Ive been going to TM Optometry for a few year now - I dont have eye insurance so I needed something affordable - but they really do a great and efficient job of treating every patient. Granted, I dont have a lot of eye problems - just blind as a bat. So I cant speak to major problem solving patient treatment-- but for basic Optometry its the best!

I was very pleased with my appointment. The optometrist was quick, thorough and answered all my questions. She explained everything she was doing and the staff were careful and efficient as well. Well done! I will continue to come here and make them my optometrist of choice.

Fast and easy to get an appointment online. Good service and no eye dilation needed. Staff was friendly and professional. Inside Costco, so you can hit two birds with one stone. Would definitely use this optometry again. Also, takes Spectera insurance (among others).

Very satisfied with my appointment at the Costco Optometry dept. The doctor, Ted M., was very efficient and knowledgeable, his assistant Ana was cordial and Judy at the optical store was delightful - she even helped pick the best frame for my face. Highly recommend their service.

This place had very good service! I felt very comfortable talking to everyone. I would definitely be going back! Also, everything was very clean! They even has a little garbage can look alike for the used pens.

I was seen on time, COVID19 protocols were in place, and both the technician and the optometrist, Dr. Reed were very professional. I appreciated the time, Dr. Reed took to answer my questions. I was then given my prescription and stepped over into the Costco optical department and ordered glasses - seamless experience!

It was very automated. The clerks with were helpful and personable. The optometrist was very automated and I was looking for something wrong. As a nurse, I would think he would be grateful for that my eyes were OK and healthy. I just felt like he was looking for something and he was disappointed not seen anything. I didn’t it was in a very uplifting experience.It was like “ checking the box.”

People was very nice. Office was very clean right down to the ink pens! There Equipment is up to date, and is impressive to me. Doctor explained what he was doing and he made me feel very comfortable and relaxed.

TERRIBLE customer service!I just went for an appointment. I waited at the eyewear counter for about 5min Forman available service rep only for them to inform me that it was a separate business and I needed to ring the bell next to the door (information I should have received when my appointment was confirmed yesterday!).Ring the bell, the girl acts like shes afraid to come out the door but doesnt want me to let me in. Takes my temp, hands me a clipboard, and tells me to have a seat in the eyewear center to fill out my paperwork. There were 4 chairs right next to each other and 3 of them were occupied!I looked at her and said uh no... the eye center is busy with a lot of customers and Im not comfortable sitting there between three other people! She just looked at me. So, I handed her te clipboard and back and Ill pass she rolled her eyes and said okay.WTH...theres a chair inside the door next to the counter for customers but you want me to sit outside where its busy and crowded and you dont even seem to feel comfortable being?Doc needs a new medical assistant.

I was promptly taken at the time of my appointment. The assistants were very friendly and the machines looked new. After various exams I went in to talk to the Optometrist and he did additional checks he took time to explain the health of my eyes and answered all my questions. I sent my prescription to Zenni and my prescription seem perfect. I recommend TM Optometry during COVID as all his staff followed all the protocols for a safe environment.

1st time. Dr. Miyasaki was very informative. Explained the overall health of my eyes. The ladies working with Dr. Miyazaki were also very informative when doing the preliminary eye exam. Overall wonderful experience.

Smooth pre-appointment process by being able to book and submit the paperwork online (though I did call this time rather than make the appointment on the website, to make sure they accepted my VSP). Very efficient and organized exam process and office too. I saw Dr. Reed during this visit and have seen Dr. Miyasaki in the past. Both are very warm, congenial, caring doctors on top of being skilled and good at explaining and addressing eye health concerns. Ive been going to TM Optometry for the past 4-5 years and am very confident in seeing them for my eye exams and contact lens fittings!

Great 1st time visit with Dr Reed. They have Great COVID protocols in place and Dr Reed was very nice and knowledgeable.

Dr Miyasaki was efficient, but did not take time to explain exam results or the timeline I had to get things corrected if they werent satisfactory. He arbitrarily (without consulting me) assigned a bifocal magnification that I tried to live with for almost a year, but finally reached the point of frustration. Optical store refused to remake the lenses with a weaker bifocal magnification unless I got an updated prescription. When I contacted TM Optometry to ask for an updated prescription, I was treated very condescendingly, and insulted by the person who returned the call from his office.Cannot recommend. Will look for an optometrist who is willing to take the time to provide better customer service.

Yesterday was my first eye exam at TM Optometry located in Costco in Concord. I like the fact that you can schedule online via calendly. They are very good about reminders & collecting insurance information prior to actual appt. With that, when it was day of actual appt, it went smoothly as insurance is already verified so that any claims to be processed will be filed without delay. The anticipated arrival 10-15mins prior to appt that they inform you of is ample time to get the necessary paperwork completed upon arrival before you get called up for your appt. Everything is COVID compliant. Everything is wiped down, handwashing, hand sanitizing, sanitizing of equipment, no physical contact, masks worn correctly (securely & over mouth & nose, snugly over cheeks and under chin; some even had face shield for extra protection). They even have a used pen bin so that they can sterilize those. Theres foot markings and verbal instructions on where to walk to, sit down, etc throughout your appt. Staff is very kind, thorough, yet move swiftly...they communicate well between them about what to do...Dr. letting them know what to do at the conclusion of my appt, & them acknowledging & informing Dr. who & where the next pt & their chart is & what was done already. Dr. Miyosaki is very informative and patient during exam. All in all, it was smooth, safe, and friendly. Im glad that I decided to give them a try. Will continue to come here annually.
