I took my daughter to Magicland for a routine exam and cleaning. I was informed she had 8 developing cavities-- which was shocking to me, as she has never had any cavities. I was then informed she may need 2 root canals and provided an extensive treatment plan. I decided to obtain a second opinion. I took my daughter to a different dental practice for a follow up visit. Shockingly, I was informed, my daughter has NO cavities. Im so relieved, and happy, but confused at the same time. How is this possible? Either, the dentist looked at the wrong x-rays or she intentionally misled me. Furthermore, I paid $500 in additional services (with Magicland) that she did not need. She has no cavities, none developing either. Shame on you!!!!!

Babys first dental visit was brilliant! We were set at ease from the beginning by the sounds of Moana playing throughout the office. The front desk staff, nurses and dentist were all extremely helpful, friendly and professional.Baby boy is almost 11 months old and does not like lying down at all. They handled it so well. We both enjoyed the fun decorations, the balloons and a little book we received along with our new toothbrush. Looking forward to all of our appointments. Thank you!

This was my son’s first dentist visit and I have to say it was one of the best experiences. They were very nice and had patience with him since it was his first time. The visit was fast and thorough. I definitely made the right choice bringing him here and will gladly continue to recommend others.

The office was pretty busy but they worked fast to get everyone in and out at a steady pace. The atmosphere was very nice for children and while waiting there was enough to keep them busy and occupied in a positive manner. I was very pleased with my experience and the kids liked it as well.

It was my toddlers first visit and he didnt like it but the staff made it as easy as they could for him. Will definitely be coming back here for his future dental checkups.

Very attentive with my 8 year old who has had past trauma with other dentists. They were so nice & kind made my whole family feel comfortable. They were sure to give me all information needed made sure to answer all my questions. Will continue to take my kids there

Very friendly staff and Doctor. My kids who are 4 and 5 years old felt very comfortable during the entire visit. Nice touch that they had a Micket Mouse character outside making ballon animals and swords. It was our first visit and I would definitely continue bringing my kids here.

So Happy I went in with my daughter, I did a walk in. This is a super kid friendly place and beyond what I expected, first off let’s start with how clean the office is; the dental assistants all have proper protection gear. The kids theater to kids area and just the wall decor makes the kids happy! I was in awe with the office manager, she was so kind and explained all the dental work my daughter received and she also provided me with updates and walked me in to see how my daughter was doing. The doctor who also did the work on her also heard my concerns and listen which not a lot of dental office do, overall the staff was also very kid friendly.I definitely recommend for you to bring your children.

My daughter needed her baby tooth pulled so it can grow evenly with the rest,, however,, when it came down to having it done I wasnt allowed to be in the room with my daughter whos only 6yrs old due to covid,, but I was in the room for everything else..And,, as I walked in the procedure room they had a wooden blue Strayjacket that looked hella scary to my daughter & me.. And they thought i was gonna let her go in alone with people I only known for 5mins lol,, NOT!!!

This place far exceeded my expectations! The staff and dentist were super friendly and took the time to explain everything. The facility is very clean with 2 kid friendly playrooms, state of the art wall mounted touch screen games and movie theater. The walls are beautifully painted circus theme with movies played for each patient to watch cartoons while in the chair. I wish I found this place sooner. I will not take my children anywhere else again!

First time taking my son to this dentist. Everyone was so nice and so respectful. My son is still small so I know he was a handful but everybody was super nice and welcoming to me and him. Imelda, I believe Oscar and Sandra were so nice to him and professional. Definitely recommend all staffing is amazing loved what they did to my son.

I enjoy coming for my kids dentist check up. The staff are very friendly and respectful. While we wait to be called the kids are entertain watching a movie.

Let me start by saying the place is very clean and sanitize. The equipment they used are very updated. I was so glad they have games an a theater inside for the kids to be entertained while we waited which it wasnt that long at all. The staff and doctor was very welcoming and polite. Im definitely recommend this place for kids. My kids LOVES this place and would be bringing them back.

The reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 is everything went good with take in, paperwork, extremely fast process from walk in to walked out. The only reason I gave 3 stars was that my 4 yr old walked out with a cut on his chin. I asked what had happened and he said that the doctor did it. I asked if it was brother, or if he fell or hit anything on accident, he repeated no, it was the doctor. No other complaints except for this one. I would comeback, and recommend this place.

Be aware of this place!!!Unless you want your child to get unnecessary dental work and have them charge your insurance X amount of money then you found your ideal place.Please read entire review!!!My Sister and I took my Niece to this dental place as it looks very child friendly and welcoming and were in for a ride. They did all the exams necessary for my Niece and confirmed she needed dental work. As we asked for further information due to COVID they suggested she get the fillings for her cavities done that same day immediately. No parent allowed in the room. It was my 3 y/o Nieces first time at the dentist and we definitely will never allow my Niece to ever be alone without one of her parents present! Big no no for this dental office. We decided to leave as this was a HUGE RED flag for us. 2 weeks later we go to a dentist in Redondo Beach highly recommend and they confirmed she had NO cavities. Which made more sense because we limit sugar intake and brush 3xs a day.Please ask questions and get a second opinion! Who cares what the facility looks like, or how nice theyre. Protect your child and always get a second opinion.

Greats place for kids! Loved it.

