Very clean Urgent Care area; the Check-In staff at the front desk was very kind and informative. A lot of seats available as well as a TV with kids shows on to keep the kids entertained. I did not visit the Second Floor today which is Pediatrics and Womens Health. Theres clean water fountains and restrooms available while you wait. The wait time is reasonable just as you would expect from any Urgent Care area (not too long but not super fast either). The nurses and doctor I saw today were professional and got right to the point. I was glad to be able to communicate all my worries and details with the doctor that saw me and he did a good job giving me explanations. The location for this AltaMed Urgent Care is literally right behind the Regency Theater, about one block away from the other AltaMed office that is meant for appointments for adults only (as I confirmed this with the front desk staff). Clean restrooms and clean rooms, good job.

3 hours of waiting for urgent care and counting, my husband is been waiting for 30 minutes inside of the examine room for a doctor to see him and based on the information provided by the person at the door is only one doctor.

These receptionist here are so rude (womens care) completely unprofessional..They do not follow patient care they really dont care about us they need to be trained in customer service.Will not be coming here again.

I regret on going to altamed dental clinic.In my experience Altamed Dental group (Commerce) isnt good. One of the dentist did the job in the wrong place! They could never tell me why they did the job in the wrong section, they only said I mightve needed it (the first dentist told me I didnt need that much work). They never fixed my molars problem and they would do X-RAYS every visit, it was ridiculous. The dentist are extremely nice, but nice is not enough... They should be good at what they do, what they STUDY.Last year when I visit them, in 2 occasions, the dentist told me they couldnt see me anymore because the insurance would not pay for another thing... they supposedly fixed other problems that I had, but never the one that took me there in the first place.Most of the time theyre working with 2 people at the same time, probably thats the reason why they dont do a good job. The dentist insisted ALLOT that my wisdom tooth should be removed, they made me an appointment with an specialist... When the specialist remove my wisdom tooth, he told me that it was in a perfect condition, that I should have keep it.

Was a little nervous going in after reading the reviews but WOW my experience was the complete opposite the receptionist that helped me out was so kind & patient with me. She updated all my info with no problems. Seen nurse Mr. Martínez within 5 minutes of waiting he was amazing also did my flu shoot. Dr. Guzman was was amazing as well ! The pharmacist inside this building were all so sweet and informative they had my prescriptions ready within 3 minutes of me waiting!

They get you in very fast, the wait is not 4 hours like in other places. They have all the machines you need for a full check-up. So you dont get send to another clinic or have to reschedule an appointment. So far itsthe best place for a non appointment visit.

Been trying to get ahold of the office to make an appointment I set a call back option and no one calls me back and I even went online to make an appointment and still no update...?

I requested Monday or Tuesday for an appointment because it was my only days off from work. The coordinator Catherine Flores told me shell give me an appointment for Wednesday or Thursday. I told her I wont be able to go. She said shell still keep that appointment just in case I can make it. I told her if I can have the next available appointment and she said its in a week or 2. I said Ill take it and she said shell just keep it for the day she gave me. The day I couldnt go. Two weeks later I called to make an appointment on the day Catherine said was the next available appointment and I was told it was fully booked but Catherine will call me to see if she can help. Catherine Flores never called me back. Now the next available appointment is in a month. Im definitely going somewhere else where they do listen to my request.

Giving this a three star because i do plan on going back in MY near future, my only advice is for the clerks/front desk MA, or receptionists to be more compassionate and less rude. My experience would have been less stressful and less confusing had it not been for the attitude today.

Went here because I had a throat infection, really bad,all Dr did was check my throat. Since that was my main concern, but they dont bother to ask you if youve had any other symptoms. Theyre no personable. At all.. Drs just wanna get u in and out. I have PPO. So I can pretty much go to any clinic I want. Not coming here ever again. Thanks Altamed for not caring!

