I truly love the doctors at Forest Pediatrics and their nurses are the most friendly Ive met. They make my girls feel so comfortable. I think this is most important so Im giving 5 stars. These are people who take care of my children, make them well and make them feel comfortable and not scared.Great location for me and my family and very clean. But I do want to note the front desk staff (I consider new) thats been there awhile now, both ladies are NOT friendly, very dry personalities, they do not smile or make us feel welcomed upon check in, theyre short in their response and somewhat rude. Their persistence in payment is horrible. My ex husband had a family emergency and practically begged to call back and pay and they said we couldnt leave until payment was received. We have double insurance, Im sure youre being paid. The front desk is often the first opinion of patience so maybe reconsider the face of your practice.

I have been to Forest Pediatrics several times and regardless of which Doctor we are seen by they have all seemed to be attentive to my son and competent. This visit was our first time to be seen by Dr. Fershtman and he was knowledgeable and also offered a referral to a specialist as the skin condition and allergies my son has will require additional treatment beyond what a primary pediatrician can provide. I appreciate this Doctor’s willingness to refer to a specialist for further review of the cause rather than simply treating the symptoms.

We will not be back here! my son had ear pain and a low grade fever. we took him in to get checked for an obvious ear infection on Monday. MD said it looked fine and nothing was wrong with his ear. Next day, higher fever and he is crying in pain cause it got worse. We call them in the a.m. to get him on antibiotics. They call us back at 4:30pm to tell us we have to bring him in and if we cant take him in now, then take him to urgent care cause they will not give antibiotics. He is under 2 so most urgent cares will not take him. By the time we get an appointment next day, his ear drum ruptured from the infection and began leaking. We finally got him in to pediatric urgent care who gave him antibiotics and drops for his now ruptured ear drum. This could have been avoided if that had treated him the first time. this was poorly handled in my opinion and cause my son unneeded pain and suffering and risked permanent damage.

Forest Pediatrics has great patient care! Dr. Fershtman is very quick and efficient. The front desk was very polite and helpful when it came to questions I had regarding updated paperwork. The nurses were extremely helpful and actually cared about my concerns and questions. The entire staff was attentive and helpful the entire time which is what I am looking for in a pediatrician.

We are new to The Woodlands and I found this place through a mom’s group on Facebook. We saw Dr. White who is great, but unfortunately the overall experience was a bust for us and our 12-month-old son. The overall atmosphere of the office is stuffy. The front desk gals are not friendly. I don’t expect my child to love going to the doctor, but I truly felt that they could’ve made him feel more comfortable and confident during the appointment. Overall I’m disappointed and will be going elsewhere. There is talent and potential here but they need to make the place feel more warm and welcoming.

STAY AWAY!If you ever have an issue with the billing department you will not get your money back. They currently owe us $310 since the beginning of May. We have called and left multiple voicemails and emailed several times only to never hear back. The person in charge of billing is nearly impossible to speak directly to, and will never call/email you back. Weve now been working on this for 3 and a half months to no resolution.

Dr Freshtman always answers all of my questions and explains what I need to know. We were seen in a timely manner today. There have been times when the wait is about 30 minutes after appointment time. We’ve been coming here for 5 years and I’m satisfied with services. The 4 star rating is due to the occasional wait time.

We are former Lake Area Pediatrics patients of Dr. J S Robinson since birth. When he retired, our hearts broke. I feel that he left us in great hands, however, with Dr. Fershtman. We’ve only been to the Forest Pediatrics office a few times but each time I leave happy and feeling like my kids are in good hands. The entire staff has been very accommodating. They take their time listening to you and don’t rush you or treat you like a number. One of the nurses actually noticed my sons Rubik’s cube and spent a couple of minutes chatting and watching him complete it in under a minute. That may seem small but it means a lot to this Mama.

