I did prenatal yoga through out my pregnancy and it was the best way to prepare my body and mind for birth. Not only did I feel great physically but mentally it helped me connect with my baby and my soul, calming down all those crazy hormones in me.I also took hypnobirthing class(which in my opinion is a must and it helped me have a great birth experience). I am thankful for Debra that helped me had an awesome pregnancy and birth experience. And now I’m going with my six month old to postnatal yoga. Recommend this place 100%.

I couldnt be any more blessed to have come across this prenatal yoga class. This is my first time being pregnant and its amazing to go to these weekly classes with other women going through all of my same emotions. I initially decided to join because my back pain is intolerable. However, not only does it help me with my back pain A LOT, it has helped me emotionally as well. Debra is amazing. She really does help you disconnect and I love going to every single class. Totally recommend !!!

Ive been coming to the prenatal yoga class for the past 15 weeks, every Tuesday and Saturday and I absolutely love it. Its a class for pregnant women only and its size varies between 4-15 women, depending on the day and time. Its a very intimate and welcoming atmosphere and a fun way to make new mommy-to-be friends to share the experience of pregnancy with. Debra, the yoga teacher and doula, is very knowledgeable and shares in each class a lot of great insights about pregnancy and labor. She also gives tips to help with individual body aches. The yoga exercises are adjusted for pregnant bodies and Debra explains each one of them and what they are good for. The building is a bit older, but the yoga room is kept very clean and is decorated in the most loving way. Every time I get out of class I feel very relaxed, physically and mentally and throughout my pregnancy this class has been leading me through each week in the most enjoyable way possible. I can highly recommend this prenatal yoga class.

On January 11, 2020 I paid $220 for 20 classes. I had been looking for yoga classes affordable and close by. I found that place, I was not welcome joyfully as I expected. Maybe the hormones or high expectations because this is more mental than physical movements, I was quite expecting at least a warm and sincere welcome, explanations on classes etc. The first red flag 🚩 I dont know why I got 2o classes upfront. It was pregnancy after all. There may have been some unforeseen medical events that I would not move forward at some point in contrast to my wish. None happened but Covid. That goes without saying that I could not go there due to the virus. I had 12 classes when it first broke out. After a while, I gave birth of my son. It is almost impossible to reach out to Ms. Debra Geymayr, the instructer. I tried, tried and tried to make it up or find a way to get a refund. I asked her of I could participate in her prenatal classes even though I was not pregnant. She ignored my sayings. Instead, she advice me to have her virtual lessons. I told her I have to be at work so such lessons conflicted my work schedule but in case I asked he how to do so. Again, I had no response. She just ignored me and I lost my money. She did not care about it. She did not even try to figure out a way. Literally nothing! Apart from telling me no refund! I was fine by that just wanted to go to prenatal classes without being a pregnant. I ended up with a no each time. Covid put us all in a situation unprecedented. It has been good enough to make exemptions. But no means no with Ms. Debra as if i should have known a virus would break out when I had paid 220.The place is no good. Her instructions are always the same. After 2 classes, youd know what is coming. You could simply watch a YouTube video and not bother going her classes. Being with pregnant ladies, talking to them, listening to their concerns and benefitting from their experiences made me feel relaxed. That was it but with Ms. Debra it did not and would not work that way! Never! After all, its yoga and the way it makes people is simple. Someone should tell her that meaning of it is not just having music surrounded her room, squeezing special odor, giving out candies. It is peace of mind, a getaway, relaxing, feeling comfortable, finding a way out of problems, solutions etc. I have never been disappointed this much and lost money this way!

I have had an amazing experience at Prenatal Plus. I have gone to both prenatal and post natal classes and they have been so beneficial. The environment is welcoming and nourishing for both your body and soul. I also used Debra for doula services and can honestly say it was the best decision we could have made for our birth. We LOVE Debra and her studio!! You owe it to yourself to give this place a try if you are pregnant. Your baby will thank you :) Happy, Healthy, Holy

