My wife and I have since moved to Texas but we still talk about how wonderful this vet is! We brought our Black Mouth Cur in because he was vomiting and lethargic with a suspected GI blockage. After X-rays (which were incredibly reasonable!) they confirmed it and were able to fix it without surgery! With their amazing care, my boy didnt need a single incision and was himself again in no time!Aside from that, this is where we brought our animals for their immunizations and microchipping. The prices are unbeatable and the level of care your pets receive is unmatched. Not only am I eternally grateful to the staff for saving my dogs life without costing us thousands, but I highly recommend them over anyone else in the area.We still miss our friends at Spring Lake all the way from Houston!

This animal hospital has the best doctor and staff working there. They do everything they can to help all animals with caring and passion. We highly recommend them to anyone.

This is only my 2nd visit am I am pleased with my service the prices are reasonable the staff is friendly and only after 2 visits they know my dogs names I will continue to use this veterinarian service

The receptionist and the staff here are hands down awesome! I have read the reviews and must say that our experience here was great. We received a minimum of 2 phone calls updating us on the status of our cat who was in their care to be neutered, booster shots and nail trimmings. Received excellent tips on caring for our beloved kitty and would recommend them to anyone in the area.

Took my 6 year old Bengal Cat in for excessive eating and drinking. He was acting normal otherwise. Climbing his cat tree, meowing, going up and down the stairs fine. They took him to the back and drew blood. Said he was very sick probably thyroid and diabetes probably kidney or pancreas too. Said he was bad dehydrated & couldn’t get a reading on some of the blood work. Wanted to do a saline injection under the skin and come back in a week for more blood work. He did not want to keep him over night or give him an IV. I told him no to the injection & went home. His eyes were severely dilated from the time we got home till he died 5 days later. The picture just before the vet visit they were normal. After going to this vet he became lifeless, stopped eating and could barely stand up. Day 4 he wobbled and fell then day 5 he just couldn’t get up at all. By his last day he couldn’t drink or hold his head up. We took him to another vet but his organs were shutting down. He gave something to my cat without my knowledge or permission. I know in my heart he KILLED my cat! His pupils were huge and would not constrict with light after this vet visit. He is an animal murder! Don’t go here!

Ive been going there for almost 8 years. The place is convenient and my dog loves going there. She gets boarded there and gets here shots also. The Veterinarian is extremely great at handling my pet and giving recommendations.

We’ve been using this vet for years. He’s a no-nonsense vet who won’t slap a bunch of charges on there you don’t need. This is a SMALL business but they do a fine job. I’m always surprised at how reasonable the bill is.

The staff is amazing and friendly! They treated my baby with kindness and respect and treated her abscess for a very affordable price. 💓 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be going back for any future issues

My kids accidentally stepped on our fur baby, causing fluid to fill her lungs ( blood was coming out her little nose ) so immediately I started calling around and they were the only ones who could take me in asap.Not long of a wait plus fees were crazy low ; they even offered a free 48 hour follow up but lets just say she was running around so well the next morning and eating (by the time the 48 hours came she was back to her normal self)I didnt need the follow up. Thank you so much Dr. Wilson for caring for our sweet angel!!!

I have been going to Spring Lake Animal Hospital for several years. Dr. Wilson and his staff have always been very courteous and knowledgeable. I have lived all over the country and have had several vets. Dr Wilson is on the top of the list of the vets I have had. Recently he did a c section on my Frenchie and was very caring of my concerns for the mother. I was very nervous and he called me at 9 pm personally the evening before her surgery the next day to see how she was doing which helped me feel more relaxed. Needless to say Chloe had her c section and had 4 beautiful healthy puppies.I would recommend Spring Lake Animal Hospital if you are looking for a caring knowledgeable vet.

