I recently went to visit Dr. Josh and the team at Barton Chiropractic after sustaining a neck injury that just wouldn’t stop bothering me. I had never been to a chiropractor before and I was nervous about the treatment as well as the cost - but I had to do something about my neck. Long story short, I am SO grateful for Dr. Josh, Taylor, Dominique, and everyone at Barton. Not only did Dr. Josh improve my neck, but he was very patient with me and took care to explain the treatment and answer any questions I had. Taylor was a huge help and worked with me to find the best financial option to ensure I got the care I needed. The absolute cherry on top was Dominique. Her smile was so bright and her personality so warm that I was immediately put at ease. I always felt cared for even if the office was busy. I don’t often write reviews, but my experience at Barton Chiropractic was so stellar that I had to say something. And my neck! It’s a million times better! Thank you, Dr. Josh! Seriously.

We met the Barton Chiropractic staff at a community event and my wife decided she wanted to try chiropractic care. I begrudgingly went along, but with great reservations. Surprisingly, it turned out that I hadnt entered a den of snake oil salesman, and after a year Im nearly pain free and able to move freely. X-rays show better spine alignment, my hips are the same height, and my vertebrae arent smashed together in my lower back. Yep, Im believer.

I had been searching for a new chiropractor for a while after leaving my last one. I have run into several who could not adjust my neck. After several months without chiropractic care, I could barely move my neck enough to look behind me when backing my car up. Just after the first visit with Dr. Jake,, lbacked up in the parking lot turning my head farther than I had in years. It was such a good feeling. So glad I found this place.

I have been seen by a chiropractor since I was young, due to a lower back injury and I would go every couple months for one to two adjustments as the doctor recommended, but I never really felt 100%. I recently started heavy lifting, (over 400lb hip thrusts, etc) but could never reach my maximum potential due to my constant lower back and shoulder pain. I was referred my best friend Dominique who works here, she told me countless stories about how Dr. Josh helped babies with colic, Olympic lifters, kids with autism, and the list went on and on, and that she could set me up an appointment to see if Dr. Josh could help me with all the things I had going on.When I came in my paperwork was ready for me, I saw many happy clients walking in and out, and I immediately felt comfortable and at ease. Dominique had made cookies for patients to enjoy, was managing many patients , and even still made time to interact with all the kids.Dr. Josh then took detailed notes and dove deep into all my medical history and previous injuries. He did a thorough exam and took specific X-rays on my back. At that point I was like WOAH, and thinking wow dr josh really cares about helping me. I went over my x-rays the following day with my boyfriend there with me and I was in AWE. Dr. Josh shared great news that he could accept for care, he made sure to explain everything in great detail. I must say they are expensive, but you absolutely get what you pay for. I have seen many chiropractors but Dr. Josh goes above and beyond for his patients in all aspects. I 10000 percent recommend Barton Chiropractic!!

I’ve been going to Dr.Barton chiropractor’s for over 10 years and dr. Josh is the best doctor ever he fixed me and my entire family. I needed a lot of help because I have scoliosis in my back and I have herniated discs in my lower back and I’m always in pain and he has helped me with that pain and actually grew half an inch believe it or not I was 5’5 and couple months into Dr. Josh‘s care I was five 5 1/2 so that has to do with my scoliosis getting better also my daughter wore a shaping helmet when she was a baby for nine months she’s now 5 years old now and took some x-rays of her back and realize that she was forming an S shape in her back so she was heading into scoliosis luckily we caught it on time and now she’s getting corrected. My whole family are taken care of by dr.Josh and Dominique and Taylor are awesome they’re always happy to see you they’re always happy and interacting with my kids specially with my little girl she loves going there we love Barton chiropractic thank you guys!

Dr. Jake and his staff are the best! We met Dr. Jake at the Greek festival in Concord, Ca. He explained how chiropractic care could help our daughter who at 6 years old was starting to suffer from migraines. After a few visits, her headaches disappeared! I began to see the benefit of chiropractic care for kids and began taking my children. The office is extremly kid friendly.I had a different chiropractor and declined to be seen by Dr. Jake... But one day my back went out so bad that I couldnt walk, stand, or even lay down without excruciating pain! My previous chiropractor couldnt alleviate it. I turned to Dr. Jake for help and have been seeing him ever since. His care is like none other. It is tailor made for each patient and the proof is in the X-rays! You dont just feel better you are shown the improvements. Dr. Jake and Dr. Josh are amazing and you should give them a chance to take away your pain.

