I was given Mrs. Scotts information two years ago and I was so hesitant to go because Ive had bad experiences with my hair. Fast forward two years later and I finally took the leap and let me just say its the best leap Ive taken! Mrs. Scott is very knowledgeable when it comes to all types of hair. I am transitioning from chemically treated to natural hair and Im starting to love the process and journey. I dont know what I wouldve done if I didnt go see Mrs. Scott but Im so glad I did. Now if only she could do my hair everyday I will be set for life!

The owner of the salon attended to me last minute. She kept her salon open for me. My hair cut is so fantastic , I keep getting compliments. I love how it looks and feels. She is the best, kind and professional. Charges just right.Thank you so much. You have my business.

I went into Gifted Hands for Bohemian locs. Ms.Shanda did not disappoint! This was my first visit, but definitely will not be my last.

Highly not recommended. She is a con and charged me $220, for a silk press by calling it something else claiming it last for 2 months knowing I said I didnt want one because they dont last long and since I rearly would get my natural hair done she took advantage the situation. Even though I came in for weast length braids but last minute due to misunderstanding she booked someone for time needed for desired style just to reschedule them halfway though this all natural protein treatment she recommended that was not a silk press it was better. So mad will never return. Please report her to the BBB if she does this to you, I already have.

I was overcharged and my hair was “not done.” I am not happy with the final product. I would have had a better experience if I went to a training facility. I will not return.

Ms.Shanda always hooks me up and I love going to visit her when I can.

I have been going to Ms.Scott I call her Sister Scott since August 2019. I transitioned from natural to relaxed and she keeps my relaxed hair healthy and growing. I recently started going weekly and my hair is loving it. If you want someone who really knows what they are doing and care about healthy hair come to this salon!! (She knows me by Twin)

I was looking for a good stylist to give me a protein treatment. Shanda does have gifted hands. She was very knowledgeable about hair care. She gave me instructions on how to take care of my hair until the next time I see her. I didnt have to wait long to get my hair done and the salon was very clean and smelled nice. I definitely was one happy client and will be returning.

I am mixed and have very coily hair. I decided to the big chop with my natural and went with a very short cut. The salon owner took very good care of me and cut my hair. I did not have to wait in a line and i felt right at home. Been going here now since 2012. Shes done my hair and my daughters hair. My daughter has alopecia and she knew how to care for it without damaging her hair . It grew back in 3 months. Love this beautician.

I came in with a migraine at level 10 with neck pain too. My massage was amazing and brought my pain level down tremendously. Shonda done an amazing job. I know I will return. What a blessing to get some relief. Thank you Shonda.

I loved the owner and it was a very pleasant first experience! She fixed my hair in like 5 minutes and it looks great! Only recommendation I would suggest is for her to be more upfront with pricing because I had no idea how much everything was going to cost. I will be going back though!

The owner cut and braided my hair and I loved the results it came out way better than the original pic I showed her gonna be coming back soon

If I could give zero stars I would. I went there for a dye job. She made a mistake the first time and the color came out too dark. Told me to come back two days later and she dyed it again. When I got home I noticed my hair coming out in the comb. She overproccessed my hair. Bleached it TWICE in two days. It was breaking off so bad I had to get most of it cut off.

I had a great experience, she helped me walk outside without a hat or scarf for the first time in a LONG TIME🤗. Im very happy about my hair. 😊😆 Unfortunately so did my man💇‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️... so I gotta book again. Shes Shona is down to earth and very real. I glad i went to her on a good day😊.

Hair dresser: Shonda. Horrible and unprofessional!!! She made me pay money for something I didnt want!!!!! I hated this lady!! she embarrassed me in front of all of the customers yelling at me and calling me a liar. I have never been treated like this and I was very upset. My friend took a video about it and I am posting it on youtube for all to see!!! I am very upset!!!

Wonderful! She gets the job done, doesnt take all day. My last style was braiding with a star and cross in the back. Again, this didnt take long and compliments rained from Central Texas to the California Bay Area. Thank you Mrs Shonda.

My experience was extremely terrible. I called to get an apt. Shanda Scott stated she would be able to do a sew in for $150. I showed up that day ready to get my hair done. There was a 25 minute delay because she was talking on her cell phone but I let it go. Then once everything was completed, she only let me see the front of my hair, she stated I wouldnt be able to look at the back of my hair. I paid her with a debit card, and went home...2 minute drive. I looked in the mirror at the back of my head and it was terrible. She left a big chunk of a cap showing that she had sewn to my head and I could see all of my tracks showing and also the closure was like a 5 yr olds work. Then to top it all off, she charged my debit card $315 I went back to get a refund with my mom and she screamed and yelled in front of customers and didnt ive me my money. definitely gonna handle this the correct way with the law. Horrible stylist. Thievery
