I have lived here for over 4 years. Overall this is an affordable (for LI), mostly quiet, well maintained community. Some of the units are owner occupied, some are tenant occupied. Pet friendly. Diverse. Everyone seems to mind their own business. Good location with access to Port Jeff village or middle country road (Selden). Recent renovations include modern Pool facility, new curbs and parking lots.

Both myself and others have been trying to schedule appts for months for viewings (myself for studio/1br - friends for 2br) and have yet to receive a phone call/email back from anyone. I heard bad things but i guess this is the sign to run before i get locked in.

I have lived here for 2 years. I’m seeing so many reviews of people saying the area has improved. If you ask me, in the last year it’s went downhill. That’s saying a lot since 3 years ago someone got shot. I have seen physical fights, been woken up to people outside my window and been harassed on walks. Security and the maintenance are useless. I just want at least a week of not waking up to a barking dog or people screaming.

Office is great, property is nice and still updating. Only issue i have is one creepy board member who lives near me loves to peak into windows and get into everyones business. He just sits in the middle of the common area and pretends to be on his phone when in reality he is watching and listening to everyone.

I have been an owner here for over 5 years and I must say that the community has improved drastically over the last few years, thanks to anew board and new management company. There are new pools, new gyms, new tennis courts, new basketball courts, new signs, new website, new and improved communication methods, community events, a monthly newsletter, new brighter LED lighting, new water mains, new laundry rooms, the indoor pool is being re-done, the parking lots are going to be re-done, the pointe Circle siding is going to be re-painted, they are cracking down on illegal sublets, they have more meetings with shareholder residents per year instead of just one, and much more. We have a great new property manager and some new office staff who are phenomenal. Maintenance is great and handles concerns timely. This place had been neglected for many years until recently. All places have their issues, but the important question to ask is: Is the community improving and moving forward? In this case the answer is yes. You get the most bang for your buck here and as a 20-something first time home buyer, I can tell you that there are no other places on LI that you can own that are as affordable as here.

I believe there are something like 400 units here. I lived here for 13 years before buying a house. With 400 apartments, there is every likelihood that somewhere, sometime, there are going to be lousy neighbors. I can say that the people I met and associated with, were regular everyday people just trying to make a living, just like me.The parking is very adequate, the maintenance staff does its job, and the grounds are kept clean. Again with so many units, I am sure if you leave your GPS turned on, in the car, while parked it is going to disappear. However, if you have a dead battery, you will also find someone willing to help you out, no question about it.If you would rather live in someones basement, safe from the whole world, by all means go knock yourself out. Personally, I wish there were more places like North Isle available to people.

They shouldnt even get 1 star. This place is a crack head landfills paradise. From finding crack pipes and needles to garbage all over this place continues to rent to the lowest forms of life. The office and maintenance does absolutely ZERO for renters. From having a broken AC unit during the hot summer months with a newborn, Single occupant renters with 2/3 vehicles that like to hog parking spots, Packages being stolen from the doorstep to RATS in the courtyard to a BAT IN THE APARTMENT TODAY(a hole in the closet apparently the attics in denver buildings are infested) i am constantly being told they dont handle anything. This place is a rip off and a joke!!!! Few months till we are out of here and are free of this horrible place to live. How about you take a power washer to the building and clean them up. TRASH-ISLE.Nicole is never in the office and never returns. Phone call. We recieved letters sating we were behind in rent and would be thrown out. WHEN WE NEVER WERE!!

Their maintainance company for the renters don’t do a damn thing and take several months to get back to you no matter how many times you call. You’re better off fixing everything yourselves, better yet save your money and don’t waste your time renting here

I did not enjoy my experience living in this place, and have nothing good to say about it. Besides being run down, staffed with the most apathetic human beings on the planet, and controlled by swindling landlords, I feel its my duty to state how unsafe this place is, and to issue a warning to anyone whos considering taking up residence in one of these apartments, so here I go:My first day there I saw a man dumpster diving. When he noticed me watching him, he took off. I saw him doing this multiple times after, and believe its important to remind everyone to never leave any compromising personal information in the trash. One night I heard my doorbell ring, so naturally I opened the door to answer it. There were three strange adults standing there who knew my name and tried to walk into my apartment. When I told them to stop and called for my husband to help, they quickly apologized and left. To this day I have no idea who those people were, why they knew me, and why they turned away so suddenly. One of my neighbors was a hardcore party animal and threw weekly parties that would spill out onto the lawn. There would be a dozen people drinking, smoking pot, and having fist fights directly under our window at 3 am. The cherry on top of that sundae was when I saw the complexs security car do a u-turn to avoid confronting them one night. It was then that I realized that the security guard was only for show and would never be there in a time of need.My neighbor directly below me was unemployed with way too much time on his hands, and was also a giant creep. He learned my schedule and would be outside watching for me every single night when I arrived home. He made me very uncomfortable, and was so obvious that friends and family who came to visit would constantly remark on his creepiness. There was a time in my life when I was very fond of taking solitary walks, but after my experience living here I will never walk anywhere alone again. One sunny Sunday morning I was taking a stroll around the apartment buildings. Luckily for me I just happened to have my brothers huge, viciously protective German shepherd dog over for a visit, because I believe I wouldnt be here to write this review if Id been alone. I walked close to a seedy old van with a naked man hanging out of the sliding door. This man was aggressively staring at me, and I didnt notice until I was right next to the van. The dog, bless his heart, spotted him and went into his predatory attack stance. I whipped out my phone and dialed 911, and we turned and ran. Unfortunately the van sped away too quickly for me to get the license plate, but Im still here to tell the tale. While I hate to leave such a negative review, I feel like my safety was constantly at stake living here, and I do not recommend anyone live here alone, or at all really. Theres a reason why the rent is dirt cheap for these apartments; its worth it to pay a few hundred more a month and live in a safe community.