Honest Review coming up...I had been body building in my early 20s after falling in love with weight training. What i believe happened, was in my journey to lift over 1,000lbs, i never sought the care for my body, as everyone usually once thought, Im 20, no problem, no sweat! I got hurt at work with my lower back and it was never quite the same after. Hurt it again 2 more times, requiring hospitalization, morphine... the works... my weight spiked up quickly due to depression, meds, and being used to a high caloric intake with weight training. Welp... In my late 20s, i had chronic back pain and primary physician told me i need to loose weight... kind of hard to do when living with back pain and after every workout, being put down and needing ice packs, medication just to enjoy life with recreational sports... i had an MRI done with specialist and i asked my physician if ill ever lift again? He stopped typing, looked at me dead in the eye and said, what do you think?... that crushed me... Thank God for my wife searching everywhere for Chiro care for me as Id given up and never thought Id play or lift weights again... i was bitter when i heard, we can help you... i had the Ive heard that before attitude...Then my wife told me we had an appointment with Barton Chiro, not going to lie, same attitude. But after deciding to commit to what i thought was my last try with a care program, Doctor Jake has given me my life back in the 5 months of care i went through. I would be anxious with the daily pain. I cant say im 100% which is what he upfront told me but i had never seen, nor felt improvement until i came to Doctor Jake. Im sure continuing the maintenance program, my improvement prevented will go higher.! His lively attitude and cheering me on really helped. Im finally playing soccer again and guess what? Im not in agony after a game. Further more? Im on a pretty tough crossfit program too and its up to ME now to get my health back! I wouldnt be in this position had my wife not brought me to Doctor Jake. Doctor Josh fills right in if Doctor Jake is not in for any reason. What made me feel comfortable with that its when Doctor Josh said, oh hey, Doctor Jake told me you had something going on with your shoulder right? I knew Doctor Jake takes care of his patients after having a Doctor Josh say that and verify. It let me know they do communicate and care.Taylor and Dom make you feel very welcome when you come in! Very friendly and remember their patients too! I seen them have fun moments with kids, laughs, really making it feel family friendly instead of a typical medical office. When in to address a disc slip within my lower spinal region which occurred during a basketball injury, per the advice of my primary care doctor. Not only has Dr. Barton and co. fixed the excruciating pain I was experiencing within my lower spine, they also addressed and FIXED my long term sciatica nerve pain that Ive felt for years prior to that recent basketball injury.Continuous care at their facility along with a few life changes that theyve suggested has brought me up to a point where I can continue playing sports without the fear of another disc slip. Went from barely able to sit or sleep without feeling pain, from now taking on new sports like mixed marital arts, and swimming. Amazes me with how much you can do with a strengthen back with no pain. Highly recommend going if youre looking to come out stronger than ever.

DR. JAKE HAS FOREVER CHANGED MY LIFE, WITH NO SURGERY!!I had been going to Doc Barton for years. He has helped me tremendously with my injuries. I had been experiencing dizziness for 8 years before I found him and he fixed me right up in just a few months.Being a retired groomer and then a dog walker for 31 years you can imagine the havoc these physical jobs have had on my spine. In 2015 my knee went out and I could barely walk, just on my tippy toes. This is when Dr. Jake stepped in with his knowledge of sports related injuries. With his gentle adjustments, his patience and his calming approach, he got me walking in just a few weeks. Although it took my knee a while to totally heal he saved me from surgery!In 2016 I was diagnosed with osteoporosis, compression fractures and degeneration. The pain in my lower back was so intense that I couldn’t bend, sit back or lie down. I would take two Aleve’s just to be able to sleep a little at night. Then upon getting up it would bring on excruciating and debilitating spasms. This kind of pain was affecting my everyday life, my being.Then, once again, Dr. Jake stepped in and was willing to work with my new issues. He started out with a gentle stretching technique (decompression) which I was actually able to handle and I immediately gained even more trust in him. His adjustments have been very uplifting and effective! Along with Dr. Jakes care he has taught me stretching techniques to strengthen muscles and tendons, which have helped me immensely. Barton Chiropractic have been helping our family stay physically strong since 1997 when I was pregnant with our second child and experiencing severe sciatic pain. If you have back pain or want to get checked out this is the place I highly recommend Barton Chiropractic. The staff is knowledgeable with many years of experience. I use to commute 5 days a week 118 miles round trips for a number of years with severe back pain. Wont lie was skeptical about attendinng the chiropractic visits 3 time a week fearing I wont get healthier. Over time I felt positive results I am sleeping, running and working better feel like new person.