I was recommended this doctor via my neighborhood website and I decided to give it a chance due to the higher ratings but unfortunately I am very disappointed with the lack of service Ive experienced here.Firstly, the doctors. To be honest I was very happy with Dr. White. I think she is the only good thing about this practice and I hope one day she will leave this establishment and set up her own practice. The other doctor- Dr. Freshtman was subpar. He did answer my questions but he also said he wanted to give me paperwork but never did. It seemed he wasnt really interested or maybe he was busy but he didnt stay long.As other say the worse is the front desk staff and the billing lady. Ive been having billing problems and still having billing problems going on for a week that nobody have called me back on or have updated me on. They also made a mistake of charging me according to my insurance and all they keep on saying is office policy and wont bother looking into it or offering any apology. Everything time I come in they all have a sour look and are disgruntled if they have to help you. I am hoping my billing will come to a resolution soon because at this point I think they are just purposely holding my money.EDIT: After one month, I did get my money back and one of the staff member did call me, the only one who ever said she will call and she actually did. She also transfer my kids record and called the new doctor to follow up so I will add one star for her (sorry I forgot her name). Also I have another add about Dr. Freshtman that I am not pleased about. I found out since my baby was breech she needed a protocol hip ultrasound which he did not tell me was needed. Maybe he felt my baby was okay but my new doctor said its necessary for all breech babies to make 100% sure cause you cant tell by examination alone and if found early then treatment can be done early. I dont know if Dr. White would have done the same as him but I will recommend if you choose this practice to definitely choose Dr. White. All in all after all I went through I still would not recommend this practice. The only 5 star rating I would give is for Dr. White.

Who manages this office? This place is beyond terrible and dont think of their patients at all. Went to the place and the bigger woman at the front desk with the curly hair has no manners and no understanding of customer service. Stated a copay was 50$ but when did most insurance start to charge for preventative check ups for children? Had insurance verbalize to her my benefits before i came back for a refund. That same woman did not fail to not give an apology either. Most offices would understand most reasons anyone would choose a particular place is due to the fact that its covered under insurance. Went for a sick check up and they offered send stool samples to a lab. Failure to tell us that the lab is OUT OF NETWORK. So here we are, being billed for $1500 dollars for a stool sample that was inconclusive.Never had such horrible experiences with any other pediatricians offices when we were in Austin or Dallas area.We see Dr Leonard and shes okay. Location was convenient but with the entire office being subpar to Dallas and Austin offices weve been to, we will travel to Houston to be in the hands of better and more knowledgeable staff and physicians who care for their patients.

Love Dr.White and Dr.Leonard! We have been seeing them for 8 years.both of my children go here. ANYTIME i call i usually get an appointment same day sometimes same hour.(its not because of lack of patients, because there are tons)All the nurses are wonderful. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the wait times. But its worth it to have these amazing doctors!!

AMAZING pediatrician! Forest Pediatrics is wonderful. I wouldnt take my 8 month old son anywhere else. The staff is friendly, our wait time has always been minimal - less than 15 minutes, and Dr. White is terrific. She does a very thorough examination, even on an 8 month old. She answers any questions we have, no matter how trivial. Take your babies to see Dr. White.

I would complete recommend Dr. Ellohee White! She is amazing and I have never had wait time issues when seeing her. This is why I had to give 4 stars vs 5: Every time I’ve been here when Dr White was out of the office has been a disaster - try holding an active 10 month old with a yeast infection (irritable) in a patient room for over an hour - it’s not fun to say the least. Again anytime seeing Dr White, I haven’t waited over 15min and truly an amazing pediatrician.

Dr. Leonard is an amazing doctor. She gets a 5 star rating from us. This rating reflects our experience with the office staff, more specifically the dark haired lady in the front sign in window. Ill update her name when we go back tomorrow.Today we got to the appointment and were told our appointment was an hour earlier and that we had missed it. I verified that the appointment was at the time we thought it was last week just to make sure and I wrote it down, told my wife and entered it into my phone.Ok so even if it was a mistake, the lady was rude, and raised her voice when talking to me. Telling me she marked it as a no show and we needed to re-schedule anyway because we were 15 minutes late.Today the weather was crazy, there were wrecks everywhere and it was limited visibility with the heavy rain. We called a few times on our way to let them know and we would have even been able to solve the appointment time issue is they had answered the phone. Also, why isnt it a policy for them to give a courtesy call if we arent there 15 minutes before or if we are running late? Every doctors office, dentist etc Ive ever been to will give you a call either way. No one even called us about anything. Maybe they should make that a new policy. It would have been nice to get a Hey, you had an appointment scheduled at this time. Are you on your way, is everything okay or do you need to reschedule? Instead of the attitude we got when we got there. Maybe its a case of the Mondays but being professional at all times is important. We will see how tomorrow goes since we had to reschedule.*UPDATE*Much better today on the professionalism scale. I know that google will notify business immediately when ratings are sent and thats a good thing. I manage multiple business accounts.I stand by everything I said yesterday, but lets hope they saw the rating as not bashing the organization but as suggestions on policy on how to handle clients and maybe implement those courtesy phone calls like all other offices do and not be combative or rude when speaking to someone.

