I was appointed here by the courts due to getting arrested from my addiction. Did I think they wanted me to fail? Absolutely yes! But they actually wanted me to win, rehabilitate my life, and overcome the charges that could have potentially ruined my future. I would give them 10 stars if l could. I needed the accountability in my life but also I have extreme gratitude towards the staff for not only holding me accountable but being so kind through the process. If you follow the rules and do everything asked of you, then you have every chance of successfully completing and moving forward with your life. Shout out to Ms.Todd for helping me not only stay clean but for helping me get through PTI through one of the hardest times in my life.

Well I am here to post a rant just like every other normal person but in this case I suppose only criminals would post a review about this business so who cares what those people have to say anyway right? I am a filthy criminal after all, at least thats how I was made to feel.My issue is with their driver education course. They set this class up as an optional your choice to be here type of situation, then when you get there they treat you like a criminal. I suppose its because you are in the same building with people who are busted for felonies and given a chance to rectify their mistakes. Even the class itself is mixed in with drug users and alcoholics. I had an issue with that as I dont do drugs, smoke or drink anything except water, juice, and sweet tea.Other things I thought was wrong about my experience  were the comunity service work you have to complete. Well my issue was if I choose to be there and I have to reschedule to make it work with my schedule why am I required to complete extra comunity service work? That sounds like something that should be required of someone who has no choice in the matter. In fact we dont have a choice. The illusion of having a choice is only a suggestion.. I really dont like how they make it seem as though this is a volunteer type program in court but when you start the program, you are a terrible person who is subject to the court.I was caught speeding, I thought I was going to be taught driving safty from an officer who speeds every day but doesnt get caught. In fact I was babysat for four hours watching crash videos and informed that Myrtle Beach has a high meth addiction by an officer who speeds every day and doesnt get caught.$280.00 for the class, $35.00 for this person to not teach me anything useful or pertaining to my reason for being there, and $29.00 for comunity service work that you can so conveniently choose to pay off like am old school mob boss once and four extra hours because I was unable to make it to this class that I so conveniently chose to take. With all of the free money they are making off of us you would think they could actually afford to teach us practical information pertaining to our unique situation hence the name traffic education but that is sadly not the case. Old video, old power point presentations, even some old beat up personal analysis sheet thats  been re-copied one to many times. It may appear that I am salty because I had to pay the money and you would be somewhat right. However, if you were to bring this issue up in class they would waste no time telling you that you actually dont have to be there and you can freely go back to court as it is your choice to be there, but is it really? In America we have the right to the pursuit of freedom and happiness and most importantly the right to live. Not taking this class has a snowball effect on our right to live and survive. We all have responsibilities, we all have obligations. Not taking this class throws a wrench in that system causing monthly bills to rise, and at that point this class may no longer be a choice for those of us who live under the poverty level. Even gathering the money for the class may place some of us in financial straights and thats something I would really like them to understand when they waste no time informing people of their respective options. With all that said and done I would have been happy if I actually learned something useful. If I actually learned the rules of the road or how to be a defensive driver, but sadly none of that was present. In fact what I did take away from the class was how not to get caught speeding and everyone has a reason for doing the things they do... crazy right? Out of four hours and all this money spent this is all I took away from my experience, from my choice.
