I went to Sarah to have an updo done for a wedding and she did an amazing job! I showed her a picture of what I liked and she gave suggestions on how it would work with my hair type. She showed me what she was doing along the way to make sure I liked it and it ended up looking perfect. Can’t recommend her enough

I have long, fine hair and workout like it’s my job (it is) and managing my hair has become a pain. I’ve been getting a blowout every other week as self care. My stylist was super nice and attentive throughout the entire process and knew a lot about hair.Unfortunately this is not the place to go for a blowout. After shampooing, deep conditioning and combing out, she asked if we could do beachy waves instead of a blowout because she has a bad shoulder. I hate confrontation and just said ok, which I shouldn’t have (that’s on me) . I booked a blowout, I wanted a blowout and I should have asked for a blowout.She rough dryed my hair in sections, brushed and then went in with a curling iron. It looked ok when I left, even if it was a bit flat and still felt a bit damp at the roots/in the back.Sadly, when I got home my curls fell pretty flat and the next day it looked terrible. No volume at the roots, frizzy but no curl and felt sticky like it had too much product in it. I’ve had previous blowouts last up to 5 days while working out daily, so 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️I feel bad because she was so nice, and I should have spoken up, but also please don’t take a blowout appointment if you’re not able to give a blowout.I’ll stick with dry bar for blowouts because they had no issues with my long hair & it looked great days later.Overall nice store, great customer service & friendly staff just not up to par with styling services elsewhere.

I love Ulta!! It’s like a girls dream. A mixture of the expensive luxury cosmetics and the drug store stuff. So amazing. The people who work here are nice and don’t bother you, but are readily available if you have any questions. Love

I rated this place not for their selection but their customer service from different staff members that helped me. I was looking for a specific shade of brown matte liquid lipstick & they went as far as checking their stock & back stock to see if they had it, which they didnt & recommend similar shades or equivalent to what I was looking for. It was interesting to see everyone working together to solve my minut request. I enjoyed seeing the selection of other products I didnt even know existed, thanks for that.

I came into this location today to get a much needed haircut. I had the opportunity to have my haircut done by Jasmine W. and it was such an amazing experience! My hair had super dead ends along with some previously treated hair. I told Jasmine how I was not happy with how my hair looked and she made some great some suggestions of what would be best. She showed me the two inches that would be cut and it came out perfect! My hair looks so much better and healthier. During my cut she made many great suggestions to help my dry scalp and some other products Im going to purchase.Im definitely going to go back to her as she was kind, resourceful, and very talented at cutting/styling hair.

Wait: 10-15minutes outside, not too badOnce we were in associate Elicia was super helpful from beginning to the end checking us out. She was very knowledgeable about the products I asked about, offered alternative products, let us know about deals/sales that were going on & check out was quick & easy.

I love their products and the variety of both high end and drug store products but the employees there are not the best. Multiple times I went in and was never greeted or helped, the one person to help me was the security guard who tried to get someone to help me and when I asked them about a type of concealer I wanted they had no idea what I was talking about and simply did not want to help me. I then asked if they can please see if they have a product from the drugstore section and they gave it a quick glance and told me no. When I asked why on the website it said it was in stock at this location, the two women working there behind the counter starting to get smart with me and tell me off about how I was wrong for asking and how I should go somewhere else and not that Ulta. I am really quite and never want to bother anyone, and I simply left after, feeling bad as if I was a nuisance. Meanwhile a couple of other women came in and were being helped and greeted nicely. I am a Hispanic woman and I am not claiming that these women were discriminating against me or anything like that, but it was weird how when two white women walked in, they were treated like first class while I was told to shop somewhere else. :( I go to the Ulta now in Pleasant Hill, they are kind, and the store has more products such as MAC, and a bigger drug store section :)

In general a good store people super friendly BUT apparently they never have samples ..... (even when I saw them there ).... is a shame they dont give costumers samples since I have been getting good products when some sample catch my attention .... other than that the staff is very friendly . I like the store .