My wife and I hired Debra as a doula. She never took any initiative to get to know either of us before going into labor. We communicated we went in to the hospital, communicated every doctor visit etc. along the way, we really tried to keep her informed. We gave birth on our due date, went in a day early because water was leaking. I told Debra the day before giving birth we were at the hospital she informed me of her schedule and said she would make it there or send her substitute person (whom we never met). She was very slow to respond to text messages or phone calls while we in the hospital. I informed her we were in active labor with contractions 2 minutes apart, no answer for over an hour during the time she was not teaching a class. Finally when I got a hold of her and asked her to come to the hospital when she got there we were not fully dilated she wanted to leave right away. She spent less than an hour there, she was back-and-forth on her decisions on how to handle certain circumstances. One minute telling me to do something and the other to changed your mind. When she got to the hospital she had a bad attitude and was very upset because we had to get an epidural. Didnt want her to upset my wife so I pulled her out of the room and told her she needed to speak only positively and what had happened has happened and we needed to move forward from this point on. After she left the hospital she never came back and we ended up with a C-section. After spending only one hour in the hospital we were not offered any refund for the 750 we gave her upfront. She went out of town for two weeks after the baby was born. Then she said she got sick so she didnt want to come over. Overall for us she was super unreliable and unprofessional. Some of the nurses at South Miami knew her and did not like her apparently she has a bad reputation there for overstepping boundaries with doctors. My advice to any new parents considering a Doula is to do all the research on your own and dont rely on anybody else because in the end its going to be just you and your partner.

My Name is Lady M Lamas and I feel so lucky to have found Debra and her practice, I attended Pre natal Yoga, and got ready with her guidance for the experience I wanted for birthing. She was my Doula and my experience was sacred and beautiful. I felt empowered and loved. My child was born right on due date, natural birth no drugs. I dont think i could have done it without her. Forever Grateful

Prenatal Plus Yoga is a haven for mothers-to-be. I absolutely love attending my weekly Saturday class. I look forward to it all week long. The instructor, Debra, is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares for all of her students. She is an advocate for natural birthing and all things organic. More importantly, she makes it a point to inform her students regarding patients rights and how to deal with the challenges of birthing in a hospital (i.e., the overuse of medical procedures that are done in the interest of saving time).I highly recommend Prenatal Plus Yoga to all mothers-to-be. Not only does this class prepare you physically, spiritually and emotionally for the birthing process, but it also allows you to build a support system with the other moms-to-be, and form a strong, loving bond with your unborn child!

I had been trying to come here for several weeks. I showed up for a Saturday class on time and no one was there. The place was completely shut down. I figured I just had bad luck. I took the day off from work on a Thursday to be able to go to the morning class because I needed to stretch so badly (now 7 months pregnant). I was greeted by the owner who was busy on the phone ordering something from a catalogue. She barked at me to take off my shoes so I did (first red flag). She didnt say hello or welcome. Class was supposed to start at 10 am so I patiently sat on my mat waiting. One more very pregnant woman showed up to class who also said she had taken the morning off to come to the class. By 1020, class still hadnt started and the owner announced that she was canceling the class because there were not enough people and she couldnt work that way. (She needed at least 4 people). Picture two very very pregnant women sitting on the floor. I asked her I could pay her extra to go ahead with the class since we had both gone through trouble to get there. She looked at me like I was insane and told me to come back another time and she would comp the class. I explained again that we both had taken off work to be there and she said that wasnt her problem. Obviously my horomones didnt help but my eyes watered up because she was just so rude to two pregnant women. Zero compassion and clearly does not know how to run a business. Especially a yoga studio which is supposed to be peaceful and welcoming. Will never go here again. Good luck to her. Maybe the yoga is great but Ill never know!!! I think the mold on the walls is getting to her!!!!!

When I found out I was pregnant it came as a bit of a shock.Thankfully, God put Debbie in my life to help me and my now husband through some difficult times with her love, tenacity, and empathy. I would stay after her class and talk to her and she would always have so much care and patience with me. I truly appreciate her for being there as more than just an instructor, but a fellow mother and friend.Ever since my first prenatal yoga class, I have felt warmth and a welcoming atmosphere in her studio. She is funny and knowledgeable; every part of her class is explained and she gives you little tid bits of information about health, nutrition, and birthing all along the way. She taught me that to be strong and brave you must first be loving and kind... That’s the secret to a natural birth.Debbie has amazing first aid and family classes that you can choose from to help get you ready for baby. I highly recommend her studio to all mommas and her doula services are incomparable!! I cannot stress enough what an unforgettable experience I had giving birth in her center. Even if you don’t go the birthing center way (which I totally recommend you should) have Debbie as your Doula. You will thank me later.Love, love, loveeee Prenatal Plus Yoga. Thank you so much for your services Debbie!!!