My girlfriend has been a patient here for a few years and has terrific results with all the doctors in the office. I was in a car accident, and knowing the quality of care at this office I chose to head here immediately after the accident. Even though I did not have an appointment they were able to begin helping me. By the time I arrived at the office I was experiencing a tremendous amount of pain in my back, shoulder, hip, arms and head. Dr. Eric has been treating me since 2009 and has kept me in great shape. Two pregnancies and three children later, - one single & one set of twins - he is still keeping my wellness on track. I nursed all of my babies and would have the worst stiff neck and sore back; I always felt back to normal after receiving an adjustment from the Dr.I recommend him to all of my friends and acquaintances without hesitation. Standing at 68 with the hands of a gentle giant, I feel secure and well taken care of while receiving adjustments from Dr. Eric.

If you decide to go there make sure you have a fully charged battery on your smart phone so you have something to entertain you. The waiting room plays kid videos & there are a few magazines to keep you company. Once you get to the special room they have an introduction video. Its cheesy to say the least. Everything they do in the office is scripted-they tell everyone the same exact thing. Nothing is said or done without it being scripted. The entire experience in their office is fake. Dont believe me, sit in their waiting room & listen. Its a complete turn off. They want you to have your spouse there for the second appointment (yes you have to do this in 2 separate appointments which means you have to take more time off from your job) because you know ITS BAD (like you have a terminal illness bad) and you need the support (and money). Once they take all your money because they want payment up front once you commit to them be prepared for the doctors to spend 5-10 minutes with you per adjustment. If you do commit to let them work on you be prepared to be treated like your in a cattle herd. You get a room number on a card, go to the door that coordinates with that number, push in a knob to inform the doctor you are there, & wait. This is a no frills chiropractor office-you get in and you get out. On the plus the receptionist in front always knows your name-cant say the same for the doctors. To them your just another number in the door

Dr. Westover has worked on me many times and it has always been a great experience. He is very good at putting me at ease and talking me through what it is his is doing to me and why. I always leave feeling much better and to be honest I look forward to the next time I get to be adjusted.

Staff are very polite and wants to help you in any way.Cons - Long term plans only which you must pay percentage of care up front! To expensive for the low/middle class. Can easily cost 10x more than other chiropractors.Do not offer a pay per visit option must pay in bundles of visits.

I have been coming to this clinic for well over a year and a half for my neck, back & hip pain. The services provided to me by Dr. Bartons, team of Father & Son have been priceless. I still have lingering effects OFF & ON, but able to return to my routines with out any discomfort. If I continue to improve like I have been then I see a bright future ahead. I have been under care at Barton Chiropractic for almost 3 months now and I must say, this office is different... in a GOOD way! They dont tell you what you want to hear, they tell you what you need to hear. As an athletic child and now an injury-prone adult, I have been through my fair share of injuries. I dont like drugs and pain killers-they seem to cover up one problem but cause another. Too many side effects. I was looking for natural way to finally give my body the healing it deserves. I was very impressed wit my initial impressions of the staff here. Friendly and welcoming. The Doctors really listened in our consultation. X-rays were done VERY quickly! They even invited my significant other to my next appointment where they were able to get to the root of my issues, show me my x-rays and outline the problem areas. All of our questions were answered and we were presented with my personal care plan-AKA-What is it going to take to get me healthy? They took the time to make sure I understood all the information given to me so I could make an educated decision as to go forward with care.What I like best about this office is MY care plan the Doctors created just for me. No wonder I had never improved while seeing other chiropractors who told me I should come in just 3-4 times per month or as needed. If youre looking for serious Chiropractors who I consider specialists, make an appointment at Barton Chiropractic! If youre looking for an office where you can come and go as you please or as you get hurt... Id look elsewhere because these Doctors will tell you that 1 or 2 adjustments wont help.