Everything was fine before Covid. But apparently theyre desperate for money now. Theyll give you 3 unnecessary appointments before actually doing something useful, if ever.Ive been waiting years to have these broken teeth extracted. Right when I was about to have the work done, Covid hit. My appointment was canceled. Ive been looking forward to getting that appointment back, but instead they acted brand new and made me go through several useless appointments, taking more xrays, having me do a video visit. What a joke? That dentist got paid to talk to me on a glitchy video and pretend to exam my teeth through a phone video.I was sent into the office for another useless visit.When I got upset, the receptionist said, Why didnt you just make the appointment for the extraction? Dumb bunny! I did and thats why Im here. Pendejota!

We went to urgent care expecting the usual long and frustrating wait with rude staff. Instead we walked into an Excellent facility with staff. From the front desk, nurses and pharmacists and Doctor. They were very patient with all my questions. Dr was very knowledgeable. From beginning, new patient registration to picking up medication at their on site pharmacy, ot took no more than one hour. Everything ran smoothly. Other clinics should take note on what organization really looks like. Thank you for all your help!

Reason I’m giving it a 2 star is because people here are disorganized and the provider I saw was very rude. The I was attended by 2 nurses and the second nurse who was taking care of me was the ONLY SWEET ONE! She was very nice and sweat and was very thoroughly on when she was going to do the test. When my fiancé and I got there there was no one there outside. There was no sign so he told me to maybe go inside and see what to do because no one was there. When we went inside the first nurse was very rude and yelled at my fiancé and I to get out. That was extremely rude! I work at an medical facility and we don’t treat patients like that. After that we went to see the second nurse and like I said she was the sweetest. Then when the doctor/ provider came, all I’m going to say, she could have worded out everything differently. Including my fiancé saw how she was talking to me and also found it extremely rude. This is the first time I come to this Altamed location, and I rather the altamed location close to downtown gives a better service than this. (2nd nurse again I didn’t catch her name but she was the sweetest person and I really appreciate her help.)

Their covid testing system is extremely flawed. It took me an hour to get thru the testing area, while having to jump thru hoops to get it done. It felt like the people here weren’t working together. They ask too many questions like why you’re getting tested, and lots of other personal questions.Edit: they messed up the test! We went thru all of this to get no test results back. Nope

I had my covid19 test done here, worst Experience ever! Even though I had an appointment it took them an hour and a 1/2 just to test me while I waited in my hot car. 2nd I had to call in for my own results which is not good considering that there a health care facility! When I spoke to them doctor over the phone it was like it was nothing like this is all made up bullship that was on the 6th of this month Ive been waiting since then for a letter to just gonna clear me back to work I cannot go back to work without that letter and I still havent received it! I dont understand how I tested positive then 5 days later i got a negative test result elsewhere!I strongly recommend to test elsewhere dontPretty this way I just called today and apparently my letter has been at the clinic this whole time when I was told specifically by the doctor that it would be mailed out if my symptoms worsened or advanced then I could disregard the letter in check myself into hospital or reissue of a new letter not once was I told that I have to go pick it up or did I have to set up a portal for outrageous and completely unorganized if you value your life

The staff here is super nice and never make me feel uncomfortable. Always making sure everyone is attended too and accommodated , you can tell they care about the patients here. Even the Pediatrics department makes my daughter feel so comfortable and never scared of frightened especially since she is so nervous around new people.

The OB/GYN side of this facility is excellent. All staff including the doctors go above and beyond to help. I received excellent service and doctors do have many years of practice. All ob/gyn staff need a raise. Truly Excellent service

Came to urgent care for my son, he had fallen at school and arm was hurting. All the staff was very nice and we did not wait so long to be seen around 3pm. They noticed he had a lump on arm and decided to take X-ray to be sure of what needed to be done next. Turned out he had a fracture and we had to go to another clinic to get cast done. They wrapped his arm and gave him a sling. Very happy with their process, and information. Thank you!

Went in last week for a consult with the urgent care doctor cus I was having a fever, sore throat and couldn’t hear at all. I felt so weak and sick, nursing staff was so caring and nice, but when the doctor came in he said you have serious allergies said he would give me some allergy pills and nasal spray and walked out. That next night I was choking in my sleep and had to be rushed to the hospital where they diagnosed me with a bad respiratory infection needed antibiotics and steroids to help me form choking. I don’t remember who the dumb doctor was at the urgent care clinic, worst experience ever. I need to find a new clinic now. Please be aware before going ask questions and make them listen to you before the doctor walk out.

