Here it depends on the stylist doing the job. Reasonable priced. Connie cut my hair and did a great job. Two days later I took my daughter and she cut her hair but I did not I care for how she did it. Luckily my daughter loved it ! There is a high turnover rate there it seems . Cant really get attached to a certain individual. Good place for a quick haircut at a decent price.

I had my hair cut today by Samantha, and she did an amazing job! She was very friendly, professional and helpful. I highly recommend her!

I approached the employee working at the time. I asked if an appointment was needed, she said yes. However there was NO one else in the salon, she was playing on her phone. Why couldnt she have taken me?? Very disappointing. No worries tho, another salon was more than happy to have my business and money.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I made appointment on the app for me and my husband. We went in. The lady ask how can I help you in a rude way. I said we have a appointment that we made on the app. She told me she know nothing of that. She had a really bad Attitude with us. Then told us that she could get us in about 20 minutes since they had someone in both their chairs. We just left. Why would I want to get hair cut from people that are rude. Won’t be back.

Decent haircuts for the price but service can be hit or miss. If you have a child some of the stylist will be patient and help keep them calm while others just rush through cutting and nicking them because they move. I always ask for a certain stylist that never seems to be available or they dont see it in file. Regardless if youre in a pinch its a good option 👌 but you may want to settle down somewhere else.

Hands down the worst haircut I have ever had the misfortune of laying my eyes on. They completely forgot to check and make sure hair wasnt caught under the mask. Hair was thinned unevenly. What layers that were there were cut by a toddler with kitchen scissors. On my way to a new stylists to get this fixed immediately. I am ashamed to be seen with this butcher job of a haircut. Should have known better seeing as how they are located where they are.

Make an appointment. Tabby does an excellent job giving me a perm and a trim.

Tabitha Horton has been my hair stylist for around 10 years or longer. I recommend going to her for absolutely any style... any color...anything! I love her! I have still not allowed another person to touch my hair besides her. She is absolutely wonderful. She is great with eye brows too yall!!

They took me right in did an amazing job with my hair. I was out in no time. I love this place!

Took my daughter here. Shes 4 so doesnt really need a quality salon priced haircut just yet. Unfortunately I got what I deserved. Told the stylist she needed a trim with bangs. Easy enough right. No. She now looks like lord Farquad from shrek. Or friar john. Luckily she doesnt know any better and the hair will grow back. But I definitely wouldnt have cut her bangs to the middle of her forehead. Im untrained and know to take a little at a time and curly hair will fall different after its dry. Quality is not their strong suit here.

I Get my hair done by Tabitha and have never been disappointed- she always makes me look fabulous!! She is a very caring and compassionate person - she has emotionally helped me get through a very difficult situation in my life and even bought me a care package when I went out of state for a lumpectomy!!SHE IS THE BEST!!!!!!!

Eh, I won’t be back. She was very reluctant to wash my hair to start with, then used cold (COLDDDDD) water, then couldn’t understand what it meant to trim dead ends. Then after barely blow drying my hair she said it’s dry enough, you can let it air dry. This was NOT a haircut, it was a trim. It was definitely NOT worth $17. I won’t ever be back. I can go about anywhere to pay this price for a trim, and get much better hair care.If you are in a bind and have nowhere else to go, you still might want to skip this stop.

Uneven in the back doesnt look right I even had a picture. Whole experience was rushed hair wasnt even straighted at the top and i came out looking like a mop I will never go back this haircut has completely shattered my self esteem. I look like im in a 90s boyband. Will never go back again

Tabitha Horton is amazing! I’ve never been one to just go into a salon and let anyone do my hair but she was GREAT!! She does mine, my husbands and 8 yr old sons and we wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

Took my mom to get a perm she uses a walker to get around the girl who gave mom her perm was very patient and did an excellent job

Tabby was AMAZING!!!! One of the other stylist totally messed up my hair and I was about in tears. Tabby took the time to fix it and even helped me pick the right shampoo and conditioner!!P.S don’t go to the older lady with the blonde hair, go to tabby

I’ve been an extremely happy customer at the Algood TN Walmart SmartStyle Salon for several years. Tabitha Horton is awesome. She’s been doing my hair ever since she’s been there. My hair always looks amazing. She’s a great Manager. Very professional and wonderful with the customers in the salon, walk-ins and on the phone. Nice and friendly to everyone. Salon has a good atmosphere. Tabitha is an asset to the salon. The other gals are good too but Tabby is the best. It’s just missing coffee and a bathroom 😊

Great hair cuts. Terribly understaffed. Wait times are ridiculous. Once I scheduled an appointment, and after waiting 20 minutes, was told Id be waiting an additional time period for a walk-in who had been waiting for a while, to get their haircut first. Walked in today, right when they opened, was told I probably should come back around 1. One person working. They give my boys great cuts, but they need to staff this place, and get a little organization.Left and called the one on Jefferson, they said come on in, got us started right away and did just as good of a job.

Worst Place! I walked in with my little boy b/c everyone was telling me how great this place is... Tabitha was giving him a trim and then one of the stylist dropped her HairBlower and scared Tabitha making her jump leaving a bald spot on my son! So she tried to fix it but STILL CHARGED ME!!