I’ve been bringing my daughter to this dental office since last year and I love it! Always clean, the staff is friendly, and the decor is animated which makes my daughter excited to be there. She enjoys the service because it’s always quick and easy. They even have a character such as spider man, Elmo, etc that makes balloon animals out front. No complaints here :)

So I took my four year old daughter here on April 2021. When the doctor came in to talk about her X-rays she clearly said she had 4 cavities and would need filling. As she continued, she advised me that doing treatment I would not be allowed in the room with her because due to the pandemic. Which I didn’t like the idea of that due to her being 4 year old. So I decide to go to another dentist and they new dentist does her new X-rays and all. Then comes in the doctor and tells me my daughter had NO CAVITES. I was surprised and I told the new doctor I had went some where else and they told me she had 4 cavities and she said nope her teeth are healthy. I would not recommend Magicland to anyone. I guess magicland lies about patients having cavities so they can get money off insurance. Parents seek a second option before you let these people do any work on your kids teeth.

Brought both of my daughters to this dentist for the first time. This place is clean and tidy. The staff was wonderful, professional. and careful. They followed COVID regulations and ensured a safe. Service 10/10, Highly recommend Magical Dental Group for your kids.

The place looked amazing from the outside as well as the inside. It was really clean and all the staff were so kind and welcoming. They have a separate little lobby for the kids to play. I was I there for a consultation for both my kids and they had time and did a very efficient job at also taking two baby teeth out for my child. I am so glad I stopped and made the appts here. They where Wearing their face shields/masks and gowns for our and their safety due to covid. My 1yr was very entertained with the movie on the televisions.

It was okay for the first visit. Just don’t like that fact that they won’t let me in if my daughter gets treatment she’s only 2 years old and suffers from severe anxiety . I’d rather take her to fun dental for kids they allow me there

It was my daughters first time at the dentist, and I was a little worried she would be afraid. The place was very clean and tidy. Waiting room had a movie on. Wait time wasnt very long and everyone was polite. The doctors were really nice and made the visit really quick and easy. Glad I found them.

I love this place very much I took my kids 5, and 3 yr old which was my sons first dental visit and also our first time in the office and let me tell you we all fell in love with the place it’s a great and fun place for your kids, and best part of it they have tablets on the walls to entertain our kids and a small tv I believe in every room and a small theater room to watch movies. My kids old dentist western dental in southbay pavillion was garbage, customer service was awful and even with an appointment we had to wait 3 hrs at best. This place so far has been amazing we come in usually 15 min wait and they get their appointments over with. My son chipped 2 of his front teeth in a head on collision in a bouncy house he had to get crowns and they made him as comfortable as they could and they checked up on him the next day via phone call its been 3 months and his crowns are in great shape. Definitely recommend this place.

This dentist office was AMAZING for and with me 4yr old daughter, especially with this being her first dentist visit ever! They are very polite, kind, patient, accommodating, and positive in every way... including the atmosphere, dentists/staff, and the vibes! 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend. At one point, I couldnt be with her, and they gained my daughters trust as well as mine, so I felt comfortable leaving her, and she comfortable enough to be without me! They followed COVID regulations and ensured a safe, clean environment for us to be in, which I appreciate because I am immuno-compromised.

Office staff is nice and profesional, the dentist was a bit rough and not as patient as I expected but the assistants were great and they all make sure to make your children feel awesome and excited through the experience.

I loved it! My 8 year old son is a cry baby. Every where else i go, they always reffer him to different places where they can put him to sleep. Here they took care of him and made him feel so comfortable. The nurses and specially the x-ray techs were amazing and very polite and educated. The doctor explained every picture and what he saw and what needed to be done. Deffenetely making this their primary dental clinic from now on.💚 God bless this amazing team.

As a cash patient I wish I had been told upfront that it was card/ credit card only . That would of saved me both time and headaches before agreeing to the consultation. Be clear on your payment policy’s as to not waste peoples time.

Kids loved this place ❤ my 4yr old usually freaks out at the dentist, but the staff and Doctor kept her calm and comfortable. My son whos 10 had a tooth extracted with little to no pain. Office was clean and sanitizer available. Staff wore masks at all times.

Horrible. Took my 4 year old here because they had weekend appointments available sooner then her regular dentist. So she was there a week ago on 7/11/20. They did her x-rays & doctor was telling me & my husband she had 4 cavities & needed a crown. An she needed to have the treatment done. An they didnt want to do the cleaning until after her treatment was done. So they were going to do the treatment & they tied her down & told me an my husband to wait outside. At that point we refused any treatment & told them well take her to her regular dentist. While i was in the waiting area, waiting for my daughter to have her x-rays. Literally every single patient that was coming out they were telling the parents they needed treatment. I get they just open but seriously there just trying to make money & charge insurances for unnecessary treatments. An also while we were there the staff in the front office wasnt wearing face mask. I get they have the pixie glass but that defeats the purpose of protecting patients from covid if the staff isnt wearing there mask.So i did i took her to her dentist in Montebello yesterday on 7/16/20 & they did new x-rays & her doctor said she didnt have not one single cavity. An i show her the x-rays that this dentist did on 7/11/20 & she said that there x-rays didnt show anything at all & that they also didnt take complete x-rays. So just beware when going to magicland dental.

Great experience at magicaland dental. A very clean, organized and sanitized place. Staff was very friendly, as well all covid-19 protocols are taken into order. Staff wear face mask at all time. Cecy made it comfortable for my daughter while she got her x-rays. The Doctor was very knowledgable and and gave her patient care well. Julio did my daughters cleaning and he was very gentle. My daughter felt very comfortable here at magicaland dental. Will definitely be going back.!!

My son is very scared of dentist and we are here through a referral . MY SoN LOVES it he didnt want to leave. I am truelly grateful for Patty the office manager who did an amazing job helping me and my son feel comfortable and still running the office smoothly.
