Dr Cardoso is an excellent doctor. Went to him with a broken wrist, it did not need surgery but had to put it in a cast. He is a very patient and caring doctor explaining in detail the procedures and progress. The staff is very efficient and customer service oriented. The Xray techs are awesome. I was very pleased with the experience.

Although not a complicated hand surgery, it was still surgery on my hand.Its only 3+ weeks in, and I must say, that one can barely see the incision. Dr. Cardoso was attentive, caring and responsive whenever I asked questions before and after my surgery. So happy he was the hand surgeon I selected.

Dr Cardoso was a life saver. He saw me on one day notice when my current surgeon bailed on my surgery without notice. I was in tears having a broken arm and nerve damage for 5 weeks. Not only did he do an amazing job repairing my breaks surgically with plates, he decompressed the nerve. We really had zero hope my hand would function again and I have very functional use after one year. It was truly miraculous. On another note, if you have had experiences with surgeons they are usually not the most empathetic or warm people. Total opposite with this man. Warm, caring and he listens to you. I am so lucky to have found him in my hour of need and you would be choosing a great doctor if you put your needs in his more than capable hands.

Dr. Cardoso not only repaired my elbow he showed great empathy and kindness when I was in pain and very scared. He is an excellent surgeon and I am very happy with my surgery results.

Dr Roy himself is excellent. Careful. Accurate. Focused.Every appt I have have to wait honestly at least 1.5 hours to 2 hours just to see him from time of appt. Defies the point of even scheduling an appt. Thats terrible. Other than that hes terrific. Just clear your schedule.

Terrible experience to get an appointment, called the Miami Lakes office and after 20 minutes waiting to get a person on the line finally get the appointment, but without me knowing the appointment was booked for Plantation office. I showed up for my appointment 20 minutes before and was told that was in the wrong office to try to get to the other office before 5 pm. While driving there someone called me to inform me the Dr was not going to wait for me and had to reschedule. Funny that you have to wait 30 minutes in the waiting area even when you get on time to your appointments, but the Dr cant wait 20 minutes for you to get there and all because his personnel screwed up with mis information.

Dr. Cardoso did a fantastic job on a very complex hand surgery for me. Very happy to have him and his expertise available .