I took my son for pain in his throat and I told the doctor that I thought it was throat infection he took a quick look and he said that he was going to prescribe medication for pain and before he stepped out I told him to check for infection and he did it was infection. That was not the first time when I go or I have taken my mom or daughter they assume there pain its normal and they prescribe pain medication they dont try to look for the real problem or have other test done they just want to move to the next patient. I am now really considering of moving my entire family to a different clinic that is not altamed I decided to leave a feedback after reading other feedbacks. People if you a experience something bad in any clinic or hospital please write a feedback or health is not a joke and should always needs to been taken serious. I just hope my feedback helps improve this clinic.

I been waiting in a room for about 1hr in half in the urgent care... i dont like is that ur in a room they call new patient and they leave before u...plus dr just in the room for 5 min to tell u everything fine... I think if i went to hospital i will get a better answer..

Worse place to even go for urgent care also for a baby they have the guts to say that my baby was okay and in reality NOT they were just assuming when seeing the baby from the counter and saying she okay also I had wait for a 1 hour not doing that incredibly stupidity there thanks a lot for those two lady’s for assuming and making stupid guesses so unprofessional. Do not even bother coming here go to a real hospital.

I always bring my son here cuz they have the friendliest staff.doctors and nurses here go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable.

Really disappointed with the URGENTCARE service of PHILIP KOUROS Took my son into urgent care on 9/3/19 due to toe pain. Saw a so called MD PHILIP KOUROS which didn’t even bother examining his toe properly and asking why it took him so long to go see a Dr. and that it looked infected. I told him that it looked like he had an ingrown toenail and probably that’s why it had gotten infected. Again didn’t bother putting on a pair of gloves and examining his foot just stood by the door and glanced at his foot from there and said he was gonna prescribe some antibiotics. Just prescribed antibiotics and if it didn’t get better in a week to come back so he could put in a referral to see a podiatrist then KOUROS left I tried to see or ask the so called dr why he couldn’t put in the referral at that moment but didn’t give a chance. I’ve had bad experiences with so called dr in giving false diagnosis on symptoms beforehand. Then u end up going back a week later worst than before and KOUROS responded by say if you weren’t feeling better you should have gone to the ER instead of waiting a week. I asked the nurse while she giving us the office visit paperwork why didn’t KOUROS put in the referral so my son could see a podiatrist for his foot pain and she responded cuz the dr noted said it was an infection. On 9/9/19 Ended up taking my son back AltaMed Clinic to see a actual Dr cuz it wasn’t getting better.

I would give a 0 star if I could...My mom went there for a bad migraine and rapid weight loss and instead of consulting her Dr. Salvador came in rude asking her why she went there she should go somewhere else

HE IN ANY WAY DID NOT ASK OR HAVE THE DISENTSY TO ASK THE MOTHER IF HE COULD DO A PREGNANCY TEST ON MY DAUGHTER HE JUST ASUMED THAT MY UNDER AGE DAUGHTER WAS SEXUALY ACTIVE. SO HE NEGLECTED TO GIVE MY VERY SICK DAUGHTER HER MEDICATION..

Im calling everybody I need to call. They poked my daughter 3 times to get blood & couldnt do it!!!! They are untrained & unqualified to work on anybody let alone somebodys kid. They are so unprofessional they need to be shut down!!!

First time going there , went in for a sprained wrist that I needed to get check in order to go back to work , the nurse was very polite and helpful , but my the doctor I got was not too helpful at all he didn’t even ask what I was in for assumed right away I had a disease that was due to stress which was causing my wrist to hurt , which was not even correct because I went in from getting hurt playing baseball and he didn’t even bother moving my fingers nor wrist to see if I was able to move my hand and just prescribed me pain medication and an ace elastic bandage for my wrist .

Very bad service they do not attend you on time if you have an appointment they make you wait an hour more than the appointment you have I am pregnant and I do not recommend this place nor do the doctors attend well.

Good attention with friendly staff, from the reception and the attention of their nurses and doctors.
