up when she didn’t even touch them and said ‘you need muscle relaxers.’ she saw me for 3 min tops. Went for a second opinion and found out the problem very easily figured out by another doctor because he LISTINING to my story and LISTENING to the pain I was feeling. I followed his directions and I was fine weeks later. No medicine needed.Meeting careless and possibly ‘in it for the money’ doctors like Dr. Sadaf Jamil make it difficult to trust others in the medical field.

Not only do they take FORVER to attend to you we went 40 minutes before they closed and I understand we went late but I went with sore throat swollen tonsils body aches fatigue and a high fever and she didn’t even check if I had strep or if I had a bactiral infection!!! First she says I have sinus infection she says that’s why I have pressure on my head I said I don’t have persure on my head I’m not congested and I don’t have a cough wich is what she told me is why I have “sinus infection” caused by allergies I know for an absolute fact I have something else and she would’ve caught it if she had actually checked me out instead of rushing me out of the door with false symptoms unfortunalty I have to go to another office tomorrow and pay again co pay to get properly diagnosed

Been coming here for literally 10 years and today will be my last visit, progressively gone down hill. Waited a full hour my last 4 visits, today I cannot wait that long and asked for an ESTIMATE; I know they cannot give exact wait times... the front desk was useless and gave me zero information. Will ask for my records today so I never have to return.

The physician assistants are horrible. Do not even dare to go to care med except for if you are going to see a REAL DOCTOR!!! If not, you will regret. DO NOT BE IGNORANT AND LISTEN!!!!!

Whats the point of making an appointment if they take walk ins before people who took the time to make an appointment. There was a full waiting room. On the sign in sheet there was only one other person with an appointment. We should have been taken first. Ive been waiting over an hour already...

Receptionist left me standing waiting for almost half hour after I came in and talked to her about paperwork I needed. She told me to wait and then proceeded to start making phones calls.

After ASKING what kind of insurance I had (a blue cross company) on the phone when making my appointment, they kept me waiting for over an hour, then told me they didnt take my insurance. I have shingles and was in pain, which was getting worse. but fortunately found another doctor who prescribed me an antiviral. What kind of staff doesnt know what insurance they take?