LOVE Ulta! This store is great! It has such a huge variety of products and brands to choose from itll make your head spin! And they keep getting more... It seems every time I go, theyve got something new and exciting that I just have to try!

Its funny so see such high ratings on here, specially when they say their customer service is wonderful. For some odd reason, every time my girls and I visit, they seem to not be helpful. What theyre good at is following you around like youre gonna steal things. Instead of following you around why cant they just ask if you need help? Not one time whenever we visit did they ask if we needed help. This is the worst place I have ever been to. By far the rudest staff. Wost customer service ever. The only one that said anything was the security guard. Thats the only reason why they even have a one star. If there were option on giving a negative star this would be the perfect time. Oh and dont go there dressed down cause they will definitely be rude and nasty to you. Youre better off going to Sephora. They have better customer service and theyre more friendly. Unlike the staff here. Thats the last time we will ever buy anything from here!!!!!

The only downfall is that like products are not grouped together. For example, all of the nail polish is not in one place. It is in 3 different places throughout the store. Things are separated and categorized by perceived value. Grocery store brands are kept away from professional brands.

I went inside ready to drop a few bills if it came to it, but as soon as I walked in security was eyeballing me as he was talking back and forth with the staff. I HATE being treated like a thief! I spent $90 and left as quickly as possible. I dont even get treated that way in the Fairfield Ulta! I do not recommend this place for shopping.

Ive only been here once and I love it! Kat helped me out and she was so sweet! She made me look so beautiful! I want to learn how to do my makeup so one of my best friends took me here. Kat not only for matched me but took her time to explain everything she was doing and let me watch while she was doing it with a mirror. She made sure the makeup I got went well with my skin type. I got $200 with of makeup that will last me for quite a while 😁P.s. there are two sides that have different price ranges! One side is more cost friendly than the other but both sides have great products so you could look great with any budget 😉💋

Concord ulta is the best ulta I have been to. The staff is very knowledgeable and store is organized.

I just had a haircut from a girl with a tattoo on her arm, from long hair to short hair but unfortunately my hair isnt cut nicely. It was almost good but it isnt cut evenly. Some parts are long and some parts are short but it was supposed to be a very even haircut. :( It was really disappointing though

Came in for lip liner. But I really needed foundation. Met Mathew at the NARS bar. Got some solid stuff. Walked away with a fresh face (thanks to Matt) and the ammo to repeat it at home. Ulta is really such a nice place.

Overpriced. I had my hair and makeup done for an event. Its was $200+. The make up artist was just a kid whod watched a you tube tutorial and had no clue and had to ands how to do things. She got bright red lip stick all over around my lips and covered it with concealer instead of removing it.

The staff at this Ulta are friendly and helpful. Rose at the salon is so sweet, and knew exactly what I wanted with my hair! Best Ulta in the area, hands down

This ultra is better than the one in Pinole/San Pablo area as it carries more stock and better options. Like my Lancome. Staff was really helpful.

Bought stuff for my wife... she loved it...

A manager or someone decided to shadow my girlfriend and I....interestingly enough she was the only Latina customer in the store....we received no contact by associates, but instead looked up to see them staring suspiciously at us from over other aisles.

They seemed to be under staffed I was, in the store over an hour and could not locate anyone to help shade match me for a foundation. I walked arround, and looked for an employee literally the staff there was either cashiers or helping others for a really long time. Ended up giving up grabbed whatever. No one was ever available and no one ever asked if I needed assistance, and I was legit looking like a confused mess.

Lousy customer service, eyebrow department not helpful at all, they just stand around and talk with the other employees.

I like Ulta because they have everything.. However the customer service is lacking. I went into the store because I couldnt figure out how a product worked and I was told I aint got the patience for that. I tried to let it go but after walking around the store for 30 minutes I still could not get any help. The one in Brentwood is so much better!!