I was a firm chiropractic skeptic when I was pushed into trying a few adjustments telling me how much better I would feel. I made a financial choice to go to a chiropractor that said x-rays were not necessary since money was an issue and my insurance would not cover it. After 2 years of treatments there was no lasting pain relief - in fact many times I was in worse pain after an adjustment than before. THIS WAS NOT DR BARTON.After talking to several people I decided to give chiropractic one more chance. Traditional doctors had me on several prescriptions for pain and I was extremely concerned with the increasing number of prescriptions and side effects. By the time I saw Dr Barton I was frightened because I had started having serious mobility problems in my arm, shoulder, neck and lower back. He asked me to have my boyfriend come to the consultation when we reviewed my xrays; not to scare me, but to address any question he might have also, it is better to answer his questions directly than to straighten out misquotes later.After the consultation appointment I took the information he gave me and did my own research. Everything he said checked out, nothing was blown out of proportion. He never claimed he could work miracles, but that is exactly what I feel I have received. Not only did i regain the mobility I wanted - but even more. Plus, he has taken so much of my pain away that I no longer take my prescriptions! This is also the first year in almost 20 years that I have not had multiple bronchial infection or pneumonia. Even my allergies and asthma have improved.I have, and will continue to highly recommend Dr. Barton. In his office I hear nothing but positive comments from other patients. I am shocked by the comments I have read on yelp - especially from people that live so far away from his office. People should remember you tend to receive what you expect to receive - positive thoughts, or at least an open mind are essential for any form of treatment.

I had the most bizarre experience here. I had never been to a chiropractor before, and was VERY hesitant. My neck had been hurting for months, so I decided to give them a try. I went in for a consultation, and he took some x-rays and even cracked my neck. At the end of the visit, the chiropractor said he needed for me to come back b/c he saw something in my x-rays that could be an issue, but wouldnt tell me what the problem was! He and the receptionist were also very insistant that I bring my husband in for the next visit. I do not need my husband to come with me to doctors visits, and they made it seem like something was really wrong with me. It was very unsettling, but I reassured them I do not need my husband to miss work to come to a chiropractor appt with me. I made a follow up appt even though I knew I did not want to return.I called my doctor afterwards to make an appointment with a legitimate doctor. My doctor also asked to get a copy of the x-rays from the chiropractor. Once I sent my doctor the x-rays, she told me the x-rays were not even taken of my neck. It was a different back of my back! The chiropractor was completely lying that he saw something wrong in my x-rays!!!! I went in for proper xrays at the doctors office, and they concluded there was nothing wrong with my neck. It was stress in my muscles! BEWARE of this place. They are shady.

Wow! I love Barton Chiropractic. Dr. Barton and Dr. Jake are both very specialized in what they do, and I’ve personally seen how they have positively impacted massive amounts of people. I tend to ask weird questions and they answer each every one without a problem and without making me feel uncomfortable. I have scoliosis and I have physically seen a difference in my height. Dr. Jake helps not only with my spine but also if I’m having problems with my knee or shoulder, he takes the time to look at it and adjust as needed. I never feel rushed and I always feel like my voice is heard. Highly recommend.

Doc has helped me through years of sports injuries and a car accident as a teenager. My overall health since is better than ever, I havent had a cold or allergies in over 3 years! Dr. Eric came to my aid in one of the worst moments of my life. I was in agony and literally crawled into his office. I had extruded a disc and I could hardly stand to be touched. He worked on me with the activator and provided sufficient relief for me to walk out of the office. Big man, big hands, gentle touch - thats Dr Eric.

The staff is always courteos, friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Yasi is an excellent Chiropractor. She takes her time with you, and answers your questions. You never feel rushed. My body feels much better than it has in years. My range of motion has improved immensely.

I started to get pain on the right side of my hip while running long distances. I went to physical therapy for the problem but had no improvement. Once I started coming here, I found out that a pinched nerve was causing the problem. It has been 5 months and I am 90% better and working on the last 10% as my body continues to heal. The main thing for me is that I am able to run again without surgery!

Ive been a patient at Barton Chiropractic for almost 6 years. I have had chronic back pain since I was a teenager. Due to the severe back injury that I incurred many years ago I deal with daily pain. Dr Barton and his staff have proven invaluable in the management of spinal health and keeping my pain to a minimum.

Ive been going to Doctor Westover for more than a year now, but recently developed severe back/neck/shoulder pain due to increased stress levels and other health complications. It was so bad that I couldnt turn my neck, I couldnt lift anything and even sleeping was painful. Dr. Westover worked with me almost daily to remedy the issues and I feel great!
