Dr. Manning is amazing! A friend reffered me to them when I adopted my puppy. They were super helpful getting me all of the information on vaccines, prevention, and even gave suggestions on food. He makes educated choices about treating animals, and is even budget conscious about all prescriptions and treatments. I love the staff there, I highly recommend them!

Dr. Manning and his awesome staff have taken great care of all of our fur babies, Audie, Bonnie, Clyde, Layla Bug and Jasper! Easy scheduling, on time appointments and appointment reminders, affordable services, knowledgeable and friendly staff. We could not ask for better care for our animals!

Had an emergency, our cat was dieing, receptionist said we had to have an appointment, was rude and was told we had to go somewhere else. We have used them before for our animals. The Veterinarian is great; however, the receptionist needs improvement.

I will never go back here again. I took my kitten here since he had a bump on his lip. Setting up an appointment was easy and the lady on the phone was short but nice. Upon my arrival, no one greeted me. I waited at the front desk for a few minutes. A second person came in that the staff clearly knew and they were greeted. I waited a few more minutes until I spoke up. I met with the vet for less than ten minutes. He told me the bump was from my cats diet and was an allergy reaction. Why I dont doubt this, I do feel like the vet was short and lacked care. I was prescribed three medicines. I paid for these medicines (obviously). The medicines were liquid in small bottles dosed out by the vet tech. One medicine was supposed to last 14 days and only lasted 8. The second medicine didnt last the full 14 days either. I completed all medicines and my kitten still has a now smaller bump. The only thing I can do is take him back and pay another fee to see a vet who clearly doesnt care about my pet.I can get pass the rudeness of the staff and lack of attention/care form the vet. But paying for a certain amount of medicine and receiving almost half of what you paid for is poor business practice.There are 100s of vets in the area that we will try. We will never go back here and I wouldnt recommend you try them either.

Dr. Gregg was awesome. He truly cared about the animals and worked with families who werent able to pay upfront costs. The new vets only care about the money. I lost 3 of my dogs in ONE weekend because the new vets wont do ANYTHING for your animals if you cant pay everything all at once. Dr. Mannings comment when I told him my dog was having a prolonged seizure was, I wish I could help you! I was thinking...help me??? Its my 4 year old dog that needs help. All he cared about was the money! Had Dr. Gregg been there all three of my dogs would still be alive!After that, I knew I was never going back. And I definitely would never recommend them.

I was able to call and come in right away to have my puppy dewormed. It was pretty busy which tells me they are a well trusted clinic. They were helpful, friendly and family oriented. This will be the vet I use from now on.

Dr.Mcintire and the staff helped us with our sweet dog,Beau today. It was a very rough day for my family. The staff had so much compassion for us and our dog. They are skilled and ethical. We are grateful for them and so appreciative for the kindness they showed us today.

Was very skeptical about taking my puppy to a vet out here in commerce. But dr. Manning is GREAT and so is his team. Really appreciate the office for the calls after our visits to make sure no reactions have taken place etc from vaccines. Their puppy plans are affordable.

This is a good place where they treat the animals well. The Dr. knows his stuff and most of the staff is helpful. They have a couple girls up front that are dinky, so I dont prefer to talk to them, ask for one that has been there a while. The prices are very reasonable, unfortunately anything medical costs more than usual. My pup got parvo (even though he had been given his shots) and this doctor was the only one that would work with me. I was able to purchase what I needed, and saved my dog with alot of effort. It still cost a large amount, and I had to sell some livestock to pay for it. Just because payment plans arent available doesnt make him a bad doctor.. Griffin is now a healthy happy dog and you cant even tell that he almost died when was 6 months old. Ive also taken cattle here that they treated fine as well. Give this office a chance, they will not disappoint you.

Dr. Manning is very professional and knowledgeable. He always care about his patients . The staff are very friendly and they are always doing a wonderful job treating our animals. They always has big smile on their faces. Highly recommended.

Dr. Manning is an intelligent, caring and dedicatedveterinarian. He has helped us through many difficult situations by answering his phone and caring for our pets at all hours. His team is also very caring and dedicated. We are so happy he is our veterinarian, he is wonderful!

Doctor Jon Manning is knowledgeable, personable, and professional. Whenever my wife PJ and I have needed him, no matter what time of night or day of the week, he has been there to help. He has saved numerous animals for us from dogs to goats to horses. When we were faced with a situation of losing one of them, he and his staff were compassionate and considerate of our feelings, and of our granddaughters as well.

We got a quote over the phone for our dog. $218 to spay an 80 pound dog in heat plus pain meds. I took her there, and the bill was $425 after they were done. They couldnt fully explain why it was more expensive because an itemized statement could only be printed after I paid. I wanted to pay up front, and was told to wait until I picked her up to pay; whereas billing discrepancies could have been resolved before the operation. I feel scammed over this. I expect to be scammed by doctors, but I let my guard down, and got scammed by an animal doctor. Oh well, I recommend getting a written quote, and paying up front, or going elsewhere.

Vet does not work with customers financially and refers all to care credit when not all people qualify. Treatment is not the best my dog pasted away several weeks later from a tumor he never found. Dr manning himself is a very knowledge and nice dr. But where they offer no solutions for people with finances they get a one star from me.

I am really impressed with Dr. Jon and the staff at HCAH. They are all extremely professional, but also personable and friendly. When my puppy was a bit under the weather, Dr. Jon took the time to talk to me on the phone for a follow up after a thorough exam two days prior. I feel confident that my animals are getting quality care from HCAH.

Some people were born to be Veterinarians,...and Dr Gregg was one of those people. It was as if he could see through the animals eyes and know just what was wrong. He was a no-nonsense doctor who treated the animal as if he or she were a person. But since he retired, the Hunt County Animal Hospital still carries on that Legacy in providing the best care possible.

My cat was kept there for 2 days in I assume a little kennel that I brought her in with. They kept her longer than they should, did not call to tell me I could take her home (I brought her 2 days early because she was in heat and meowing and I got complaints from the neighbors). They spayed her the first day, claimed I called them, was rude when I tried to figure out the phone issue, and would not discuss with me the what I assume was a misunderstanding. When I got my cat and my kennel back I smelled poop. I thought she pooped right then, but when I cleaned out the kennel, I found crystalizing urine, and poop that had been there for a while. She had an infection on her wound and I took her to another vet to get it treated. They did not seem to care what they did.

Dr. McIntire was so helpful and kind as she took care of our goat Stella. Even though it was after hours, she was amazing! Thank you Dr. McIntire!

Dr. Manning and his staff have always been super helpful and kind. Theyve called to check up on our animals after sick visits and squeezed us in the schedule when able. I appreciate the ways this clinic considers their clients in the treatment plans, cost, and comfort of our pets. While no clinic is perfect, Hunt County Animal Hospital seems to strive to care for animals well. In my opinion, they are a great asset to our rural community!