I have had the best experience from this vet... Our fur baby was on the verge of passing on us within a few days! 2 weeks later she is happy and healthy running playing and eating again. I love this vet so much. Thank you all so much for saving our 1 year old so she could live her life. And thank you for actually trying. Even if it wasnt successful I respect the fact that they tried their hardest

I was referred to this place from a current client. I had a baby puppy Bichon. I definitely will not be back. I called to arrange some vacs for my puppy and the lady answering was very impatient and rude over the phone. I have worked with the doctor before and he was nice however you really have to watch who is the face and mouth of your business because they definitely set the tone . And because of this person on the phone I will not be returning back.

Dr. Wilson is such a wonderful veterinarian. Brining all my four dogs to see him. His prices are affordable!

I work here. Most of this info is incorrect but we cant seem to get it changed. PLEASE CALL FIRST so you can get correct info before showing up. We are not an emergency clinic. These hours arent correct. We dont have a groomer. Walk-ins are not guaranteed to be seen.

Melvin is a worker here, he is LAZY, RUDE and a huge LIAR!!! I don’t even see how he has a job here!!!! He doesn’t take care of the dogs and He is so UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Did I mention, LAZY!!! I would give this place 5 stars if it wasn’t for him!! On the bright side, The ladies who work up here are AMAZING!! Very sweet and caring!

Arrived for my 1pm appointment 20 min early. after waiting until our 1 oclock apportionment we waited an additional 50 minutes without being acknowledged. we drove 45 min to get there.we were there to get a consultation on our pups hurt paw. long story short we walked out without being seen. avoid this place. very unprofessional.

This is the absolute best vets office Ive been to in Conyers! I was taking my 6 cats to Conyers Animal Hospital but found out that the staff talk badly about all the patients behind their backs so I started going to Spring Lake Vet and it was the best decision I could make for my babies!! Dr. Wilson is an absolute dream and the staff is phenomenal! I have absolutely nothing negative to say it all and quite frankly, there are not enough positive words in the dictionary to convey my absolute satisfaction!!!

We are new to the area. My cat started frothing at the mouth after a flea treatment and I panicked. I called and the lady on the phone was so patient and comforting. I will definitely choose them as my vet.

HORRIBLE!! DONT TAKE YOUR BABIES TO THIS AWFUL PLACE!!This place is the worst Ive ever seen..I am a vet tech and worked at countryside animal hospital for 5 years and Ive assisted in so many routine spay and neuters and emergency surgeries its unreal..but I took my sons( cat and puppy) to him for neutering..Ive NEVER seen a neuter on on puppy done so sloppily.. He butchered my baby boy.. I KNOW how and where the incisions are supposed to be and my puppy is so messed up..I feel so bad for him..His wound is bludging like one of his testicals are still in tact..And they kept my children overnight after they told my i could get them yesterday evening and wouldnt let me have any updates on them so I spent all night worried something had happened to one of them..The receptionists are all rude and unprofessional..I will never take my babies there again..This clinic is a joke!!! Its no wonder they have no clients and there lot is always empty..WORST VET CLINIC EVER!!! DONT GO THERE!!!

I have no personal experience with this facility but people I know do. They have said that the people are rude and care only about money. The animals do not appear to be a priority. I would give them zero stars if I could.

Great results from the surgery but HORRIBLE follow-up and HORRIBLE Customer Service---went for our follow-up visit and the vet was not even there to tape my dogs ears. Appt. was at 10am and after waiting 45 minutes was told the Vet would arrive around 12:30. I drove an hour to the appointment!!!There was no office manager to discuss the matter with-----so since I had to return to work an hour away Im forced to pay a local vet to complete the follow-up that I had already paid for with Spring Lake. Am awaiting a call from the vet as I feel I have not received the services that I paid for.WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND!!!

Despite the other reviews, this is an awesome place. I took my dog on Thursday when he was attacked by another dog. The office staff was very warm and friendly. The doctor came to see me immediately... I went the next day to have my dogs meds adminsteted and the office staff didnt hesitate to help me. Ebony was the best. She even checked on my dog the following business day.