I will try to keep this brief with the least amount of ranting as possible. We recently moved to TX from MN, where our two boys received the best care possible. Upon moving here we asked folks in the neighborhood for recommendations. A couple of people recommended one doctor at Forest Pediatrics, but we made an appointment for our sons 3-year well visit with a doctor there other than the one recommended because I wanted our boys to have a male doctor like they had in the past, assuming he would provide the same level or service. (Perhaps that was our first mistake?) My husband took our son and described the experience as unimpressive, meaning the doctor did his job but didnt really give him a reason to keep coming back. In an attempt to be a good dad and respect my wishes (I insist on flu shots), he asked that our son get a flu shot and also inquired whether he could get one, too. The doctor said yes but that it would be billed separately. That was acceptable. He did NOT in any way mention that separate billing meant it would not be submitted to insurance, so my husband had no reason to think he would have to pay out of pocket whatever they charged for a flu shot, so he got the shot. After they left, the office called and demanded he provide his credit card information so they could charge him $50 for the flu shot. When my husband asked why, etc, they then explained they didnt submit to insurance and wed have to pay out-of-pocket and the charge was FIFTY DOLLARS. Then, we could submit to our insurance. My husband told them that wasnt how it was explained to him and to send us a bill. Upon learning of this, I called and left a message requesting a return call and an explanation. Some random, unapologetic person called back and restated their position and went on to LIE to me that the doctor told my husband this was how it worked (i.e. that he explained the billing policy). That absolutely didnt happen - had he been told the charge was $50 and hed have to chase our insurance co. for reimbursement, he wouldve gone down to CVS for free and gotten the same shot. Anyway, I expressed my disagreement. We vowed never to go back and a month later we get a card from the post office we have a certified letter. My husband had to take time from his busy day to go to the post office to pick up a stupid certified letter telling us they were terminating the patient relationship because we were not happy with the checkout process at [our] most recent visit, specifically our charge of the flu shot for adults/non-patients.Hey, newsflash Forest Pediatrics: WE WERE NEVER COMING BACK. WE FIRED YOU. Thanks for adding insult to injury with the certified letter we had to make a special trip to retrieve right before Christmas. Maybe you shouldve just let sleeping dogs lie? With all the choices out there, what parent would bring their child back after such a sour experience? Its one thing to provide bad service, but making it worse after the fact by being so unapologetic and insulting thereafter is another. Anyway, Im glad business is so good that you dont have to pay any mind to negative feedback. This family of four will take their needs elsewhere!(Please note that this is not another review by the same person who posted a negative review below. We just happen to have the same first initial and last name.)

Dr Leonard gets 5 stars from me the missing stars are because of the office. Dr Leonard is a younger doctor and she is amazing with my infant, fantastic bedside manor and patient. The office however I have noticed to not be very clean. More than once I’ve seen needle caps on the room floor. Dust buildup in other areas and the whole office looks outdated and old. I usually have to call 4 different times throughout the day before I can get someone on the phone just to schedule an appt. the nurses or medical assistants, (the girls helping you to rooms) are always very sweet. The office does charge an extra $25 for doing parantal pace with vaccines which is pretty petty I think. I wish Dr Leonard would move to a different office because I really don’t want to change DRs but I’m thinking I need to.

Not very happy with the staff at all. Ive been taking my son here since he was born and is now 8 months. They dont have any nurses working under the Drs. They are all medical assistances. My son needed reflux meds and the med assistance didnt know the difference between them. I had to correct her plenty of times. If you call and try to talk to one of the med assistances, forget it. You have to leave a message and most times they dont call you back until the following day, if that.I like the Drs but everytime I took my son here we waited over an hour between seeing the nurse and seeing the Dr. The last time we waited TWO hours! That is insane and I will no longer waste my time.
