I have had numerous different massage therapist and never had bad experience.

As a massage therapy educator, with National Holistic Institute, it is a joy to know that companies like Massage Envy at the Willows are diligently and safely making massage therapy available, giving clients and therapists a space to safely and comfortably give and receive the valuable work of massage!

The massage therapists have always been great. No issues with them. The issue I have is with the store itself and management. I have been going to this location since the end of March.They decided to call me at 6 pm 8/24/19 and say I am late for an appointment. I NEVER booked an appointment, and all my previous ones have been in the morning.When I told the person on the phone they told me the manager is waving a fee for the no show. Now this is cool and all however I didnt book this so why would I be penalized. It literally felt like I was being threatened for future appointments if I no call no show.The worst part is I cant even cancel my membership online. I was told each location is owned by different owners but I am definitely done going to this location.Now I need to find a new place to get a massage 3 out of 7 bad outcomes in a short amount of time is too much for me. Such a shame since it was in a good location.

It was my first time at massage envy and the experience was amazing! I live in San Francisco and ended up coming to this one in concord due to all the other locations being fully booked, and I’m very happy that I came to this location.My therapist was Theresa and I absolutely love her! She was attentive, made me feel very comfortable, and really made sure I was satisfied with my experience. She exceeded my expectations! She alone deserves 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! I am giving 5 stars to the absolutely amazing staff at the Pleasant Hill Location. Some Massage Envy locations make people feel guilty for not having a membership or not rebooking before you leave, but this location seemed to care more about who I was as a person and wanted to treat the way I wanted to be treated. I have been here only one time but the overall experience was better than any other Spa I have been to and I received the BEST Massage of my life from Jared. He had amazing pressure, a soft voice, and a truly caring personality. He went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and even noticed what kind of tea I had before the session and made me a new cup upon my leaving. 6 Stars to him if I could.

This was the worst massage experience Ive ever had. Ill start with my expectations--the room should exude warmth, it should have relaxing scents, a nice warm bed to lie down on, warm massage oil and the masseuse has warm, soft hands. And now for what I experienced--the room was cold. The bed was cold. The massage oil was cold. There was no aromatherapy. And the masseuse had cold hands. There was no way to relax so I was more stressed when I left than when I arrived.

Got an awesome massage and facial when i attended a free event and loved both of them! A very good incestment in yourself!

Massage Envy was simply Wonderful, I recieved an amazing semi deep tissue massage, the hot towel treatment just topped it off. The therapist was very attentive and a great conversationalist, we laughed and talked about how she enjoyed the arts as I do as well. She was very professional and courteous, she wanted to make sure that she didnt massage too deeply as that was her specialty lol. Only on occasions did it get a little bit hard. Thank you so much for an amazing experience, I felt renewed and invigorated. Lol

Please go to other mesage Envy, dont even bother coming to this location. Horrible and unprofessional experience.I had an appointment at 5 pm, they told me the mesage therspist would be with me in 5 min, i waited for 45 min in the waiting area and no one ever came to get me for the appointment, I decided to get up and leave.VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!

The people are very nice but constrained by corporate requirements that make it very difficult it to make an appointment. I tried to reserve a spot and they needed a Credit Card to reserve it, which I did not have available. I was told they could wait for me to call back up to 30 minutes. I couldnt meet their requirements so I could not spend my money with them.O well.

Both my husband and I went in for massages with back pain. Both of our therapists completely avoided those areas that we said hurt most. It was a very unsatisfactory massage.On a lighter note, the front desk staff was on point!

They will take charge your credit card for sessions you did not book once you become a member. When ever you bring any issue up to the supervisors, you will get completely ignored. This establishment is very disorganized and the customer service is horrible. I am definitely going to a different location from now on.

I tried booking my appointment yesterday, and i asked if you guys have earlier appointment and she says the only opening i have is with at 3:00 and no others, she says she is very good, and i booked her...then another receptionist calls me in few minutes telling me shes not available and I have to book with another massage person,so she starts telling me all the time availability, I told her you guys didnt have time opening,ok! then she told me I have one for 1:00 with alxcia,I asked her if want one for 11/2 Swedish massage,and she said yes alxcia is available...I booked it and I was looking forward to that Swedish massage....I came in today March 17th 2018,checked in waiting for alxcia, then alxcia softly saying my name Sheila and looking at another lady sitting next to me and telling her to come on, since I heard my name is started to get up,and alxcia telling other lady to come on,lady said are you sure and alxcia said yes Im sure come on....how does alxcia know that was Sheila??? Then I waited it was 1:10 and receptionist then telling that alxcia was not in today she is sick, and didnt someone called you yesterday??? I said no. She was kind of nervous...then another receptionist very nice and kind one I forgot her name came in telling me the alxcia called in wrong lady and,either i can have someone else or reschedule...since I was their I didnt want to come back home without massage,so I said I will get the massage,so I got so mild massage and I didnt feel like I got massage.....and 2nd receptionist new,everything what alxcia did....I dont know what alxcia was thinking of me..it seemed like she didnt want to give me massage at all....i dont know what the other lady though of this,she got someone else....so I came out,receptionist tells me,I will be credited back 1/2 hour back,and next time I come in will get complimentary that worth $10... I was so upset while I was getting your massage....I am not the person who writes the reviews..this upset me so much! I am considering cancelling my membership..I do have 9 left. I am a business women and I dont treat anyone like this....last year I gave my 2 employees gift cards,and told them to become members and they did because of me...I never ask for any complimentary thing from you guys!

A relaxing experience. Membership makes this place totally affordable.

The facials are thorough and very relaxing.

After 4 emails back and forth (very disorganized) and driving 21 miles in the dark, which I dont do very well, they told me I didnt have an appointment when I got there. And by the way The Willows is in Concord, not Pleasant Hill.