Reading these reviews has me TERRIFIED. I sent my schnauzer here with my mom. They were supposed to be checking for an ear infection. My dog left the vet with a prescription for an ear infection and arthritis. I noticed that my dog was having a tough time walking. His back legs seem paralyzed. He is dragging them around and falling and tumbling over. We assumed the medication was too strong and gave him the night to sleep it off. The next morning it was worse. I had my mom take the dog back to this vet. The vet now wants another $150 to do xrays, and says that maybe the dog has a herniated disc. My dog was running, lively, and in good shape when he went to the vet. He came out without the use of his back legs! I have no idea what to do, who I can call, or how to investigate but I have had a terrible feeling about this and need help! I am not making accusations but I definitely owe it to my dog to find out what happened after reading these reviews!

Worst care facility I have ever been to. I recently made the mistake of bringing my furbaby Jada in for stitches. She had to go under anesthesia so I had to leave her there a few hours. They called at 7 saying she was ready. Their website and phone operater states they close at 10pm however when i got there at 830 they were closed and kept my baby overnight WITHOUT notice OR my permission!!!! The following morning I went to pick up my baby and the staff members Jennifer and Melvin were two of the rudest, nastiest, people I have ever encountered. I explained to them what happened and that I simply felt this situation unacceptable and they began to yell at me and cuss me out! They literally ganged up on me and started shouting, I have the video on my phone if anyone would like to email me for the evidence. They were so volatile I did not even receive proper care instructions upon leaving with Jada. When I called Dr. Wilson for the instructions and to inform him of the matter he dismissed me entirely, taking the side of his employees in the matter. Only after I told him I had video did he begin to even remotely apologize, if thats what you can even call his failed flacid attempt. I will NEVER bring my dog back here and I strongly stronly advise anyone who loves their animal to follow suit.

In a frantic panic this is the 1st office I found open on a Sat at 8pm. My American Bulldog attacked my 10wk XSm Designer breed puppy. His eye was literally hanging out amf blood everywhere. I called to office to confirm Google was correct of hours. A gentleman answered and confirmed. We got there Im still frantic and crying being pregnant made it no simpler for me. The gentleman behind the counter was calm and cool. Instantly got us in a room (everything was in slow motion however realistically timing was great). The doc came in told me my baby needed surgery his eye was completely hanging and needed to be removed. He went and made a treatment plan with price.Now I know from experience... When anything is done youre to pay in full before anything is done. However... This office worked with us to fix my baby. I was able to make a down payment and have the rest drafted. Im thinking the price was reasonable however at that point I didnt really care just fix my baby. We were told to return in a 1.5 hour and when we did our baby was ready to go. Was given post op directions and antibiotics. Was told he would be sedated until the next day due to being a small puppy and breed. He wasnt given a head lamp protecting thing was told to monitor and if needed to come back. Which I dont have a problem with being their open also on Sundays and told me to call for any concerns. So far the sutures and wound area look ok.Im still hurt every time I look at him tho.This will now be the vet for all my babies.Follow up visit in 2wks. Will do additional review at that time.

Took my cat there for a seizure type event. Did bloodwork and sent her home saying UTI. However, she was severely deathly anemic with severely low blood sugar. Ended up taking her to an ER 2 days later, she died within the week. I called here to get bloodwork, turns out it was abnormal and they never said anything, nor did they notice her gum pallor. I took my pet here because mine was closed, had this vet noticed obvious signs my cat would be here.They also missed a very obvious case of ear mites when I took pet for ear gunk.If you value your pets life dont come here.

Horrible place went in to get my dog’s nails clipped and hair trimmed cause she won’t let other ppl do it and the blonde short old wrinkled white lady with crow’s feet on her eyes had and attitude and came of a little racist also kept pushing for me too put unnecessary Vaccinations that my pup didn’t need also insisting to leave my dog there I told her I wanted to stay like I usually do n she said no so we left n the chubby black dude in reception was no help either he literally has no idea about anything smh.

Please all of you with bad experiences, report this vet! You also could contact a lawyer. What you describe is malpractice and fraud.

***IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET, DO NOT BRING YOUR FUR BABY TO THIS AWWWFUL PLACE***....THEY EMPLOYED SOMEONE WHO CLAIMED TO BE A DOGTRAINER. YET, HIS IDEA OF TRAINING DOGS WAS TO STARVE & BEAT THEM! MY FRIEND BROUGHT HER DOG THERE FOR A FEW DAYS OF BORDING. WHEN THEY PICKED THE DOG UP, SHE WAS SHAKEN, SKIDDISH, DEPRESSED AND WOULD NOT EAT. IF YOU CAME NEAR HER SHE WOULD COWAR DOWN TO THE FLOOR WITH HER TAIL BETWEEN HER LEGS. SHE ALSO HAD AN UNEXPALINED GASH ON HER NOSE. I TOOK MY SENIOR JACK RUSSELL DOG THERE WHO WAS NOT ABLE TO PASS URINE ON HIS OWN, CLEARLY HIS KIDNEYS WERE IN TROUBLE. INSTEAD OF DRAINING HIS URINE, DR WILSON PUT HIM ON A DIURETIC WHICH CAUSES FLUID TO RAPIDLY BUILD UP FOR THE PURPOSE OF NOT RETAINING WATER. PROBLEM WAS MY DOG WAS UNABLE TO PASS HIS URINE!!! HE SENT US HOME WITH THE DIURETIC FULLY AWARE THAT MY DOG COULDNT PASS URINE, AND NEEDLESS TO SAY, MY DOG DIED IN MY ARMS 2 HRS LATER A VERY PAINFUL DEATH....NEED I SAY MORE!???

I took my 2 year old pitbull to be neutered here. When I dropped him off, there were three employees at the desk and none of them greeted or said anything to me until I said something to them. They were very unprofessional and slightly rude. I called to ask if some one else could pick up my dog because I wouldnt make it before they closed, and they simply said ok without asking who would be coming. They could have given my dog to any Joe Schmo who came in asking for him. When I dropped him off, I gave them the coupon I had from SpayGeorgia, and when it came time to pay, they had already lost it and tried to make me pay full price. They tried to not give my leash back, saying I didnt drop him off with one, which was a lie. My dog also smelled disgusting like he had laid in his own pee for two days, and I couldnt even give him a bath because he had just had surgery. I will never take my dog back here again.

Our dog is furry and keeps the nasty smell and itching 2 days after getting meds from Dr Wilson he was so lively before he just scratched chewed all his fur off thank you Dr Wilson he even played with his toy and was jumping around the dog is a old dude but love him to death

I took my dog in because he was having trouble breathing. The vet gave him a shot and meds, charged me over $200.00 and told me to call him in the morning. I arrived home about ten minutes later and fifteen minutes after that my dog died in my arms. Enough said.

I toke my dog here after a severe injury from another animal in the neighborhood. I have been to the office several times before but not for anything major...typically just grooming and immunizations or shots. I called ahead because he was injured very badly and losing a lot of blood. When I arrived, I was immediately taken in the back office to wait for the Dr. I waited about 30 minutes- even though I could hear him right behind the door and there was no one else there waiting but me. I felt awful for my dog- just like a family member to me. I felt like they showed no compassion at all. My dog didnt like any of them including the Doctor. I left him overnight for stitches. I picked him up , he had the stitches but was very upset. I asked when he was given pain medicine, the front desk receptionist advised he wasnt! It was an additional cost of $6. I paid it but I thought that was an awful experience to have surgery on a dog and not medicate him after he awakes. I asked for the doctor to come out and advise on how treatment should be handled at home. He would not come out- he advised me to read the instructions first. Bottom line---- I would never use them for an emergency again!!!
